Best Movie quote:
"If we are alone in the Universe, it sure seems like an awful waste of space."
Seven Samurai can only be described as magical piece of art.
Don't let the 210 minute tag on the movie scare you. It is worth the ride and experience.
Each samurai has a distinguished trait which makes them memorable and allows the audience to form a bond with them
The cinematography is simply outstanding especially when it comes to the scenes that include rain.
An easy to comprehend plot with thrilling action scenes is also what adds to the appeal of Seven Samurai.
Depicts the Japanese culture and relation between Samurai and Farmers in the 1600s.
Memorable movie quotes:
* This is the nature of war: By protecting others, you save yourselves. If you only think of yourself, you'll only destroy yourself.
* Danger always strikes when everything seems fine.
Terrifyingly awesome without being cheesy and too predictable.
The protagonists are fighting a shark which has no super powers.
The suspense and thrills are well crafted and not over exaggerated.
There is only 1 major jump scare which is perfect in my book.
A recommended and well paced thriller!
I just discovered that Stop-motion and gothic themed movies are not my thing.
Although I did enjoy the music throughout the movie.
I might give this movie another shot but for now it sits at a 6 for me.
A classic ageless gem that should be watched at least once a year.
Frank Capra regarded this film as his own personal favorite and it was also James Stewart's favorite.
This is one of the few movies that I can easily give a perfect 10 for all the emotions it brought forward.
If someone asks me for a classic to watch I will blindly tell them "It's a Wonderful Life"
Awesome quote from the movie:
Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he?
A hilarious, fun and dramatic Christmas movie.
By reading the synopsis, I had very low expectations for the movie but boy was I wrong.
The movie will make you shed tears for its laughter and drama moments.
Seeing Will Ferrell dressed up as an elf alone was hilarious.
The story is solid with a couple of subplots which converge well.
Elf is one the best Christmas movies and will surely become a classic in the near future.
A Christmas movie that shouldn't be on your top list.
If you have a long list of Christmas movies to go through, I recommend that you take this to your bottom list as it is superseded by other high quality movies.
I am going to quote what Roger Ebert said as it pinpoints the exact state of the movie:
quote “Scrooged” is one of the most disquieting, unsettling films to come along in quite some time. It was obviously intended as a comedy, but there is little comic about it, and indeed the movie’s overriding emotions seem to be pain and anger. This entire production seems to be in dire need of visits from the ghosts of Christmas."

A powerful, magical, and touching Christmas Movie which makes it into my favourite Christmas-Theme movies of all time.
This is a remake of the 1947 version.
The cast is great and the plot captures the heart of what makes Christmas such a special season.
There are several heart-warming scenes and some powerful quotes such as:
"If you can't believe, if you can't accept anything on faith, then you're doomed for a life dominated by doubt."
I have not seen the 1947 version, but many critics are claiming that it was perfect and this remake managed to capture a portion of the magic from the previous movie. I have yet to judge this.
The movie is recommended for all the family of all ages.
A good family movie but not one my best Christmas movies.
The movie lacked an interesting plot and it just flowed from start to end without any form of climax.
The movie does bring back fond memories of events which you might have experienced yourself as a child.
From the director of Requiem for a Dream and PI comes another powerful and earth shattering movie.
Smart and profoundly moving film that deals with eschatology, metaphysics, and love.
You will want to watch this several times.
Cinematography:
It is one of the movies strongest points.
Score:
Deeply affecting, Transcendent, Melancholy that will last for quite sometime on your playlist.
Cast:
Superb performance by Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz.
I know that Jackman excels in almost every role but Rachel Weisz was equally fantastic.

So just to see how exceptional this movie was:
Until Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), this was the only sequel to win an Academy Award when the previous installment(s) received no nomination.
Terminator 2 is one of my favorite action movies of all time and here is why:
Stunning and Unique:
Electrifying Movie (Not quite my tempo !)
One of the best movie quotes:
There are no two words in the English language more harmful than "good job".
An easy recommendation for anyone.
Brilliant Uplifting Movie
Great thriller with interesting detective work.
Not the strongest of Tom Cruise movies but still worth your time.
The last battle scene was not the most captivating.
The movie directly gets into the story making you think from the start.
It has been quite sometime since I watched a movie that I could not at least extract 1 or 2 positive points.
The story is too weak and the acting is bland.
Do not waste your time with this poorly executed movie.
An exceptional masterpiece.
I heard about all the praise the movie received but after watching it, it is now easily in my top movies of all time.
Here's looking at you, kid
A Classic Gem !
A good movie for what it is. It does present a feel of isolation and Matt Damon hit it spot on. Visually it was quite stunning also.
I really enjoyed the movie. Much better than the previous 2 but does not exceed the first two. The cast was well chosen also.
A complex movie. Must be watched a couple of times.
A classic movie although a bit slow. Some pretty good twists. Easily worth a watch.
The movie was great for being what it is: Showing want Tank warfare was like and all the feelings that go around while deployed in one of those machines. Yes a large portion of the movie could have been guessed but I enjoyed it nevertheless. Great acting, suspense and overall flow.
