Jeff: "Knock it off, Frankie is coming. What is important to you people?"
Abed: " 'Club club'. The last club I thought I'd ever join."
Man 1: "Hey there, Dean. New custodian."
Man 2: "Dean."
Man 3: "Dean."
Man 4: "Dean."
Man 5: "Dean."
Dean: "I'm sorry!"
Abed: "Where?"
**Annie: "I don't see anything."
Jeff: "There!"
Jeff: "What are you looking at?"
Dean: "This isn't a closet."

I just don't know about She-Ra, to be honest. There's a real maturity and warmth to the characterisation that's more or less at odds with the shallow, flighty nature of its plotting. The former creates expectations that the latter is constantly dashing, making for a very frustrating watch. There's so much to appreciate about its diversity, its performances, its design, its worldbuilding, its representation, but most of the time, those aspects just makes me wish the rest of the show was more worthy of them.
One of the best Community episodes.
Just loved every second of it
noelle said gays stay winning
If She-Ra Season 1's substance (logic, internal struggles, and clarity) was as strong as its texture (dialogue, character designs, and interactions) then I'd recommend this season. But with such a lacklustre season finale, I don't recommend it.
SCORE: 6/10
Another reboot with Seth McFarlane like animation is unnecessary when this show already was a funny reboot. The show finally made Fred interesting with him actually as the oddball of the group.
I strongly recommend watching this series on Netflix.
This is my favorite Christmas special from any series ever!
This show has nothing exceptional about it at all. It's pretty lame and cookie cutter. Disappointing.
YOU’RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.
…reveals that Ed’s pinwheel is taped to the ship’s upper deck, spinning slowly as the light disappears.
Personal favorite Bebop session!
SEE YOU COWGIRL,
SOMEDAY, SOMEWHERE!
Voir is a wildly inconsistent series. Sometimes, it's captivating and engages with big ideas or has something important to say. Other times? It wastes your time with shallow words and visuals. My rating for the season is an average because it is a mixed bag.
If you don't want to see it all, I recommend S1E2 "Ethics of Revenge" and S1E4 "The Duality of Appeal". The former breaks down what makes revenge stories work, and the latter describes a critical aspect of animation and consumer culture.
Avoid S1E1 at all costs.

"oh, bojack, no. there is no other side. this is it."
Yep, Community rediscovered its roots and returned to what it does best: genre parody.
Awesome.
For all the Slice of Life Genre fans, this is the one you must watch!!!!
Jeff: "No monologue for you. Give me your tie."
Abed: "We decided to re-enroll at Greendale."
Jeff: "Oh, don't blame it all on the gas leak year."
Troy: "But you're our hero. I mean, in the commercial..."
Jeff: "The commercial was a lie.:
Troy: "You staged a robot fight?!"
Jeff: "Yeah. In real life, the robot wins."Pierce: "Looks as if you've lost your way."
Jeff: "For how much money?"
Dean: "I, I can't offer you any money. I could offer you a job."
Jeff: "You just described slavery."Britta: "Are you trying to give us emotional whiplash?"
Annie: [Sighs.] "It's no fair Professor Cornwallis turned all hard-assed again."
"Give me some rope time me to dream."
Jeff: "Abed, you can't... Just give it back!"
Abed: "And this study group... has me."
Chang: "I'm out. I Chang'd my mind."
I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON BUT I LOVE THIS!
I saw the 2016 reboot yesterday and decided it was time to return to the original. Many people have slated the new film - it cant' match the original - it can't work with women - blah blah blah - etc. Guess what, the 1984 movie is not perfect. Its very much of its time, the special effects are variable, it isn't as funny as you remember. Return to the film and you might agree - we remember the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, the demon dogs, the library ghost - all with affection. But it is rose-tinted and not as good as remembered. For its time though, it is a good film, but it does not warrant the classic status that the 2016 Ghostbuster haters are making it out to be. There is room in the world for both movies and for the record... I kinda prefer the new film.
ed and ein, name a more iconic duo, i'll wait
"The Midnight Gospel" is a weird series. On the one hand, the animation is beautiful, abstract and imaginative. But on the other, the podcast philosophy talks are hard to focus on. I still hear the full conversations, but now and then, it sounds more like noise, and I let the animation carry me. It's an odd yet strangely relaxing series.
Spike: "Roco!"
Clancy: "Rondo, what are you doing?!"
Computer: "Isn't it odd you can never see your own eyes?"
Clancy: "Yep."
Clancy: "Captain Bryce, you dead?"
Captain Bryce: [Singing.] "If a patch is coloured tan. Then your eyes will melt."
Captain Bryce: "Destiny calls but once in a lifetime!"
Clancy: "Uh..."
Clancy: "You failed asshole!"
Computer: "Have fun."
**Clancy: "Shut up!"Clancy: "The moment I just accepted where I was, instead of wishing I was somewhere else, everything just got better."
David: "If you're caught up in your story, it's like living in a tiny apartment with just enough room for you and your little mattress. The moment you get a little space between yourself and your thoughts, it's like moving into a much bigger house. Then there's room to invite people in. There's space for you. And there's space for them. That's spaciousness."
Notes
Bird: "He bit his own tongue off, like, three years ago. But you could interview me. I'm his soul bird."
Bird: "And the Nepalese merge them both to create this, psychedelic Megazord—"
Clancy: "A what?"
Bird: "Like a... Like a... What's that called in 'Power Rangers'?"
Clancy: "Oh, okay, cool. Damn it. God. I'm glad it's 'Power Rangers', but I was praying that you had just added to my lexicon... ...of some fucking new spiritual term called Megazord."
Review:
I still don't know what they're saying half the time but that was friggin' spiritual—holy crap.
I am very excited for this "Hawkeye" Disney+ series. Ever since "Avengers: Age of Ultron", I actually liked Jeremy Renner's character. Unfortunately, this episode didn't do it for me.
The flashback at the start was cool. It tells us about both Kate Bishop's relationship with her parents and why she wanted to become a hero in the first place.
Then there are Clint's bits where he's trying to live a normal life amongst glossy musicals, giddy fans, and restaurant owns who treat him like a saint.
But none of this is really in the forefront: instead, we get some underground crime plot with action that is overly edited and some familiar family drama that, at the moment, has very little depth.
Overall, I'm not impressed but hopefully, after our protagonists meet, the ball will finally start rolling.
Pretty sweet for a first episode back. Reminded me why I like Mob as a character so much :)
Nice little segway episode here. It covered a good deal of the slower build-up material from the manga and basically sets up the last couple episodes as just EPIC BANGERS (trust me on this one). My body is so riddy for this last part. Mob is gonna Mob so hard with a special appearance by the "legend" himself as well.
Against all odds, Netflix's "Arcane" pulls off an incredible feat. Through stunning animation, competent storytelling, and a heartbreaking score, the series paints a tragic world. It's full of loss and hardship. It deals with themes like progress, time, and civil war. But in the middle of this civil unrest is a tale about betrayal and sisterhood.
I'm ashamed I enjoyed this series less than others, but maybe after a rewatch, my mind will clear. If there's one thing I'm confident about, it's the series' visuals. Continuing the trend born from "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse", "Arcane" is 3D animated with a 2D aesthetic. The studio designed its characters this way, and it overlays 2D elements as well. If there's one reason to recommend this series, I assure you it's because of the visuals.
"Arcane" reminds us that our world is fractured. There are no "good guys" or "bad guys", simply those who are more fortunate and those who are just trying to get by. But it's difficult for both to create positive change, and this show displays that with grace and finesse.
Btw, Caitlyn is my favourite character. Don't @ me :P
