Oh, Riverdale, why can't I quit you? Every time I think I'm going to just give up on this crazy-ass show, I just get sucked right back in. Nothing makes sense, people do whatever they want without the correct schooling or accreditation, everyone sleeps with each other, and someone is breaking out in song and/or dance every few episodes, but damn it, I keep watching. Why do I torture myself so?
What the hell is going on? It's been 13 episodes of season 5 and I haven't seen a single sane storyline yet.
it getting worse every episode 1st season was the best. i wonder what's next
What the hell did I just watch?!?!
It's weird how Riverdale consistently confuses me... What was this episode?
So, what... the writers regretted their decision to have Hiram plant a bomb so they backtracked, invented a whole new town and decided the entire past 5 seasons were a dream? This is beyond ridiculous! They really need to just let this show die instead of trying to turn it into The Twilight Zone.
What a waste of time. I stopped watching the show over a year ago because it stopped being funny. Not sure why I thought this would be any different. It is basically a boring 4 minute Disney+ ad.
Why should we be made to sit through an entire episode where we watch people watch the show? What is this?
I'm 10 minutes into this episode and it's already exhausting. Are they just going to go round in circles and keep the 4400 detained all season? Does the CW not have the budget to film outside the walls of the detention center?
Netflix needs to give it up with some of these adult animations if they can't find good writers. They are churning the shows out at an alarming rate and they can't seem to deliver, out of 20 they only get one hit and the rest are duds. This show is simply droll, not a single laugh. I guess it's supposed to be educational but even then, it's not made well enough to keep an adult audience captivated or interested. They keep dropping random animal facts as if they're dealing with young children... talk about a total lack of subtlety. This should be used as a case study for how not to make an educational animated show for adults. IMO, a rating of 4 is extremely generous.
Reminiscent of WeTV's "Love After Lockup", except this is less dramatic and a little bit slower. It feels as though they could and should edit out and cut down a lot of the content. The episodes (all longer than 40 mins) seem dragged out for no reason and the scenes / conversations are pretty repetitive.
started okay, but went downhill and got bad pretty quickly
It’s literally so bad. I don’t know why I’m still watching it. The second to last episodes is particularly unbearable, they keep breaking out into song. No offence to any of the cast members or any of the other staff. All offence to Roberto. I am sorry about what’s happening to your father though.
Still very enjoyable, still very brutal, still intriguing and I am craving for more!
Okay, I´m done with this one. The last season (S05) was hard enough to get through. Now with 2 eps into S06 I don´t feel like I want to keep up with this nonsense. But hey.. at least there was (almost) no singing involved so far...
Not a bad show, but there are scenes where things happen that literally don’t make any sense, just filling up time. I do like the fact that some things from the movies come back.
almost unwatchable, couldn't even make it past the first 10 minutes
I think it was really funny.. I rarely laugh while watching movies, but this was so silly it was really funny.. Great way to spend your night when you don't know that to do with your life
The game is one of the most disappointing movies I have ever seen. It was very good for the first 110 minutes, and in the last 10 minutes it completely throws away whatever credibility it had for the entire movie. Suffice to say the ending completely ruined the film.
Spoilers ahead
They honestly expect you to believe that this guy is totally cool with being manipulated and deceived into believing he had murdered his brother. They expect you to believe that this guy would just be cool with believing they ruined his life and left him for dead. Fincher thinks the audience will just understand that this guy, who attempted suicide 5 minutes before, would just have a drink and move on. It somehow made sense to fincher that the guy would somehow jump off a building in the exact place the tarp was to hit it right on the x spot. Michael Douglas just accepts that these people forced him to murder and attempt suicide, and then just walk it off. "No no it's a prank bro, seriously bro it's a prank man it's a prank!" Most insulting ending I've ever seen.
This show is filling the Orphan Black shaped hole in my heart. Thanks, BBC America!
Pervy pensioner sex pesters porn stars. Sounds great on paper, which is where it should have stayed.
Idk what evil power compelled me to waste my time with this. Not scary, not interesting, just disgusting.
:heart:x4
Bottom line - don't waste your time. The story itself was mediocre at best. The pacing, however, was horrible. The whole thing moved in slow-motion.
How I rate:
1-3  = seriously! don't waste your time
4-6  = you may or may not enjoy this
7-8  = I expect you will like this too
9-10  = movies and TV shows I really love!
What a load of utter garbage, whoever made this is sick in the head.
50 minutes in and I'm bored to tears. I get that it's supposed to be all artsy but seriously I don't get how this is a horror.
Jesus this bad… Like, WW84 bad…. Like, Cats bad… Like, Jack & Jill bad…. Like, Paul Blart bad…
I wish i could understand the hype and praise around this movie but i felt myself just wanting it to end. I wasn't impressed by the gore, camerawork or editing like others have. The plot sure wasn't nothing to rave about and differentiate itself from just about any other slasher film.
