Whats not to love, catchup with the crew of the Firefly class ship 'Serenity' 3 years after the the now much loved TV show ended. Follow this rag-tag, loveable crew on a new adventure set directly after the events of Episode 14 'Objects in Space'. The script itself is based on ideas that were orginally planned for Season 2 (which of course never happened) instead the film now sets to answer all the unanswered questions, fans had from the first season and what can I say, Joss Whedon has done another magnifcent job and Serenity makes you realise how much you loved Firefly. Watch, enjoy and fall in love with the characters and Serenity herself.
Movie isn't as bad as everyone says it is. Treat it like an origin story movie that sets the scene for a larger universe...
Yes, first hour is pretty slow and at times the dialogue is clunky but you can still find enjoyment out of the film.
This was hilarious! Haha
I'll never watch Harry Potter the same way again :')
God bless Daniel Radcliffe
Best Fantasy Movie of My Childhood
Solid world building and storytelling! Movie really holds up even now and sets the tone for the entire series. Warwick Davis we love you!
Absolute favourite film of all time. Val nearly manages to steal the show with his rugged good looks and lovable comic relief. However I will always be a loyal fan of the ever genuine and talented Warwick Davis.
Some would call it wannabe Lord of the Rings. Not really though, just because it has wizards, trolls and a quest. Not like they are throwing the baby off mount doom lol.
I always loved it due to the action, fantasy, cast and of course the score by James Horner. Critics called it disappointing due to expecting more from George Lucas and Ron Howard.
If only they had a time machine. It’s definitely a better George Lucas written movie than Phantom Menace and Crystal Skull. A lot less disappointing as well.
The deleted scenes shown in the bonus features should have been kept in the movie though. Sorsha really needed that backstory to why she suddenly becomes good.
I'm very conflicted on this film. I enjoyed Margot Robbie's performance as Stereotypical Barbie as well as Ryan Gosling's Ken. The set design is top notch and I loved the design of Barbie World. The costumes and makeup are also well done. But that's about as far as the positives go. While I thought Gosling stole the show, I wish that we saw more of the Kens and more of Allan, because Allan was hilarious. When it comes to the writing, it really falls flat. Most of the dialogue is spoon-feeding you the message instead of showing it through the film. I also thought that the mother character and her daughter were very under developed and felt very generic. I also found the film to be somewhat unrealistic when it came to the real world. The film was funny but felt more annoying and I wasn't very entertained. Just not for me.
Rape and revenge even more incredible than Prometheus, a girl with a Wolverine healing factor, and Rambo skills, people with 45 liters of blood, people who forget that they have been shot with a shotgun
Like a workday: you go in and get the job done but do nothing remarkable and won't remember it in a week.
If you really want to watch a teenage girl coming-of-age cartoon, watch Turning Red instead.
Jesus Hopscotching Christ, that whole religious thing was so underwhelming after a strong start with Jared :<
Not sure what other people were expecting... I thought it was the perfect blend of humor, action, gore and even some heart.
At 93 minutes, it was a lot of fun and didn't drag at all.
Utterly silly, it was completely brilliant.
The perfect amount of nonsense and fun
Ok! Now this was a good comedy. Definitely a MUST WATCH! Nic is back baby!
This was so good literally- it was pretty action but the comedy was so well put on there. I loved the co-dependent metaphor it made the whole sorry really cool
"I will smash your face into a jelly!" is one of the best lines ever yelled on television.
"you're not gay, you're just...really, really vain."
I'm sorry, but why was Javier's rating so low? HE DESERVES 5/5 STARS. AND ALL THAT IS GOOD AND PURE IN LIFE.
I enjoyed this episode way more than I thought I would! I didn’t miss the band at all.
Simone is a damn good friend to Daisy. I liked seeing her be a friend to Daisy and be brutally honest with her.
Americans back at it again, thinking Europe is a country. They are in Greece yet they play French and Italian music. And someone was speaking French and the caption was written, “speak Greek”. Oh, and as soon as Nicky said Irish royalty I was like that is not real. This episode was absolutely written by someone who is not Irish and doesn’t understand the class structure quirks of Anglo-Irish titles. Still don’t understand why they changed Thailand to Greece, also Nicky isn’t Italian? Why would they change that?
Best episode of the show so far? Might be. Sam reminds me of Rashford a lot.
It’s crazy how a show can constantly lift you up and put joy in to you so effortlessly. I always feel a little bit better after watching a Ted lasso episode. Bloody brilliant
It really does feel like anything called Children of the Corn is cursed. Not because of the Children of the Corn, but because of the rubbish movies made from anything with that title.
This is one of the worst I have seen. Don't bother
I watched Banshees of Inisherin yesterday and was bored to death , i was afraid Otto was going to be a dud too..but i loved this movie, Tom Hanks still has a way that keeps you hooked to the movie even if there's no dialogs in scene like he did in cast away.and kudos to Mariana Treviño every scene for her was 10/10
I gave the movie 8/10
Best film I have watched for ages, cried and laughed soooo much
I watched it in the cinema with a reasonable sized audience. Everyone laughed. Everyone cried. It's perfect for achieving exactly what it set out to do. It'd be nice if Tom got awards nods for this, but Mariana Trevino definitely needs nominations.
I don't think I've ever been so annoyed at someone not going to the doctor. I get it, it's America but c'mon.
I already wanted Danielle and her to get a place together with their kids. But now shes gone :(
Good episode but the story is too fkng depressing to watch 10 hours (!) of it. Margaret Qualley is a compelling actress.
