The Blackening

Better than I expected it to be , not nearly as funny or as clever as the filmmakers think it is.

Terrifier 2

An improvement from the first one. Much more ambitious, but to a fault. Much too long, the final part at the carnival seemed to go on and on…

I don't know why I keep going back to this "franchise"; all suffer the same problem. Half baked and poorly acted. The first story was the only one that held any interest, and it didn't go anywhere. I am going to make a promise to myself and stay away from any future movies in the series.

The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster

Terrible. Character development is non existent, characters are paper thin. The ending is baffling, Plot is nonsensical. Acting is over the top, but hard to judge it based on what they had to work with. at just around 90 minutes I still struggled to make it through it. While Vicaria may be brillant child, nothing is the least bit demonstrated that would give her the capability of resurrection... but I guess she knew the periodic table well enough... so you never know. I was hoping at least there would be a few scary, or at the very least, creepy parts, but there was not a single shot or sequence that came close to providing any suspense.

Terrifier

It was pretty much what I expcted it to be. But some of the scenes are unrealistic, it is much harder and takes a lot more time to cut a body in half vertically, as well as decpaiting an adult.

A Wounded Fawn

I really like the first act, thought it had a creepy vibe and wasn't sure where it was going... unfortuantely neither did the filmmakers. The final act is a pretentious nonsensical mess, have no clue what the intent was and worse it wasn't entertaining in any fashion.

Southbound

This has been on my list to catch up for a few years, I remember seeing some really positive reviews for it, but after starting it I knew a few minutes in it wasn't going to live up to my somewhat lofty expectations. It was watchable for an indie film, but none of the stories really stood out and were forgettable.

Homebound

Had moments of creepy vibes, but has issues with character development and motivations. Plus dropped a whole point just on the confusing ending alone.

A fun little movie, good cast and it didn’t overstay it’s welcome.

Bodies Bodies Bodies

Someone beat me to my review of Boring Boring Boring. Certain scenes I liked for a bit, but didn’t really find any character relatable or likeable, so hard to give a shit about any of them surviving. It did have a few minutes and scenes that I liked. Lee Pace was the highlight.

Bone Tomahawk

I’ve been meaning to see this for years, and it lived up to expectations. Although I thought the horror aspect would be a bit more prominent. But great cast, writing and pacing.

Loved the atmosphere, has a creepy vibe. And Burn is always great in a creepy role.

Totally Killer

This is what you get when you mix a network sitcom and a horror movie. It was watchable mostly for the lead.

The Mill

I thought it was a bit boring and tedious, I guessed the ending, similar to an Outer Limits episode that had David hyde Pierce in it.
