I grew up during this disaster and really had no idea how devastating and corrupt it was. I'm glad I watched so I have a better insight. I really enjoyed Chernobyl's mini series so this was right up my alley.
Just amazing and lives upto it's expectations but not as great as season 1 has some boring mid parts like with sasha backstory, etc.
But the adaptation was really well done, I read manga way early and all of details were adapted accurately + the bgm, my god.
I will forever remember scenes such as Finding out Reiner and Bertholdt's identity, final battle, finale scene, etc. just because how well they were made with perfectly damn suited background scores.
Can't wait for the final showdown with Colossal titan and Armored titan which takes place in Season 3.
Reveal it only if u read S3 manga! You've been warned! Also Levi slicing up the Ape titan and his Uncle Kenny, can't wait to watch those parts animated. NEED AN ADAPTATION ASAP!
Thid could easily be on "Explained". I was not able to watch it on one shot.
One of the most underrated show on Netflix. I have no words to explain how marvellous this series is.
Great cliffhanger to a great episode. Part 3 will continue in 2023 and I'm looking forward to it.
That damn soundtrack choice at the end. Ooh boy.
No such thing exist as a noble goal for war. Just pointless deaths and crimes.
1st half and 2nd half of episode worked really well on it's own. Second one was better drawn for sure. Anime made Rumbling ten times more horrifying with their movements and vaporizing heat.
But I'm still kinda in favor of leaving ch. 123 where it was in timeline. Lightheartedness of it worked better when future atrocities at the end of the chapter were implied, but not yet committed by Eren.
Won't probably see how Mappa will end it all in 2023...
I'm happy for people of freeworld that going to see this antiwar masterpiece of a saga coming to an end. Хуй войне!
Oh boy I hate them so much. Why did they have to give Sasha more screen time. I literally miss that potato girl. This episode was pretty much retrospective and showed us what happened and why Eren made his decision.
It's not surprising since all he sees in Marleyans is hatred and anger, which he wants to remove from the world.
Mikasa tells us, what if she told him something entirely different than that he is a family to her. Although from Steins;Gate, I know it wouldn't end well. Or rather that the events would be entirely different but who knows.
Another thing.
After I saw the attack titan (which has the creepiest form of all titans) all I have to say that the wall titans look pretty cute compared to him ngl. No wonder they were scared s*itless.
I really can't wait to see the final arc. This is going to be it so be prepared for the ultimate season, although I wonder how many episodes we will get.
Good seeing "old Mikasa" back in action
We waited 9 years for some of our favorite characters to fully let go & unleash, and boy they did fucking deliver. And such a great job by MAPPA with the animation!
Well... what an ending.
The Talk scene was nearly perfect and also hurt me in all the right ways. Could have being even more mean-spirited if Mappa left in the meanest jabs at Armin - "You weren't soft like this before. Your judgment always led us to an answer... But now, all you can say is, "let's talk"... You're absolutely useless." and Mikasa - "What I'm saying is that the REAL Mikasa disappeared in that mountain cabin, at 9-years old. Leaving only you behind, ever faithful <..> slave:

Thank god Mappa cut the host talk, through. It was confusing as hell and naturally fans blow it out of proportions even more. It was a mess. I didn't know one could make the scene where Mikasa holds Armin down even more heartbreaking than it was in the manga, but they managed it somehow.
Levi vs Zeke part alot 3
The good. Well, the good parts were great actually. Voice acting, it was as emotional as the Talk, I enjoyed some creative shots of the fight, hell even funny parts from the manga were left in hooray!
The bad. Good god who the hell choose this song?! No, a song with lyrics in general and it was playing so loud... ugh. Music didn't add anything to the moment. WIT did amazing job animating Levi's fight scenes and Mappa is no match in that regard. Some shots that looked creative tried to hide lack of powerful moments, but ultimately heavy burden was put on the voice actors to carry the scene (but they did a great job anyway). Also feels like Levi had more expression during all of it in the manga. Regardless, it was the first fight in season 4 that didn't meet my personal expectations which is kinda worrisome for the part 2 of Season 4... well, we will see I guess.
Btw, the "censorship steam" is back baby! WIT couldn't be more proud looking at the scene of Zeke's injuries ;)

Not yet shown ending
Who knows. If they switched back to a different storyline after the fight like it happened in the manga overall impression of the episode would dip, imho. BUT if they didn't and ended it where I think they would... oh boy, I think a lot of flaws could be forgotten just for this bold move.
As a giant sidenote.
It does feels like Ackerman's lore is retconned somewhat in anime.
I assumed that the previously cutted info would be used in The Talk scene by Eren. But not only nothing was added to it, some info from the Talk scene was cut short on the lore, too.
It started back in season 3 with unimportant hints getting cut. Like Zeke calling Levi a monster:

Before the attack on Marley we had Zeke explaining why they should be extra careful with the future attack on Paradise island. And he mentions Ackerman clan as byproduct of titan science:

Which also sort of explains why Porco specifically called Levi "Ackerman" in that moment.
In The Talk we get even more detailed and over explained to be honest description of their power:
"A bloodline that could partly manifest the strength of a titan while in human form."

End of my essay)
Can someone die out of sheer excitement?!?! What an episode!!
Oh it was litttt let’s goooo!!!
What an episode. Suspenseful from start to finish! AoT is full of them and this one goes right alongside them.
A perfect episode!!
I waited months for this, I was so excited! But I guess my expectations were too high... Since sadly enough it turned out to be a bunch of meh... ! It was alright...
I am speechless, I really don't know what to say, this was one of the best episodes I have ever watched. I just can't hold my tears of our loss in this episode, it was very emotional...
Not to mention that I literally jumped screaming from the surprise at the last battle. Bottom line, this episode was EPIC!
BEST F*CKING EPISODE EVER. There wasn't a moment of peace. Every minute was pure action. The stakes were never this high.
My god, I loved this one.
Press F my fellow scouts.
Ab-so-lutly perfect, this season is keeping me on the edge of my seat. It was already a while ago I was so eagerly waiting for a next episode on any show.
A week just has to many hours in it... :(
I swear to God if they don't get that syringe over to Armin ASAP I'm going to riot.
Probably the best episode of this season
God damn, I fucking love Levi. So badass. Armin with the ultimate sacrifice. RIP. What An amazing episode.
This episode was definitely different! Weird style and storytelling, and it is a little bit confusing. On the other hand, who is that man at the end? Is that Erin's father, I am kinda lost???
Levi smiling was the cherry on top of this episode.
As huge batman fan this movie is best live action batman i ever seen.i enjoyed every second of it. I understand some people don't like it cuz they never seen this side of batman in previous live action.
To me this movie is like reading a comic book . I love it!
It wallows too much in its own darkness, and once again the writers of Batman and superhero movies flaunt their poor grasp of realpolitik. But that's not the purpose of this movie and any superhero movie's. So just stock up on snacks and wallow along. Because it's damn fun wallowing. And everyone is so damn good. What's more, Batman is returned to his detective roots.
