full offense but the people who are just now complaining that the show has become "political propaganda" are dumb as fuck. what were you watching the past three seasons. the season 2 nazi villain was named stormfront...it was never subtle. cope
For a show about the futur, taking old NFT as the plot not really feel futuristic or even curent.
If you’re not into it after the first 10 minutes, just turn it off, because you’re not going to like it.
It’s a true musical in every sense of the world: everything is extremely (melo)dramatic, and it’s filled with as much overacting and oversinging as you’d expect.
If that’s your thing, this is for you, I really commend Lin Manuel Miranda and Andrew Garfield for going all the way.
But to me it just screams as tacky and inauthentic, there’s a fairytale quality about it that makes me feel icky.
The way it tries to force emotion onto you by spelling out the feelings of every character isn’t very artful, in my opinion.
I was kinda surprised to see Black Thought show up, which is probably the highlight of the film for me, being a fan of The Roots.
It still works well enough, and proves the character can work in a PG-13 world, but the film is neutered and you can feel it. So it's still fun, just not AS fun. Though the added segments with Fred Savage are pure gold. It's an oddity that's just testing the waters to open up the character to wider audience.
If you watched the trailer and thought “this looks kinda bad” then you my friend would be correct. Sadly it was in the cards that this movie would be bad. Yet I still wanted to indulge myself. Movie felt like something that could’ve been on Netflix. On a positive the monsters were creative and well designed.

Overrated, but watchable. Good end.
I thought exactly the same. The movie isn't bad, but not the best.
7/10
Taking a break from calling everybody I disagree with politically an oversensitive easily offended snowflake so I can cry about how the offensive superhero TV show is making fun of me.
Well I've given this 4 episodes and I still can't really say I'm enjoying the series or any of the characters that much. They just don't hold a candle to the original cast imo, and a fair few are just downright unlikable.
I don't think the series did itself any favors by having more or less the same name, uniforms etc as the original. I would say it would be better to try something/somewhere different entirely but they already did that (Servant x Service) and that wasn't particularly well received either.
Rest in peace Potato Girl :potato:
One of the most anxiety-inducing horror movies I've ever watched. The film teases and builds throughout its runtime until it implodes in horrendous and glorious fashion. A must watch for horror fans.
Holy crap what an overrated film.
This episode is an improvement over the first episode. There's a dark sense of humor running throughout. The con-man grave digger Masson is played wonderfully by David Hewlett. If you have a fear of rats, you should avoid this. The giant rat, which appeared to be a great practical effect, reminded me of the vermin present in Stephen King's Graveyard Shift. I enjoyed the monster aspects of this story once again. The claustrophobic tunnels that Masson had to wriggle through was effective and it added to the no-escape scenario that I knew was going to occur. The rats exiting Masson's mouth was a well done gross-out, reminiscent of the final moment in the Creepshow (1982 movie) segment "They're Creeping Up On You". You know...the one with the cockroaches.
That episode was far better than the first, hope the rest are as good.
At worst a blatant self-congratulation without any real substance. A commercial at best.
