The Bikeriders

I enjoyed the movie thoroughly as will any fan of Sons of Anarchy or Mayans MC television series.

The movie is based on a real book by photojournalist Danny Lyon who spent four years as a member of The Outlaws MC, the movie tells the fictional story of The Vandals MC through interviews with the wife of an Vandal.

In looking up information after getting home, while fictionalized many events in the movie were inspired by actual events and people.

The Outlaws are still an active MC with 441 chapters in 43 countries and are considered one of the Big Four MC.

Ezra

Don't understand why this has the low ratings. I found it to be a heartwarming story of redemption, growth, and healing of the three main male leads (Bobby C., Robert D., and the young actor playing the titular Ezra - William Fitzgerald). Great performance by Bobby Cannavale, decent performance turned in by DeNiro - not his best nor his worst. Good supporting performances by Rose Byrne, Vera Farmiga, Whoopi Goldberg, and Rainn Wilson.

Babes

An entertaining female buddy comedy movie with a lot of humor about motherhood. Won't win any awards but entertaining and a good watch. I laughed out loud several times in the theater.

Very fast, very violent. Enjoyed the twist though I should have seen it coming . Very arcade game type feel.

Sting

A meh creature horror movie, that doesn't break any new ground, other creature horror movies have done this better. Predictable ending. Wait a few months and this will be streaming on Shudder.

Wicked Little Letters

A British dramedy that started off slow but built to a predictable well-acted laugh-filled ending.

Enjoyable watch.

One Life

What an incredible piece of work, a must-see tour de force by Sir Anthony Hopkins in the portrayal of Sir Nicholas Winston, one of the people behind the evacuation of children (known as the Kindertransport) from Czechoslovakia immediately preceding the Nazi invasion.

Very emotionally powerful, many tears in viewers eyes including mine.

Entertaining movie, suspend your beliefs as a lot of things are left unanswered or implausible and just enjoy the movie.

Where the Devil Roams

93 minutes I can't get back, wtf did I just watch? When your three leads are also the dhrectors it's either going to be great or what you've got here. At times a poetry teading, a music video at other times. It's all over the place kinda like this review. Might be better high or on acid.

Sound of Freedom

Well acted (by a Q-anon nut job actor), based on real person and events (barely), piece of MAGA right wing conservative trash, nonetheless an entertaining/horrifying watch on a horrible subject.

Going Overboard

Even gratuitous nudity couldn't have redeemed this piece of :poop:.

Otherwise, I whole heartedly agree with the other reviewer who said this film should be watched as punishment.

Adam Sandlers’s absolutely worst movie ever. 0/10.

The Inflicted

Got this movie from my local library; it was titled “Bundy Reborn”. The best part of the movie was the description of it on the DVD case and when the credits finally rolled.

Bad acting, bad dialogue, bad effects, horrible production; the talents of Doug Bradley, Sid Haig, and Bill Moseley were wasted, and couldn't even redeem this piece of :poop:.

Takes its place as one of the five worst movies I've ever seen. 0.5/10

I imagine (as I have only seen this one) that Matthan Harris's movies, which he writes, produces, and acts in should be a master class in what not to do in a horror movie.

It's a Wonderful Knife

Attending another $5 :pound_symbol:RegalMysteryMovie

The movie was “It’s a wonderful knife”, starring Jane Widdop and Jess McLeod and featuring Joel McHale and Justin Long.

The movie was not meant to be anything but a Shudder-produced rated R horror version of “It's a Wonderful Life” with a dash of LGBTQIA+ Hallmark movie thrown in.

Decent kills, humor, and throwbacks to “It's a Wonderful Life” made it an enjoyable evening at the movies.

Too much unnecessary juvenile comedy. The whole scene with Zeus and the other gods was cringeworthy and I almost turned it off then.

Retribution

Saw this as part of the :pound_symbol:RegalMysteryMovie tonight.

It was a decent action flick with good pacing and drama. Some unbelievable moments but overall a fun 90+ minutes of Liam Neeson doing what he does best in these types of movies.

My girlfriend who doesn't like a lot of violence and shooting enjoyed it too.

Just saw the movie as part of the Regal Mystery Movie. A decent Gerard Butler action movie but it's formulaic and has been done better even by himself. Check out in the theater if you see all of his movies otherwise wait for a home release of the movie.

My girlfriend said it reminder her of a 1990s video game.
