The only part I felt didn't work was Drake Bell's segment. It literally ends with a promo of the song that he released after the documentary came out. The other stuff was at least a little interesting and gave some of the cast the ability to talk after Dan's "apology." But, in reality, this didn't need to exist and was just a way to continue the hype of the documentary.
I've been liking the show for the most part but something that bugs me is how it really depends on you having already watched the original show. The way they introduce Jet is done in a way to where you will only be excited if you already know about him. It just feels pretty alienating to anyone who hasn't watched the original.
I honestly really enjoyed this first episode. Love Justin Hartley from his time on This Is Us and like this character he is playing. I also love the dynamic between him and all the people he counts on. Should be an interesting series.
First time ever watching this and it is so easy to see where a lot of the tropes of current teen television have come from. Especially the student-teacher relationship drama. I was definitely invested in the series while I was watching. Definitely wouldn't have guessed though that Dawson was such a movie guy. I mean he literally had a framed photo of Spielberg in his room.
What a great start to this season! Loved every bit of what they are doing here. Also loved Will in the beginning learning Spanish to connect with his mom's memory. Can't wait to see where this season goes.
Lisa and Danny's chemistry is so cute I can't even stand it. It's a testament to how good the actors are considering they aren't even physically there together at all.
Give Ke Huy Quan's character a spinoff now
I will try my best to make it through this show but honestly it is so uninteresting to me.
This finale is definitely something interesting. I think having these episodes tie into each other more has been to the series' benefit as it allows for more interesting storytelling. But, I feel like the plot has gotten so weird that some things just don't work that well. I can't wait for next season to see what they do.
It's literally been almost a year since I last watched this show and I definitely forgot how messy it can be.
So cute so far and I'm loving that these episodes are longer.
I loved seeing one that didn't go as well. It's easy to just show off everything going good but I liked that not every show is going to be a hit for them.
I definitely want to be Carmy when in reality, I'm Richie and this episode helped me realize that. I don't think I would've said Richie was my favorite character before but I feel like this episode showed me that he is. I went through all the emotions with him on this one. He needs to be protected at all costs.
I'm definitely invested into this more than I thought I would be. I have my own theories about the killings but I think the show is doing a good job of making me question them already.
I'm enjoying this show the most whenever The Weeknd isn't on-screen. If you took out Tedros and just focused on Jocelyn, I think the show would be more enjoyable.
It's so crazy to see Anna so grown up now. I used to watch Odd Squad with my brother when he was younger so seeing her older is insane to think about. I can already see how cute this show is going to be and I can't wait.
A really good first episode. I think it does well in setting up the dynamics of all the uncles making all of them feel distinct from one another. The lead kid is also pretty good too and I think he has excellent chemistry with all the uncles and the mom. Can't wait to see where this series goes.
Once it actually got to doing the ghost element of the story, I got interested. Everything before wasn’t very funny but I’m willing to give it a chance.
What a good finale. Will Trent has been one of the biggest surprise series for me because I initially was dismissive of the series due to it having a bland title. But, I gave it a chance and really enjoyed it. The acting and storytelling is really good and caring about these characters is really easy. I can't wait to see what the series will bring with it next season. I'm definitely hoping for Will to look more into his family history now.
This was a pretty good one. I think it takes full advantage of having the episodes not be stand alone and actually build a big story. That ending definitely has me interested about this final episode.
Don't know how anyone else feels but I think I would like it more without the songs or the inner head people. There was a large gap in the episode where Lindsay's people didn't even show up. And I think the songs just in general aren't my thing.
I watched this again for the first time in a year or two and I just have to say how excellent a conversationalist Sam is. She is more than just a funny comedian. She articulates things in a really interesting way that shows how intelligent she is and how she wraps her head around certain topics.
This episode was better than I thought it was going to be. The whole PI angle they took with the story made it more interesting to me than just him being stuck in a mental asylum. It was a perfectly fine episode though in terms of story. Having evil leapers being a thing so early on is interesting but I just kinda wish it was a secret for longer. The twist at the end was kinda comical to me in terms of presentation but I'm interested to see how that plays out.
This was a really good episode. I loved the changing of the holograms from Addison to Jenn in this one. I thought it brought a new and interesting dynamic in terms of how the two work. However, it makes me question why they didn't put in Ian for the trans daughter episode since they would have more experience than anyone else.
Anyways, the leap itself was a really good one. I'm a sucker for a good courtroom drama and this definitely provided that. I also liked Ben having to deal with leaping into someone with a partner and actually being affectionate with them. The bounty hunter episode really did a disservice to the relationship Ben was able to have with his leapee's partner. I doubt that the fact the partner was a man in the other one had anything to do with it (or at least I hope not) but I think it would be interesting to have that dynamic pop up more.
That said, I don't think I'm going to care for this next episode. I'm sure it'll end up being fine but nothing about him being stuck in an insane asylum seems interesting to me. Especially since it looks like they're trying to make it another horror episode like the Halloween one from last year.
This episode is definitely way better than the first one. It had more funny moments and tearjerker stuff which I've come to expect from a Bill Lawrence show.
This was a really good episode. Loved the emotional tie to Ben's mom and the connection he felt with this family. The Ian stuff felt a little anticlimactic but was still nice to see.
If you think this series is "woke," you obviously didn't watch the original series.
This show definitely has my attention to say the least.
I'm very behind on this show right now but I plan to catch up and be more on it like I was in the beginning.
This was a really good one. The concept itself was interesting even if it turned out to be not exactly be what we thought it was. Even then, it's cool to see this show take the time travel concept in different ways than what the original gave us.
This show is nowhere near as good as On My Block was. I liked some of the character dynamics but it felt like it built up to not much. Also, Gloria is probably the least likable character in the series. She is a pain and honestly just says the most hurtful stuff without consequence.
