I think it's hard to put into words how geniusly devious this one is. What floored me was the look on Brennan's face as you watch him put all the pieces together in his head.
actually evil of them to air this the same night as the succession finale im so empty right now
Jeez, the snowflaky reactions of straight white men because not every single episode and narrative centres them - anything deviating from that priority is apparently "woke". Get over yourselves, you egomaniacal bigots.
Anyway, another great episode that nicely expanded Ellie's backstory - bonus points for the Mortal Kombat II appreciation, too :nerd:
What's with the bad votes it didn't even come out yet-
Edit: Fair enough.
Eda: "Don't worry, Lily. With this spell declared, I promise I'll be back."
Lilith: "That's not a spell, doesn't even rhyme."
Gus: [Muffled] "King? King, are you okay?"
The Collector: "You wanna play tag? I'm it."
The Collector: "We're gonna have a blast, everyone!"
King: "Luz, I am so happy I got to have you as a big sister."
"Girl Lost in Frogland Hoax?"

Hunter: [Text message] "LEAVE. ME ALONE"
Amity: "I'm not going anywhere with you!
[Amity takes Luz's rune.]
Amity: "...Either of you."
Luz: "Thank you for listening. I can't wait to pick flowers with you."
Eda: "I've got my eyes on you, Blight."

I wanted to see Sasha keep trying to apologise to Anne, but this works too.

Ooh. An episode centered around my favorite duo: Roy Mustang and Risa Hawkeye. It was interesting seeing them as naive idealists becoming weapons of mass murder becoming people who are just trying so hard to keep their humanity and fulfill their dreams in spite of all the crimes they have committed.
A beautiful tale of the price of glory and pressure society puts upon its greatest artists. But it is also a reminder to hold tight to those closest to you.

One of the most unhinged and insane season finales I have ever seen attempted in a KIDS SHOW????
Genuinely great, characters get their moments to shine, the plot goes into high gear, and the twists at the end of this episode setting up the final season are genuinely shocking.
A promising start. Like @deanzel I thought it started off pretty generic but it certainly ramped up and got interesting and a lot better. I also appreciated it being a double-length episode to take the time to establish things. Of the characters introduced thus far, they all seemed pretty likable. Having just seen Erased last season, it's interesting to see another series handling time travel again so soon, and no doubt it will draw comparisons to that series. And like Erased, it has the potential to handle the premise and mechanics well, or badly. Shame there's a fair amount of dodgy CG to be seen but hopefully the quality of the story will be enough to excuse that.
Still, a good first episode. Here's hoping it stays good. White Fox as a studio do have the potential to do very well when they're on point.
This series gave me such a sense of comfort and contentment. Especially during this quarantine, and I cannot experience campus life myself.
I am vaguely reminded of the line, "one must imagine Sisyphus happy." Anyway, I have no words for this episode, although it really resonated with me.
Now I see why this anime is rated as the best of all time. The story is just mind-boggling.
Mitsumata: "There are many who cherish you. Please do not forget that."

the game was so dramatic and i love it
I wish that they made the confrontation differ more from Vader and Ahsokas in Rebels.
That sure fizzled out at the end. Dramatic and exciting in parts, but I'm not sure that any of it made a bit of sense. Remember when these guys used to solve crimes?
Well .... I .. uh don't know how to say it but this was intense
I'm liking this feeling that this show gives off's. Ease and casualness of watching it. With the emphasize of adorable characters that we see on the screen.
Emotionally and visually appealing, this show is a great example of how to do a post-apocalyptic tale with children. It brings the charm from another anime that has not long since aired, 'Made In Abyss'. Having an atmosphere of everlasting chaos, it manages to lighten the mood with the innocent discovery of the two young characters as they traverse the old broken world around them. It leaves me feeling sad and happy that these two will not experience some things, yet, they are happy with each other and have fun finding new things. But with new discoveries come consequences. Which is where the series really shines. Having a darker side to an already undertoned tragic story. Really making you feel for the girls and wanting to continue with them on their tour of the land of before. From its large scale of landscapes, it still isolates you with the girls in this empty world. Still having myself engrossed in the experience though. Truly a great anime overall that really couldn't be told any other way. Which is what anime should be about.
how could a film that bases an entire storyline around a Ratatouille joke not be absolutely fantastic?
Well, that's left me hooked and wanting more. What a great show.
Initially I thought it was another "Cute Girls doing Cute Things" type of anime but half way through the show I changed my opinion. Both the story and the anime was impressive and really stood out. A lot of things were left unclear so I'm hoping for further seasons to come.
I would definitely recommend everyone to watch this.
Funniest movie I have seen in years. There is no way Dr Strange In the Multiverse of Madness is going to do multiverse better.
Yeah, there's plot holes. But the movie is so damned funny you just don't care. When they first explained how the multiverse thing worked my reaction was "Really? Is that all?". But it just got better and better and better.
There's periods of the movie you're struggling to breathe you're laughing so hard, and others that are just slow, deep, and sad. It's heartbreaking and hilarious. Slow and a thousand miles per hour. Nothing happening and more happening than you can possibly keep track of at once.
This movie is, without a doubt, brilliant.
Wow... This is such a great anime, too bad that it's underrated :(
Please give this anime a try if you have the time! One of the best animes I've ever seen tbh.
