Angels and Demons falling in love. About as thought provoking as a Hallmark Channel special.
Too much interpersonal drama. Not enough mystery. Not a good British crime drama anymore. Too Americanised. Actors are good. Crap story.
Since the departure of Emily Rossum (even a few seasons before) the writing and plot lines have lost their humor. This show was really good in the first few seasons, but over time the writing became more “woke” gospel and less jokes and punchlines. This show ceased being a comedy and light hearted entertainment. It became a series of Politically Correct vignettes. Bad production.
The editors and writers know nothing about Chicago and they stopped filming altogether there. People who live in Chicago saw all the inaccuracies. Insulting to the third biggest city in the US.
Seems like Katherine Parkinson's agent signed her up for this and she phoned in every minute. First few episodes were as awful as the pandemic. Not funny. Prizes were shit. Banter was shit. Hard to watch comics being held against their will. Picked up after 4-5 episodes.
MODERATION EDIT: Be respectful.
Season one was great. Stearns was a great personality to focus on. Season 2 has a different feel. Instead of finding a business that the billionaires want to start, they just stick to their business playbooks. Disappointing.
Madeleine Sami is virtually unwatchable. Decent mystery. Shame one actor can ruin everything.
Rubbish. Playing to an American audience.
