When catch me if u can meets breaking bad
Captain finding out how insignificant his reality was as the camera zooms out while playing " all along the watchtower" is peak television.
Shetru just outdid himself this time. This is what you get when a visionary director who is passionate towards what he does, executes a movie so beautifully. This is world class cinema and what kannada cinema is capable of. Thank you for the entire team for proving that again.
The movie never misses a beat in showcasing the culture , folkore of tulunadu. It just hooks you up right from the opening sequence and never lets u go. This probably has the best opening scene for a kannada cinema of all time. Each and every characters steals the scene they are in.
Technically the movie is shot beautifully and some scenes are just picture perfect. Movie is filled with some of the best shots to ever come from Indian cinema. You can just freaze some frames and put it on as wallpaper. It's that good. Background score is just cherry on top. Every time the awsome score came up it was goosebumps.
Mad respect to Rishab Shetty for taking this complicated concept and executing so masterfully. If u have even some ideas about the culture, traditions of tulunadu, then you're going to love this. Its funny, has social commentary, mystery and the best execution of supernatural powers. Showdown between the protagonist and the antagonist is just epic. You just have to watch this amazing piece of cinema to experience it, so don't miss it. There are few minute things i dint like but it dwarves away in comparison how good the rest of the movie is. 10/10 amazing stuff all around.
This is probably the only time when a movie matched the expectations and exceeded it. The hype and expectation from the movie was insane, and to be able to execute it so beautifully is a masterclass in itself. This movie had one thing to do, fan service and it does that exceptionally well and some more. Marvel knows what they're doing and they just dialed fan service to max and left it there. A fun ride from start to finish. Hands down the best spidey live action movie.
"There is no one in this room who can stand against me. Your mothers warned you about my coming. Fear the moment."
Just came out from my second viewing of this masterpiece. And I'm in love with this movie. Somehow I enjoyed it more in the second watch. This is what we live for, this is cinema.
Entire sequence of Muad'dibs entry and monologue is cheffs kiss
Introduction of Feyd Rautha and the whole Geidi Prime setup was out of this world. Take a bow Denis villeneuve. You sir, deserve all the praises.
Year 1895, cinema was born.
Year 1965, Frank Herbert wrote Dune.
So that we can all experience this Magnificent piece of kino by Denis villeneuve.
It would have been perfect if it had another 30 min more runtime.
Nevertheless, it's a masterclass in sci-fi cinema. Even got to see the Gurney playing his baliset.
Denis my man, you're the real Shai hulud.
Bless the maker and his work.
James cameron single handedly saving the theatrical movie watching experience and cinema houses from going out of business. Dint think it would be this good, expectations were met and exceeded above and beyond. Truly a spectacle.
The spice must flow.....
One of the greatest movie of our time. Denis Villeneuve's masterclass. It's one of the toughest book to adapt into live action and the movie truely did justice to the source material. Movie captured the core essense of the novel so well and it looks absolutely amazing.
Only thing missing is the Gurney's baliset.
If you have liked the first one then you'll definitely like this. It starts of right from first movies ending and expands on the world of KGF. It has it's flaws and the soundtrack was unnecessarily way too loud for a theatre experience. But god damn it's entertaining. It's a mass movie and it delivers. Enjoyable from start to finish.
I'm a huge fan of sci fi and this one is solid original movie. Need more of these, thank you Gareth Edwards. A refreshing spin on the AI/human relationship. Really interesting world with one side embracing AI and one side dead opposite of that. Mad respect after knowing what they achieved with the budget. This is how you integrate quality CGI, it does not require a huge budget. You just have to care about what you're creating.
Alphie
Sadly, the backward audience will fail this one as well and that is a tragedy.
Guardians of the galaxy will never be the same. This was end of an era. this is what we loved about Marvel movies all those years ago when they started out. Movies perfectly captured that feel, Wholesome.
James Gunn delivers again, makes it seem so effortless. Every character gets their moments to shine. But the star of this one is undoubtedly rocket. Best origin story after iron man. And a new favourite for the hallway fight scene. Awsome stuff all around.
Great visuals. Anoop bhandari is good at creating an immersive experience. It is just beautiful to look at this movie. Like RangiTaranga here also we can see the mystery surrounding kamarottu, back to back expositions. Full of twist and turns, and it does work for the most part, but all of them feel forced, just to make the movie work. But personally i felt the revenge plot of antagonist/s was weak. I mean if it had been serial killings of parents instead of childrens, it would have worked way better.
It's basically the same rangitaranga movie in it's core is what i felt after a second watch. By the standard of today's indian movies, i appreciate the effort put into this. It's kinda sort of different than the usual movies nevertheless.
Enjoyable movie, in line with the other marvel movies. There's nothing new in this one either, marvel is churning out same old formula. Christian bale made quick bucks with a character that could be played by pretty much anybody. He did good job though, there's just nothing much to do. Like they say, it's a theme park movie and overall its good enough. If you enjoy Marvel movies, then u will like this one as well. Those two goats with the weird ass voice were the real GOAT.
wow.
this is up there with 3 idiots.
PS: yeh shraddha kitna cute hai yaar.
halfway through the episode. yes let this shit crash and burn.
Soooooo goooood. Loved it. More please.
Went on reddit for some much needed clarification. Couldn't make out the point of that whole monkey madness plot, somebody had put up a nice little analysis on the same(thank you stranger). Holy shit this movie is dope. It should have been called dope.
This is why i love cinema. It truly is everything everywhere all at once. Did not know that something this brilliant could be creatively possible untill i saw it. Just watch this amazing piece of a art. It's a very very special movie. 10/10
This happened to my friend one time. He got high on bhaang and thought he was time traveling.
My only regret is not watching this in the theatre..
impressed
a well made thriller.
mediocre. barely gets above that average mark by the end
Often times we forget how great this movie was. Has it's flaws but it's almost perfect. It's bigger than the second movie, stakes are higher, badass villian, beautifully ties up at the ending. Nolan is a genius. This trilogy is what cinema is all about.
Cheap fucking tricks.
Had a good first half and it should have ended there. Nonsense, unnecessary plot the whole second half. Could have been solid mass movie if first half was it's own movie. Rajni was awesome as always but even he can't save this shitshow of second half.
How to ruin a great franchise 101.
2/5 stars for the third act and the opening train sequence. Apart from that it was a disaster. Every frame Elena was in was so cringe. This is what happens when u force a character and try to make it look cooler than the original. We're watching it for Indiana Jones not some fucking wombat.
This had everything an engaging story, indy fighting nazis, specially liked the time travel part. This would still be a decent movie if you just replace Elena with a side character who is not trying to oversmart indy in every scene.
When art meets science.
Another masterpiece from Nolan. Felt like watching a movie from the golden age Hollywood.
Little nerd in me is very happy.
THIS. IS. BRILLIANT.
A sci fi, fantasy, action, comedy done right. Feels like all the genres got together and made this baby. Enjoyable from start to finish. Gave me the vibes of kung fu hustle. Stoked for the sequel if they make one.
Michael Peña pretty much sums it up in the credit scene..this sucks.
So Shiny So chrome. Perfection.
Freaking fantastic.
Dint think I would enjoy this much.
Hemsworth went berserk, loved his performance. Epic followup.
Did miss Tom Hardy though.
