This series is getting better with each episode! :)
It's really confusing at first. Lots of characters to introduce, lots of background story and lore you have to learn... and too many short scenes intertwined, so you have to keep track of a few storylines at the same time. Plus, they made up the mandatory bunch of words, just like in any other space sci-fi show , which also doesn't help. Specially if you choose to watch it in English but it's not your native language.
Anyway, don't let the beginning discourage you. If you get past the first half of the episode, it gets way less difficult to follow, and the plot (or rather, some of the many plots) get really interesting.
I'm familiar with the character of Lupin, and I LOVE THIS. Omar Sy is as charming as ever, and he's definitely in his element here. Cannot wait to see where this show goes, I'm already hooked!
I don't get why people love this episode. It has great visuals and the world is intriguing, but there is no story. A banal episode of two outcasts coming together and insta love out of sheer loneliness. I would love to see what they could do with a feature length though.
Oh man, first there was the Arrow’s bunker, then STAR Labs appeared. Even a time ship made its way through the Arrowverse. It took a while, but Supergirl finally has a bunker of its own, I’m excited about this!
I missed Jeremy Jordan! Winn is part of the soul of this show. Despite the questionable treatment the writers did to his character, the show weakened a bit when he left.
I shipped him with Kara at some point, but his friendship with the group is heartwarming. And the way he helped Nia, smart way to bond two characters apparently strangers to each other.
I really despise cross-over episodes in superhero tv shows. I don't watch the other shows for a reason but they keep following me around ugh. Only thing worse than corny cross-overs is cringey musical episodes. Cross-overs prove that the underlying storyline of a series doesn't matter because it can just be overlooked just to bring in other characters from their shows, there's just no substance and it's all about everyone dropping corny one-liners. I've had it with this show, I really liked it but this is the last straw. There's no way I can sit through a five part cross-over with characters from shows that I don't like and have no interest in watching. Disappointing.
Wow, Katie Mcgrath is really killing it as Lena.
The J'onn scenes were also good.
What a mess of a season, only to come back to where they should have started at the end of season 1. Burnam's character still needs serious development, which isn't impossible. Big effects need to be reduced, refined and reality checked for impact and immersion. By the looks of it, they're going to keep fighting until the series either breaks definitively or grinds down into an actual star trek series. Either way I think we're going to be stuck with it for a while
You can tell Netflix has put money into this season :ok_hand:
Love the way they get the old characters to do cameos and Dee Snyder was fantastic
I suspect that Section 31 might still exist and one of it's members is the guy that "interviewed" Philippa Georgiou.
The peacemakers have returned! It's good to see Star Trek Discovery getting back to the franchise's roots.
Better than the last episode, but still not really feeling it. Not sure what it is, but this doesn't feel like Star Trek to me. Hmm
What beautiful cinematography! Looked stunning. Really like the new universe they're setting up, well future one.
Love seeing the entire 1983 Cobra Kai crew all back again. Excellent episode!
I cant stand any of them xD
So i don't watch it :)
It's such a good show with real honest human interactions. I love it.
The Cobra Kai guy plays the stuck-in-the-past and down-on-his-luck part really well. I actually can’t believe how good this show is. Really cool extension of the first movie with nostalgic nods in all the right spots.
"What is grief, if not love persevering?"
Wasn't she called "Scarlet Witch" before?
She has been listed as such since Age of Ultron, hardly a big reveal. Kind of weird that another witch had to do all this stuff just to find it out, considering how much media attention Wanda already had...
So we had a 40 minute workup to, well nothing (new)...
The whole Episode feels like a "we need a villain so we can continue to use wanda as a hero"
The confrontation between Wanda and Geraldine is eerie and menacing. And when the neighbours are gossiping about something they don't want to let Vision know; I became quite scared for Vision.
Wanda scares me.
TECHNICAL SCORE: 7/10
ENJOYMENT SCORE: 7.5/10
Ok this is getting interesting and I am very intrigued to know what is going on... Wanda asking Vision "is this really happening" and then her going back in time to recreate the moment with a different ending makes me think this is all her creation... Unable to cope with Vision's loss, it seems she is trying to create an alternative world where she can be with him
The arguing scene between Fitz and Simmons was so good.
Andy and Lorna returning home was, by far, the best scene of the whole season. Average episode, as this season got us used to, but that ending was emotionally powerful and very satisfying.
ITS LADIES NIGHT one of the funniest episodes ever
Now I can’t wait to see next week’s episode.
"Where is your aarmy now, Jedi ?" - now that was a cool moment.
Still, the plan was a bit stupid. It cost too much and they was to much risk involved that they may loose. But it was a nice action sequence and seeing the wolfs deal with the stormies was great.
This episode was really epic!
We've reached the beginning of the end.
Was that Kanan speaking through the Force or is it just a massive coincidence to Lothwolf has the name Dume also ?
