everyone who hates riverdale musical episodes fails to realize that they are so much fun and also a serve. as a former riverdale hater and someone who has been on trakt for 7 years and never left a comment on this site before in my life know that i mean every single word of this.

@camrynms Not all of us want to watch the cast singing for no reason. It's exhausting and makes the writers seem like they fall back on filler musical episodes to hide the fact that they have run out of content. Feeling this way doesn't make us haters, it's just means that we aren't all into the corny singing every other episode. Once was enough, this isn't Glee
people be like "I hate this garbage so much it's awful cant wait for it to end" and still watch every episode day 1

@harlillyquinn Well it's sorta like when someone serves you a disgusting snack that's not so bad that you're repulsed but it's not good at all either, and you robotically keep reaching for another piece and get grossed out each time, until the plate is taken away. Same thing here, this is mindless TV that's badly acted but most of us just watch it for lack of anything better to do. It's by no means terrible, but that doesn't mean it's any good either :joy:
I can't believe neither doctor stood to the side of or behind a patient that just had hip surgery. That's not an operational error, it's just common sense. Not to mention if she had hit her head, then the hospital would be facing a huge lawsuit.

@strykar If they'd been standing by her side then they'd have to catch her. For dramatic effect the camera pans out so that we see her fall and it has the desired effect on the audience. It is a TV show after all.

@glasgow1975 The CW is all over the place with this show. They can't seem to make up their minds on whether this is the 1920s, the 50s, the 80s or present day.
Really solid episode, really got me laughing with the good back and forth between Dave and Ally. Manages to tread that line between heartfelt and humourous which many shows struggle with. Was on the fence after the first two episodes, but this one seals the deal. Will definitely be watching the rest of the season.

@mavrik316 Is it being cancelled? I was literally about to say that I couldn't watch another episode after this prom mess. The issue for me is the acting - it's becoming more and more 90's by the second. I can't understand why they feel the need to write such corny lines for the characters and instruct them to kinda over-act like it's theatre? Makes me cringe every episode. I concur, thank goodness for its cancellation!
with all the singing... horrible finish. I hope Season 7 bring something seriously new and exciting. This show is on a repeat cycle with boring curses
