Wow the end scene might be my favorite scene from this show so far.. I feel like now whenever I think about memories from those show it will include that one... the cut to the living room after that perfect buildup that had the viewer (me) thinking, there is no way they can get out of this impending doom was just iconic

The best anime of the season, no isekai-vikings, beautifully animated, solid storytelling, character behavior looks realistic, and not exaggerated as in typical anime. The only weak spot so far is OP (which bad only at the start because it doesn't match visuals with warships and stuff).

What a horrible adaptation.
Animations are subpar, CGI is even worse. Character design seems lackluster and the episode jumps all over the place.They jump right into one of the most defining experiences of the MC and then destroy what little suspension they can build with ridiculous, unconnected flashbacks.

Watching Jimmy bring ruin to an elderly woman's social life for his own gain was flat out disgusting.
It was the first time I've ever felt genuinely disgusted with him. All the other lies and schemes - even his bar scams as shitty as they were - didn't feel as repulsive to watch as seeing him manipulate those women like that.
Pride, anger and desperation have stripped him of his moral limits. If he ever had any they're gone now. He's not Jimmy anymore, he's Saul Goodman.loading replies

@sp1ti Agreed - they are so overpowered it's ridiculous. Also, the scenes where they are all flying always makes me cringe so much...
But there are some cute/funny moments in it, so that did redeem it a little IMO.
If you liked the 1st series, don't bother watching this. It's terrible and it's just a lesbian side story.

As dark as what Walter did was, she deserved it. She was completely full of herself and blackmailed Walter for the money. Not to mention she was basically making Jesse's decisions for him. While she may have truly loved him, she would've definitely used that money to continue being an addict. That's most likely the very reason she even wanted the money. I'm not going to feel sympathy now that she's dead.

You are looking at the adaptation of the visual novel's third route and at this point they assume you are familiar with the stories players and initial outline. That said: I think ufotable did a fantastic job with this. I struggled a bit when they did the fast-forward but after that it was quite the threat.

@hildebread How it starts is similar to nearly all isekai I've watched, but did find it decent and worth continuing.
One of the best movies that Disney has made. The visuals and animation is incomparable to any studio (except Disney itself with Pixar) and the story is so well balanced, with (meta-)comedy and drama/suspense mixed so well together. The voice actors really makes you believe in a world where animals can be anthropomorphic and live in a society. A must-watch for children but also anyone who appreciate the beauty of animated storytelling.

@dioguinhubb I was really impressed with this. Usually this sort of thing isn't my cup of tea, but for some reason it really clicked with me and I really enjoyed it.
Surprising as I wasn't expecting to when I went into it.
Started off interesting and with some promise, but really went downhill in the second half. I was bored out of my mind for some episodes. And that last arc was so short and anti-climactic you have to wonder what all that build-up was about.
The animation quality is definitely above-average and there were some good scenes (mostly in the first half), but overall a waste of time really.loading replies

Another hilarious outing by our lovable idiots. I do hope we get more of this in the future as it's definitely one of the best and funniest of it's type out there. It's the kind of show where it feels like everyone involved in creating it is having a blast. It has also (along with Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju) improved my opinion of Studio DEEN massively, to the point where I might not actually assume a series is doomed if it ends up being animated by them (Like S2 of Cool-headed Hoozuki later this year, another comedy anime I really enjoyed).loading replies
