Please, kill this show.
While first two seasons were watchable and even entertaining, the third went downhill after first few episodes. Aaaand here comes the fourth season and I'm still unable to determine which character i hate most.
Please, let this be the last season so we can all quickly forget about this show and hope for something new and worthy of the Trek series.
it started so well, going a little downhill with season 3, but season 4 really turned it into a shit show and total waste of time. nothing more to add
well, maybe one more thing to add: i still can get over the ridiculous special effects with cheap pattern flame bursts on the bridge when the ship takes a hit ... i mean, seriously?!
I hate this show.
If it weren't Star Trek, it would still be an objectively terrible show.
The acting is over-the-top. the characters are not developed, the plot makes no sense, the characters behave in unrelatable ways, it consistently ignores reality/physics, and the CGI is just too damn much.
I missed an action TV show like this since banshee
A bad CW teen drama meets gory Lost rip-off. What a recipe for disaster. I hated all characters, some of the worst writing and acting I've ever seen, the reveals and twists felt stupid and unbelievable, and hell even the music was horrendous...
Good storyline but a good story and good acting can't make up for terrible writing.
The characters are plastic and unbelievable. The story unfolds in a Helter skelter fashion. The action scenes are completely unbelievable.
I REALLY like where this is going.
Ok Tyler Sheridan did not disappoint with this one so far, two episodes in and loving it. Great cast and the story keeps getting better, not for the faint of heart, the show has a lot of violence and scant language.
If Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown are your jam, do not miss this one.
A very unique, peculiar show. I enjoyed its sassiness; the cast is great, however, by the second season, it became a bit... well, boring might be a strong word here, but I found myself not wanting to binge the episodes as I usually do with other series. Overall, I like the concept, but I think two seasons might be enough here, the ending doesn't call for more either.
It keeps getting lamer with every episode.
Could the writing be any worse, I'm now hoping they all die.
Huzzah! That is all. Now, fuck off.
very well written and very good acting Michael Keaton and Kaitlyn Dever are fantastic all around just a great show about a subject that needed some exposure i never knew so many people got addicted to this drug so easily the company and executives who pushed it should pay dearly
I don't know what it is exactly about this show, but it's just not compelling TV. I loved the comics (it's one of the best comic series ever), but whatever magic was there didn't translate to the screen despite the series sticking pretty close to the tone of the original material.
I watched 4 episodes and I'm just... bored. Agent 355 is interesting, but only marginally so. Yorick, while charming in the comics, is like a Shia Labeouf imitator who goes "No no no no no!" every three sentences. And so far, it's mostly just people walking from point A to point B through the woman-only post-apocalyptic landscape.
I'm chalking this one up to another proof that creating a faithful adaptation doesn't always mean you capture the magic of the source material. Read the comics instead!
Excellent show. Puts "Orange is the New Black" to shame.
Enjoyed the first episode very much. The show to me is blend of Dallas and Bonanza.
No clue why this has been so low rated. The first episode was great and sounds we have another HBO good series.
If you like drama, thriller and comedy don't miss this one.
[Netflix] As subtle as a reggaeton song. A road-movie that does not move from the same place, stretching the excesses with unnecessary flashbacks, determined to construct supposedly impressive dialogues that are actually road bar phrases. It offers a message of denunciation that is lost between tits and buttocks, a cynicism that claims the empowerment of women while it brings her to her knees.
I'm pre-emptively giving this a meh cause I'm sure this show is not gonna surprise me. Halfway through we have one filler episode and one of the most uninteresting reveals possible and cliches so expected and boring that I feel I know exactly how this will end
I dunno why I expect anything interesting from these shows. I keep hoping that we'd get Legion again cause Disney owns Fox and Legion was an X-Men property. I don't mean we'd get a reboot or whatever of Legion, just that they'd take the interesting ideas from Legion and make something interesting and zany and truly whacky and avante-garde. Instead, WandaVision was uninteresting and terrible and this takes a genuinely interesting character and flanderizes the shit out of him
I should probably give up on the MCU shows and just watch the movies. At least they're short
Edit: watched the last episode. Yeah I'm not changing my rating. The pacing was awful. The finale was messy and the cliffhanger ending was unearned. The fights were heavily edited poorly choreographed chaos
Poor man's Dr. Who. Watched all three episodes because no other good Fantasy/adventure series airing, but would otherwise quit after first episode. Too much talking, thinking they sound cute, with very little substance. Different time lines.... this new trend jumping from one Hollywood series to another (Flash, Marvel, etc) is getting tedious.
what a stupid show. Hollywood/Disney outdid themselves on showing their stupidity on this one . waste of file time and money.
Part 2 is only a shadow part 1. Disappointed.
I gave the first season an 8/10 for some reason... I must have enjoyed it.
Season 2 is deplorable - I thought I'd written it because I knew exactly what was happening before it actually happened!!
I watched the first 2 episodes and that was painful enough - no more!!
I can only surmise the writing/directing went off the rails between season 1 and 2, or I was drunk throughout season 1.
I'm re-adjusting my number to 1/10
The so-called pro hacker joins an IRC chat on an MS DOS CMD prompt with his phone . Quite lame. Didn't they get any consulting on the matter? They should have had a look at Mr. Robot. They're shell gibberish that came along quite often seemed plausible, at least to some extent.
want to like it but it's slow. real lack of development of story. long scenes of nothing happening.
I just watched the first episode. I didn't understnd anything about this. I don't know where thay are, what they are doing, why they are doing whatver they're doing. i was just lost. I know this is based on a book ( Ihaven't read and I won't read it). I expected to understand the show without being part of the book fandom.
Intriguing world and premise, but the terrible pacing and uneven quality destroys a promising show.
Characters are fairly one dimensional, especially their introductions are lacking. The plot moves at the speed of a bullet train launched into space, which especially hurts the world building and character development. It also causes the themes to be hardly explored, and side plots to feel trivial. CGI and cinematography are a mixed bag, ranging from nice to terrible (especially the color filter is often hideous), The acting is ok in general, but dialogue can be uneven.
About halfway into the 1st season, the show stabilizes somewhat, but it never recovers from the problematic opening, making any investment in the characters and world shallow at best.
It is a waste because the world seems highly interesting, and I have to assume it deserves much better than this uninspired work.
So every male character is weak, stupid or irresponsible and 90% of the black characters are gay? Oh yeah this is a great show. Fuck off with this shit!!!
Could only do 3 episodes it's pure garbage
What a waste of good actors (and of my time). Although a quite good idea the execution is simply boring.
