Destiny is all.
Sad to see the show end but it was a great run.
These ladies are HILARIOUS! I really enjoyed watching this. I laughed out loud a whole bunch of times and really love the actors in these particular roles. I can already see several long-term quotable lines coming from it. Chris Hemsworth was also a riot.
While it's probably technically a remake, this movie has its own original plot and its own original characters. I'm glad for that. I loved the nods to the original without (always) hitting you over the head with it. Keep an eye out for some old friends.
Having said that, the movie does drag a bit around the 2/3 mark before kind of getting its mojo back for the finale. And make sure you stick around through the credits (which go by surprisingly quickly)!
There are going to be people who will hate this no matter what. But don't pre-judge this movie based on the trailer. Give it a chance and you may laugh as hard as I did.
I can see it over and over again! One of the best movies I ever seen.
this movie had a lot going against it before it even released, with people complaining about the lack of racial diversity and historical inaccuracy, which makes no sense considering its a fantasy movie set in a fictional version of Egypt. yes, its by no means an epic blockbuster, but its nowhere near as bad as some people are making it out to be. personally i thought it was good.
Drawing from a near perfect body of work, Ratatouille is my favourite Pixar film.
Patton Oswalt, a self confessed lover of fine food, brings such credibility to Remy that I can't imagine his words passing another actors lips. With his every lament in the kitchen you can almost smell every ingredient and it never fails to make me salivate.
The great Peter O'Toole is masterful in his contempt and condescension as food critic Anton Ego, which makes the pay off all the more moving.
Director Brad Bird's (The Iron Giant, The Incredibles) vision of Paris is gorgeous and Michael Giacchino's Oscar nominated score brings it to life.
More physical with its comedy than other Pixar films, it is a testament to the skill of the animators as it is all key framed, not motion captured.
More than just an ode to kitchen artisans, Ratatouille is about seeing through convention and letting nothing stand in the way of your dreams.
Now excuse me, I must away to the kitchen, I feel a dish coming on.
Fantastic
A great end to the show, loved the feast hall scene at the end.
DESTINY IS ALL
Watching this again 10 years later. Many things happened since, lots of tv shows came and went. Still this episode hold its place as one of the greatest season finale ever.
A fitting end, very enjoyable. Just like the tv series, same quality just in a movie, what’s not to like!
Final scene in the feast hall was a great end
I would really love to see Ratatouille 2
This movie is an unmissable gem https://youtu.be/NBdRQo-OaGg
Definitely one of the most inspirational and well produced shows of it's time. It helped pave the way for the rest of science fiction. It's incredibly slowpaced but I'd suggest at least watching a few episodes!
Nice little movie with a bit of fun here and there. McBride was awesome
Includes the now-legendary comedy gem of Ted attempting to explain perspective to Dougal.
Simply brilliant.
Definitely campy, and the autotuned vocals aren't always on spot, but Jane Lynch adds just the right about of insane humor to this show. The plots are ridiculous and sometimes hard to care about, but it makes good background watching.
A classic TV comedy. Nothing spectacular, but a fun watch with an interesting premise and great one liners. Worth a mindless watch every once in a while.
What a weird way to end it.
I just started watching this and had to stop mid-episode because of the emotions it was invoking in me. I was 14 when this show premiered. It truly impacted me as a tv lover.
Why can't people take things for face value? Absolutely awesome movie. Great special effects, predictable but satisfying story, and fun action scenes. Stop being so critical and enjoy the damn movie!
Season 2 was a huge surprise for me. I liked season 1 and how we got to know the characters and the world which they live in. Season 2 is far less action-oriented and focus on bringing more dramatic weight to the story and characters. This is a development to the show which I absolutely love and I can't wait to see where this is going in season 3.
