Ends on cliff hanger. Starts new ep. 5 minutes in its good. next 40 minutes its quite disappointing. Ends on cliff hanger. Repeat.
Another boring and predictable show that relies entirely on nostalgia bait (Hayden Christensen cameo).
No interesting dialogue at all, it looks cheap and mostly plays on barren planets again.
I really think some people don't understand the history behind the "history" that are watching at all. Many people 'see', but not 'observe'.
This series have a lot of connotations, such politics and social, from a showdown with a dictator; unto to release of real feelings. Almost all characters have a full evolution of her personality... even Naga hahaha.
At first I agree looks like a little child's series, but think is a masterpiece in all respects. I recommend this series to all public, seen or not any other series of the Avatar's universe.
PS. James Cameron's 'Avatar' not included. xD
the best thing is that it doesn't matter how shitty the special effects are because it's still awesome
It was pretty boring. I was expecting much more with this high rating
so boring, couldn't get into this
Ahsoka is :sleeping_accommodation::sleeping::sleepy:
Stopped watching it during the second season because it got worse and worse. Shame because it could have been great.
I've read at Wikipedia what the story would be for the next episodes and season and damn that's even worse. What kind of drugs were the writers using on writing this?
Such a waste this show became. Start watching this show then make a favor to yourself, stop watching it after first or second season at most.
Huge piece of nonsenses without a minimal historical rigour and inexactitudes. I will not give another chance after two episodes.
A fun ride, but not one I feel any compulsion to labour through again.
This show has nothing exceptional about it at all. It's pretty lame and cookie cutter. Disappointing.
I gave this a chance, so you don't have to.
Follows the now-usual Disney pattern of employing third-rate talent for directing and writing. Not even Ewan McGregor can elevate this to being watchable - he gets nothing to work with. Don't bother with this.
If you enjoy good storytelling, quality world building and interesting characters you will not find anything of the sort in this show.
Loved it in the beginning. Being on the CW I was ready to insta-hate it, but was surprised ep after ep that I was entertained. No, the acting is far from superb, but the storyline is actually pretty interesting.
It's definitely gotten worse though. The first season I was really into. Marathoned it. The second was okay; one episode--where they introduce Barry--was really super corny & cliche. This current [third] season was getting pretty good but then they started this theme of introducing a new villain at the end of each ep along with a really cheesy catch phrase. Terrible. So hopefully they stop that and bring it back to goodness. Cuz that would be good.
This is bad. A bad, slow, poor adaptation from the comics. And, hell, I watched it through 4 1/2 seasons... I mean, c'mon, 1st season is great! 2nd is ok. 3rd is meh. But 4th? 4th is "what the hell are the producers doing to this show?" horrible. And now they announce that the 6th (FU*&%ING 6TH!!!) season will have... ZOMBIES?? Isn't this SUPPOSED to be a ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE SHOW? And they announce zombies as if it was a great turn of events in the show... Really? o.O
No, don't bother telling me what happened to the show after the first half of 4th season. I'm pretty sure I can sum that up in only three syllables: "bla bla bla"...
I give it 2 hearts. And that is because 1st and 2nd seasons really entertained me, despite what they did to some characters (like... what? 19 episodes to kill Shane? Seriously? Why? And why is Lori so annoying? Someone please kill her!! \o/ YESSS! Thank you Carl! That's my boy!! Now I can stop watching this crap! Oh no, wait! The Governor appears! YESS!! ............. Aaaaand, he's boring. -_-' ).
I was hyped for this show massively, and now that it has arrived I cannot say I am disappointed.
The small touches of Matt showing that he is blind are great, fumbling for his keys throughout the scenes. Although they are not big key moments it shows that they paid attention when producing this series.
The actors play the characters well, and they really shine in their roles. They work well together as a cast and the way in which they collide.
The fight scenes are some of my favourites I have seen throughout a TV series and are done really well, they take into consideration that he is blind, but really engage with the user.
Overall I'm happy with this series and wish to see more. It's not over the top, it is pinned together well. 9/10 on my part.
Good scale and possibilities on paper, but uninspired in the realization - this show will be renamed from "Gotham" to "Gossip" next season.
I loved the first episodes of season 1... but season 2 really got to a high level of WTF...
After the 3rd or 4th season it gets really hard to watch. I will use the word 'boring' because I cannot stay focus in any episode by any means, after those first four seasons. I only force myself to watch it because I've already seen the 7 seasons, but it is really painful.
There was a time, maybe, when this show was watchable. Now is just a ridiculous succession of idiotic episodes, one after the other. Writers wander in the dark with no ideas where they are going worse than our beloved Infected.
Is just not worth it.
This is a very good series - has taken me a while to watch it but glad i finally did.
Just good enough to kill the time but so overrated for the fanboys.
The writing is so shallow with very little depth to any of the characters. Hard to care for anyone if you don't know them. The modern dialogue mixed in is funny at times but mostly it came across as lazy. The timeline jumps are cued up rather poorly as well, you're often left asking wait is this then or now?
Overall this felt like watching a video game, complete with missions and cut scenes and a few lines of dialogue sprinkled in between. Fans of the game and popcorn flicks will appreciate it more than those who are looking for a show similar to those early seasons of Game of Thrones.
Filler-filled, questionably acted, lazily-written, soulless fan service. The rating this show is getting on review websites is an insult to cinematic TV.
When it comes to the prequel trilogy, Disney has gone from barely acknowledging its existence to now padding their story out with fan fiction, all within the span of only a couple of years. The results are, as you might expect, pathetic and mind-numbingly dull. There’s just no way around it: this is another dreadful Disney+ show with production and directing that somehow manages to be even worse than The Book of Boba Fett. There’s this old Hollywood cliché that women can’t direct action, and well, I’ll just say that this show doesn’t do that stereotype any favours. Ewan McGregor kinda delivers, but most of the performances in this show are awkward and cringy. It looks really, really bland for the most part, and the story is uninteresting and dumb. It makes little to no sense in the timeline. Revenge of the Sith took its time to cram everyone into their starting position for A New Hope, and the fact that we have characters meeting up again between those time periods kinda fucks with the whole continuity in A New Hope, which only adds to the fan fiction feel of the show.
3/10
This tv show is very current. A lot of nothing, empty and soulless. Pure boredom.
