So Mr Mylchick wakes Dylan at home (only for emergencies as the name says) to ask him where that card was hidden...and then doesn't do anything about it until like 5 mins before Dylan comes to work anyway. So all that was just because they had to make Dylan go defiant somehow.
Also, this Dylan' s son subplot brought to light something I kept thinking about from the start: it makes no sense that the innies have no recollection of their life before their procedure. All knowledge is memory, so how come they can talk, know what jazz or tetanus is if they wake up like a new person inside a body?
The innies are like a clone, they should wake up with recollection of their life up until the procedure takes place. It's 'personality split', not 'personality creation from nothing'
" Go now to the founder's bed " ... what in the hell ??!
A whole lot of nothingburger from a show that has very little to say about indentured servitude, corporate slavery, grief, empathy etc.
The amateurish Mystery-Box writing reminded me more of the inept season 1 of Lost than the masterfully done season 1 of Westworld.
I wish Alicia Vikander had gotten a better movie to be Lara Croft in. Tomb Raider (2018) is so boring.
This movie was terrible, I enjoyed the game but in the game she survives alone and has to adapt. In the movie tho she's surrounded by a group most of the time, she never grows and learns on her own but when the time comes for her to do anything, she naturally can with no trying. I hated the addition of being a bike courier and that she trained mma but only used chokes. Felt like an addition suggested from data pulled from social media or focus group.
Well, that was boring.
And disappointing. They completely rewrote the videogame's plot and got rid of all the supernatural stuff... which is ok. But at the same time, they failed to provide an alternate explanation for almost everything they still kept from the game. The island being inhabitable (why?), the WWII planes, Himiko, the shipwrecks... In the game, there is an explanation for all of that. In the movie, they just didn't bother. They could have kept the original story, or they could have ditched everything from the game and just make the story they wanted to. Instead, they chose their own story but keeping as many elements from the game as possible. The result is an abomination, it doesn't work.
I hope to see more of Alicia Vikander's Lara, but they reeeeally need to improve the storytelling.
Lame version of what you can experience in computer game.
Seriously though, it's too weak on heroes logic and motivation.
Mostly waste of time unfortunately.
This will always be one of my favorite episodes of this show, a real "Tour de France" for Dorothy to show off with some fantastic expressions from Sophia along the way. I can't count how many times I've watched it and I always laugh without fail and probably always will.
this episode should be called “Alex is mistreated by every single person she knows except Harper”
This doesn't make sense. How is it that she said yes when he doesn't even know her.
What a mess of a season. Getting rid of 60% of the characters was a bad choice imo. I absolutely cannot get into the relationship between Sabrina and Aaron. It feels so forced and he looks like he's old enough to be her father. Almost nothing about this season even feels like it goes with the rest of the show. It's great background noise though, I guess.
Decided to give this show a watch for a nice dose of nostalgia. Unfortunately I was left feeling pretty disappointed. The first 3 seasons are what I remember from TGIF nights and they were a lot of fun. After that things start to go downhill. By the time the last season rolled around, the show was nothing but a shell of its original self. My 6/10 is probably a bit high but it gets extra credit for the good early seasons and that it was still some decent, light fun.
Salem is the best idc
I only remember the first few seasons from years ago when it aired on TV so I decided to do a rewatch/catch up beng watch.. and man do I regret it.
The last 2 seasons, it's like the writers gave up on the story, Sabrina barely uses her magic & don't even get me started on Harvey.. I wish I didn't do it, because now one of my favorite childhood shows was officially ruined.
no b00bs ever are worth enough to watch this movie
While this whole show is very nostalgic, this particular episode tugs at the heartstrings more than most.
Helen: "Huh! How do I talk to a legend? I mean, what do I say?"
Joe: "Well, I don’t know. How about, uh, who’s your favorite composer?"
Helen: "Oh, right, Joe. Uh, excuse me, Mr. Einstein, what’s your favorite number? I can’t ask him something that simplistic. I know, I’ll ask him if he thinks Schoenberg’s dodecaphonic scale is the musical fraud of the 20th century or just a viable expression of non-cadential polytonality."
Fay: "That shouldn’t be too hard to work into the conversation."
Is there anything more evil than Winnie Cooper ?? Man, it hurts !!
