The hesitancy of Jeff while giving his number to Claire got me curious. He was leaving his number to the fridge guy at the beginning of this episode as 773-555-0901. He told Claire as 0902. A sad tiny detail.
So this is basically Guardians of The Galaxy, with a robot instead of Groot, a kid instead of raccoon, and the girl is not green. 8 Starlords out of 10.
Young Poppy.. best casting ever? What a performance by her!
What a freaking beautiful show with intelligent dialogues, brilliant humor and verve.
And almost no one seems to know it. Of course. That's what I thought. Busy watching shallow superhero stuff, I guess. Open your eyes for the real gems, people.
I always thought I couldn't enjoy any movie /tv series where female characters are protagonist's. [Cough] She- Hulk [/cough] and thought something is wrong with me for not being able to enjoy stuff with women lead. Now I know there is nothing wrong with me , its just that I look for quality content.
Mizu and akemi are the best written character I have seen in a long time. Now we know how to write a strong female characters without insulting male characters.
I'm one of those guys that loves the Uncharted games, and I was really excited when I heard about this movie. Then the cast and director were announced and...well...let's say my expectations weren't all that high when I sat down in my seat.
I ended up being a little surprised. Sure...the CGI is not really up to par, and there were, of course, some things I wanted to see, but didn't, but all in all, I came out at the end pretty satisfied.
A live action version of any video game will have to be quite different from the source material, and that makes the job for the writers and directors rather hard. I think Ruben Fleischer, and his people, solved this pretty good. They made it a bit more adventurish, and less violent, but it worked.
These kinds of movies will never be high art, but Uncharted were nonetheless an OK couple of hours in the cinema.
In episode 7, Carmy was an asshole to Sydney and Marcus, but they also were assholes to him. It was kinda lame that they put all the guilt at him and stayed quiet while he apologizes.
At least Sean Bean did not die!!
I like how the titles now include other colors LOL
And Patrick's spanish was actually pretty good, that's my native language so I should know.
I definitely want to be Carmy when in reality, I'm Richie and this episode helped me realize that. I don't think I would've said Richie was my favorite character before but I feel like this episode showed me that he is. I went through all the emotions with him on this one. He needs to be protected at all costs.
The animation and sound design is really good, much better than same time release onimusha
So much better than 'invasion' pilot
Person worth 2050s SPYNE is the one going back.
when they know even a future bullet won't go back in time.
If they are not going to make season 3 then I am not preordering Poppy’s new game :triumph:
Wow! Totally surprised by it.
They have studied "Dark" really good, the show was truly fantastic. An exception story crafted throught out all the periodes, a very tight script, really they managed to close and give answers to almost everything. This for a Netflix show is a must see for all the timer-traveller fans.
It also managed to do a proper "destroy the loop" and what happens to the characters as perfect as Dark Did. Charles was my favorite, the little girl those only 10 minutes of appearance stole the spotlight. The music was great and the direction was also good.
Of course lets all pray that Netflix will not salvage on the show and realize that this was a mini-series and not give a second season.
So yes about the last 2 minutes, you can skip them so it will not ruin you the story. There are only there in case of netflix's greedy, read it below:
From an article:
It’s a door left open, according to Bodies showrunner Paul Tomalin, simply there to give the story somewhere to go in a potential second series. Should Netflix decide to renew Bodies, then that mini-cliffhanger would be the first step on that journey. in short – they’d finished the story but wanted to justify a potential return if Netflix commissioned one, so it was tacked on
“TILL IT’S OVER” :((( I never expected them to give us a continuation to last episode so this was a great surprise and follow up!
I love the way this show is expanding the boundaries of what a comedy show can be!
And you know I get both CW and Peter’s perspective, if I was CW I would feel left out and hurt and I would also put some distance; and I also get Peter’s side that not because they were dating it meant they were no longer CW’s friends or they stopped being the “tripod” but it seems like CW only loved Anne a certain way.
So if they gave us a continuation to this story, can they give us one to ADQD???? PLEASE I’M BEGGING
So she just blew her sister factory for being told the absolute truth?
Not even Fung Hai is that evil.
Dani Rojas in da house! Wow, nice surprise!
This season could have been an email, which should have gone straight to the spam box. What a disappointment!
This one episode has more creative thinking than any other full series/movies I have watched. Best part is all the creative stuff happen in background . Its somewhat similar to 'Hells Paradise' anime.
Now I know, why Season 4 sucked, coz there was no Colin Robinson or energy vampire stuff going on.
no background music for most of the episode and only realistic sounds are used, while it may be correct way to do it. It just removes the FUN out of action and comedy genre of the show and made it into boring documentary.
Mr & mrs smith both a very much unlikeable characters
Well, well, well, finally, a decently long episode to sink our teeth into. But it isn't all sunshine and rainbows.
The episode meanders aimlessly for the most part, leaving me wondering what the point of it all is. However, all is not lost! After what feels like an eternity, we finally get some much-needed plot movement.
This episode had its ups and downs but kept me on my toes. And for the first time in a couple of episodes, I was left wanting more after the credits rolled. And that's a good sign!
With Milo back in the fray, there's hope that the season will end on a high note. So, in conclusion, while this episode did a lot of things right, it was an unusual episode that adds to an already underwhelming season.
Also, who's Terry?
02x08 - Santa Jesus: 6.9/10 (It Gets the Job Done, Slightly Flawed)
One doesn't become guardian by just spelling the name guardian right. Hands down , this is one of the best episodes I have seen.
This was okay - a typical action flick, but there were some poor choices made by everyone involved with this movie.
Namely, the ending. Now wtf was that?
Anyone interested in watching a movie about finding treasure wants them to find treasure and make it big time at the end - whoever decided it was a good idea to go with this nonsensical ending should be fired.
If they just waited until Jo left the island before going to the actual hiding place she never would have seen them and they never would have given the actual location away. They could have gotten away with all of their treasure instead of CRASHING THE BOATS AND SINKING IT INTO THE OCEAN. It made no sense at all - especially since both characters wanted to find the treasure and Sully had been looking for it for a long time.
I just can't wrap my head around the decision to take that route. This could have been a great show.
This was the first film I saw in theaters since like.. 2019 so the excitement of the big screen still made the movie enjoyable, but if I watched this at home I probably would have turned it off.
When I sit back and think about the episode, on paper it's really good lot of mysteries and revelation which create new mysteries exactly my cup of tea. But when I am watching the episode it feels like a watered down tea which lacks flavor not able to point out why.....:(
So was the premise from the last episode that the girl was starting to trust Chief? Until they punished her? I’m confused, or was they the plan all asking to get his trust?
Would have been good too see how Kai survived the crash lol lazy writing, they keep making these soldiers invincible. Why wouldn’t she just jump out last minute seeing as they can drop from planes way higher.
By far my favorite character is Kai
So now doctor Halsey survives a crash too lol.
Cant the Blessed One not see she’s just being used? I mean the humans would do the same thing but at least she’d have a better view lol
how did i not see the clone thing coming for Doctor Halsey
Oh yea lets leave the top enemies alone that makes since :man_facepalming_tone3:
Anyway the show is ok. Im not coming from a die hard Halo fanbase so i like it more than the majority. We will see how the next season does.
