The jazz club scene and music was quite well done!
Jodie Foster directed this? Interesting....
People may not realize how "close" this is with technology. And most probably not understanding the psychological impacts this could have.
It's a great cast. The cinematography is great. I just felt it was predictable. Maybe I just waited too long to watch it even though I didn't discuss it with anyone.
I do like how the ending finished the story though.
WoW! Ok...I need some of the LSD it takes to be involved in this show. What a freaking trip. Also the oddest "version" of White Rabbit I have heard....
A dance off?
This is such a great classic Hitchcock movie. The camera angles, the colors, the story....
Ray Millan and Robert Cummings play great opposite each other. John Williams does excellent as Chief Inspector. His little "mustache play" at the end seems to be a nod towards Poirot.
Grace Kelly is mesmerizing as always. Such a classic woman.
"It is not our enemies that defeat us, it is our fear.'
Poe is awesome.
Great action episode as well.
Funniest episode so far. So many references and making fun of the whole filming aspect itself.
Holy freaking crap it's an intense episode.....
I'd say this one was good not great story wise. Animation is pretty good though. There's a couple of things you miss if you don't watch it closely:
The roach acting like it's having sex with a small stuffed animal.
The bus balanced on a garbage heap.
The Chuck Norris poster.
I swear the bottle of beer he pulls out of the cooler is very similiar to a Sierra Nevada beer but using fake names.
So much talent in this movie. know I'm just getting around to it almost 14 years later, but still cool to see how far much of this talent has come over that time period.
Having David back brought life to the end of this series. "Swapping fluids...." LOL!
I don't like what they have done with Trish. And Mal just being used....
Stay in the Grave Carl.... Can we end this yet??
Although Simon as a walker is pretty damn funny and deserving.
Such a great casting for Carnage...
I'm not familiar with the book, but this is a solid first episode. Joel Kinnaman is awesome as always.
Poe. The Raven Hotel. Well done!
The world is fucking bleak. LOL that's the funniest line in a show in such a long time....
The song at the end is so damn righteous for the ending....
Helen Slater! Yeah! Never thought I'd see her here.
Edward Woodward makes a great Ghost of Christmas Present. Although I still expect him to pull out a pistol at some point... LOL...
For those unfamiliar with JC, this is probably the introduction of the bastard that he is/has to be. And how/why he suffers for it.
Quite the cast. We started watching this because of Bill Nighy (who does an excellent job) but seeing Tara Fitzgerald (before Game of Thrones), a young Henrey Cavill (pre-The Tudors and Man of Steel), an older Henry Thomas (Elliot from E.T.), Rose Byrne (pre Moira from the X-Men movies) and Marc Blucas (who I mostly know from Buffy the Vampire Slayer series).
The movie deals with love. It is a romance (not really a comedy), but it doesn't end with the normal everyone gets what they want and live happily ever after.
Such an amazing cast! And every time we watch it, we discover someone new that we see in other movies and tv shows!
It’s fun rewatching this and seeing all the stars of the time. Personally I think Finley overacted in this movie but really enjoyed him in movies he did much later on.
Still a great movie!
This was my introduction into Toni Collette who is such an awesome talent!
Say what you want about this series, but Frances Conroy is doing a great job!
I could do a 2nd season. I think as the season progressed it got better. The characters become more than two dimensional. Yes it's been done in various forms or fashion, the struggle of humanity after catastrophic events always has many turns.
Poor Jean....
Personally I think the story is getting better.
A much more real possibility than zombies for sure. I think it should still make us think about humanity doing times like these. Survive or not. Share or not.
It's just so cold looking watching this show. And enough creepiness to keep you on edge.
30 lashes punished as a boy is brutal.
Probably the best episode so far.
I wish Trish (Patsy) would become the Hellcat she should....
It's a slow burning cult show. Think the 70s like The Legacy, To the Devil A Daughter, or The Wicker Man. I found it to be quite enjoyable even with some of the predictability of it.
Overall the cast did an excellent job. I would be up for a 2nd season....
