One of the best dramas I've ever seen! You laugh and cry in the same episode.
I'm completely in love with the couple, the protagonists are brilliant and the king has the kindest eyes ever!
I would rather shit in my hands and clap than watch this movie to the end.
This was the first movie I have ever walked out of the cinema after 45 minutes.
This is a gem. a very well paced comedy/crime/drama.
Loved the story so far and the actors that bring this characters alive are well chosen. Give this a chance and ignore the low votes given almost 6 months before the show aired.
Ok I'm gonna be honest here. One Piece live action is really really good and underappreciated. There are some problems but not everyone's gonna notice and it's not gonna bother most. But the thing that's actually gonna bother is its slow pacing which is not bad as it was needed for the World Building but pacing could have been better. It's a slow burn but worth a watch. I'm not gonna say it's the best live action adaptation of any anime but safety is one of the best live action adaptation. The cast is amazing, stets are really cool, VFX and CGI shots aren't bad or anything.
P.S. All the actors did an amazing job especially the one paying Luffy.
Yeah...... so I went from "wtf is this crap?" 10 minutes into episode 1, to absolutely loving the show by the end of the final episode. 8/10 from me. Never seen the anime original but will definitely check it out while I wait for season 2 of the live action.
I’ve never watched One Piece or read the manga ‘cause, honestly, I don’t have the courage or time to start a 1000+ episode anime or read even more than that. I didn’t even know what the story was about other than them being pirates, so this live action is a good opportunity to enjoy the story without it being too overwhelming.
So far I really enjoyed it, it is funny and entertaining. It doesn’t seem to be cringe and weird like other live actions Netflix put out throughout the years, but I am curious to read other people’s opinions (especially the ones who have watched/read One Piece before) once I finish watching. Looking forward to watch more episodes :)
10/10
As a person who doesn't really know anything about one piece manga series, if you watch this you'll definitely feel like you need to watch the anime one.
As someone that has only seen a few anime episodes here and there I'm absolutely loving this. It's just incredibly fun and impossible to watch without a smile on your face.
I hate that it has that weird 'Netflix look' to it but other than that really good.
I can safely say, this is One Piece! There are some things that aren't accurate, like the mood Zoro's actor is stuck in, but overall they recreated the manga in live action. It's a beautiful attempt at bringing all the fun, epicness, and ridiculousness of the series to life.
Unfortunately, they seem to have cut too much for that 8 episode "pacing" and it resulted in some scenes missing context, and Nami's arc being rushed. While not having enough screen time for Usopp, or Genzo, and doing nothing with Gin.
They nailed some moments, totally skipped others, and restructured the East Blue saga and future events in some pretty good and bad ways. Overall, the series is what we love about One Piece, done in a way that leaves you wanting more and better at the same time.
This series is so good that I can't express it. I have watched many Korean, Jap, English and American series that are not based on thriller, mystery and crime genre and can still be very much engaging and binge worthy, this is one of those shows.
I can easily recommend it to anyone without having second thoughts. Not being a mystery-thriller and still being able to grip us to the show is really something I appreciate about it.
Screenplay, Story, Plot are top notch.
If you're into Korean content it's a must watch.
I do not think i ever saw 7 episodes in such a short time! i do not bindge normally.
This show is FANTASTIC!
Level Heroes season 1
Captivating directed, excellent storytelling love the whole how we slowly reveal the story and connect the pieces, the music is awesome! like 80s stuff and it also has humor, like good humor.
and 20 episodes! wow!
bad acting, terrible story, dont waste ur presious time on this
Apparently, Adam Driver has now reached the Nic Cage stage of his career.
No clue why everyone ois hating this show. I had a lot of fun with it
Plays like an abbreviated TV series, and a cliched and generic one at that. WIth a bad script, wooden acting, and a heavy handed approach, this isn't worth the time of even the most die hard genre fan.
It's too bad the liberals have managed to create an environment that is forcing this show to become less fun than it was during the first two seasons. The moronic "defund the police" climate is toxic and eroding this show. Thankfully it has survived where others have not, but if they can't return to the fun TV of the first two seasons, they should wrap this show up this season and let this amazing cast move on to other things where they will shine.
This may be a minority opinion but I found this series badly written with a poorly constructed, underlying reality. The story unfolds in a format similar to 13 REASONS where each episode is one girl’s backstory. The plot is plodding. The “research project” is extremely unconvincing. The continuity is fractured. Basically, you not only have to suspend disbelief, but you also have to ignore any understanding of physical reality. I have no intention of watching them [spoiler] repeat this process with their male counterparts [\spoiler] in a second season. I began watching with a willingness to give it a chance but ended up regretting the wasted time. I give the series a 4 (poor) out of 10 [Young Adult Drama]
It's Community without the charm or talent.
sigh In the midst of whiney, life is hard, I hate myself, wahh-wahh-wahh, Gen z angst, we can always count on Alice to make the show actually interesting.
This show was some hardcore religious and political shit combined and will surely make you wonder what is real and what is not. Its up to you to experience what you conclude from the show. For me, it was such an amazing show. Oh yeah fuck #rottentomatoes critics! This show ruled.. 8/10
an insult to the movie going public, sadly 1 is as low as I can rate it.
It’s enjoyable but I’m having hard time understanding where the show is going. 9 episodes in & just feels like the show is dragging. I’m like let’s get to the point already...who knows, maybe they’ll conclude something by end of season. I think most people will not find this show enjoyable.
Just watch it. Believe me it is worth it
One of my new favorite shows! It's such a breath of fresh air - funny, feel good, and original. The parents have such a warm friendship, the kids are adorable, and the plot lines are hilarious.

Happy Madison films are better when they don't rely on potty humor or raunchiness. Which is something I guess Sandler prefers for the ones starring him. So Memoirs mostly has charm without crude and childish humor.
I credit the movie for not trying to get laughs by having Kevin James clumsy and falling all over the place. However, I did wait for moments like that.
I expected a spy version of Paul Blart in another words. Without James being a fat clumsy guy for laughs, there wasn't too many laughs. I don't know though. I enjoyed the movie despite it not being laugh out loud funny nevertheless. The cast was likeable.
I guess they need to launder money in Hollywood because I don’t see another reason for why this was made.
Not the biggest fan of the ending but I also didn't hate it. It was a fun ride and it did something new with the GHD formula which I liked. It added a second person. Talk about co-dependence ehh?
pilot was obnoxious and unfunny.
Really Slow moving story that in the end makes you wonder why you watched it???
