That argument between Sutton and Richard was so raw and emotional. Hands down the strongest scene I’ve seen on this show.
I feel so bad for Richard, this is the kind of things that you need to talk about before getting married.
I love Sutton, but poor Richard, man. He deserves better. I kinda feel like he's always drawing the short end of the stick in their relationship. Kids are not a topic you want to discuss after the wedding.
Also, not liking the politics angle. Kat is extremely intolerant and rude to people who don't share her opinions, which we've seen time and time again. So very close-minded. And also very prejudiced, as evidenced by her just assuming Eva was straight just because she's a Republican. I really, really dislike that about her. And I knew from the second Eva showed up at the Belle club that the writers were gunning for some type of romantic drama. So obvious. So unoriginal. Please don't subject us to that.
Probably the strongest (or at least the funniest) episode of the season so far! Raven Symoné was a great addition to the show.
Wow, I can’t believe Sam Evans is Jane’s big brother!
"Fifty shades of Grace??!" Alright, I'll give that one to them.
Kat was so annoying in this episode...ALL THE TIME correcting Jane! And by the way,Jaime is pronounced Hi-meh,not Hi-me...
Sue is being sorely underutilised this season. I hope that's building to something.
Still not sure how I feel about the immortal Iron Fist, protector of Kun Lun, sworn enemy of The Hand either.
After a strong start, the second and third sophomore season episodes falter a bit. On the first season, Emily sought to publish her poems. Her sudden turnaround this season, against recognition counters her feminist idealism. It doesn't help that Emily's poems are only shared with her muse, Sue, who is almost entirely a different character on this season. (I hope Sue's miscarriage from her employer will be addressed soon.)
The seance scene felt too fantastical and so ridiculous that I was sure it was a dream sequence.
These structural problems aside, the series looks good and the writing is as sharp as ever. Ageless Jane Krawkowski steals this episode, dealing with the twins and becoming a "navigator."
That final song that played was Hailee Steinfeld herself. She's so damn talented.
finally a male character that i like, and then he goes and dies of tuberculosis.
Never meet your heroes is truth.
"why do you think the indians would want you?" mom wins this episode XDD
I really hope this isn't the preview to Conelly being demoted to a guest star.
She is THE Star of this show.
Also: I would be surprised if Wilford survives the season, it'd be a first for Sean Bean...
I know it's a dramatiziation but I think they're taking it a bit too far. Shepard is a complete a**e. So far it's a contest between him and Glenn. The others are background noise.
WOOOOOO!!! GINA!!! This is gonna be GOOOOOOD.....
Wow...everything I've ever seen Brandon Routh in, he plays a nice, well-mannered,good guy. I would have never thought him capable of playing an angry, sarcastic, SEVERELY racist cop! You can almost FEEL the hate coming off of him! GREAT acting!
That was dumb. What type of master thief, with all the tech, not digitize the tape & trust to go on a show with no back up plans. This is some lazy writing. This show just went down hill. Hope the writing isn’t this bad in next episode.
Broke in and out of prison in less than 48 hours? Eat your heart out Michael Scofield!
Bi-nonna Earp and Warrior Nuns (but watchable?)
Class episode to close off an arc before the production break.
sweet wayhaught fingering I'm deadddddd
Seriously? She asks about Gabby? Stupid.
Finally, Matt and Sylvie! Too bad Matt had to blow it, at least for now. Also very nice touch with Kelly retrieving the door and and making the switch to keep the remembrance of Shay, beautiful.
I miss Shay, but I enjoy Lauren in Lucifer at least for now.
Everyone badmouthing Finding Dory can pretty much fuck off. No, I don't care if it's your opinion or not, your opinion is shit. The movie picks up right where it left in terms of pace, themes, plot and story, nothing wrong with it.
Oh my God.
The "I trusted you Peter..." number with those shoulder moves - GENIUS!
I can't put my finger on it, but this episode is, to me, a pinnacle of comedy drama television.
And sneaky onion ninjas everywhere.
DON'T DO DRUGS!
Holy shit, just when I thought characters couldn't be more perfectly developed... This episode somehow connected me to Derrel, and the ending made me realize, just how well Mr. Pickles treated people, and how this was another person who's life was totally changed, and is there to help Jeff. Great episode, went by so fast.
- There's no chemo for dengue!
I laughed a wee bit more than I think should have at that line.
Jeff is too good of a human being for this world. The things he does for others... Sure, he can be a bit selfish, at times (remember when he bought the house next to his ex only to spy on her?), but selflessness seems to be his default setting. Which is why we saw him breaking apart at the end of the episode. No human being can handle that amount of selflessness, particularly after getting hurt the way he did in this episode.
If there ever was a show with a fun downward spiral, it's definitely this one.
I've never seen such a heartfelt "Fuck you" coming from a whole family.
