Upendra has these really cool ideas for movie but always fails to translate. This one swings between being a great movie and chapri movie for the entire run length.

Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver

Thought it couldn't get any worse...but there it is. Even that shitbucket army of the dead looks better than this now.
Oh the audacity to think that this could have more sequel:joy:

Was on YouTube. Adele's Intro song came up randomly on the playlist. And I just had to re-watch this masterpiece again. Loved it more.

Dune: Part Two

"There is no one in this room who can stand against me. Your mothers warned you about my coming. Fear the moment."

Just came out from my second viewing of this masterpiece. And I'm in love with this movie. Somehow I enjoyed it more in the second watch. This is what we live for, this is cinema.

Entire sequence of Muad'dibs entry and monologue is cheffs kiss
Introduction of Feyd Rautha and the whole Geidi Prime setup was out of this world. Take a bow Denis villeneuve. You sir, deserve all the praises.

Year 1895, cinema was born.
Year 1965, Frank Herbert wrote Dune.
So that we can all experience this Magnificent piece of kino by Denis villeneuve.
It would have been perfect if it had another 30 min more runtime.
Nevertheless, it's a masterclass in sci-fi cinema. Even got to see the Gurney playing his baliset.
Denis my man, you're the real Shai hulud.
Bless the maker and his work.

In a movie filled with such a beautiful writing, ones that hits the most are the untold things.
How can this be heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time?

The Dark Knight Rises

Often times we forget how great this movie was. Has it's flaws but it's almost perfect. It's bigger than the second movie, stakes are higher, badass villian, beautifully ties up at the ending. Nolan is a genius. This trilogy is what cinema is all about.

The Creator

I'm a huge fan of sci fi and this one is solid original movie. Need more of these, thank you Gareth Edwards. A refreshing spin on the AI/human relationship. Really interesting world with one side embracing AI and one side dead opposite of that. Mad respect after knowing what they achieved with the budget. This is how you integrate quality CGI, it does not require a huge budget. You just have to care about what you're creating.
Alphie

Sadly, the backward audience will fail this one as well and that is a tragedy.

The Secret Life of Walter Mitty

To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other and to feel. That is the purpose of life.

This is cinema for me.

I always wondered why, whenever great directors, creators counted an obscure movie as their favourite. " Secret life of Walter mitty" makes me realise the reason why, it just connects with you on a whole new different level. One of my absolute favourites and love this movie to the core.

This is a wholesome movie and filled with some of the greatest shots along with beautiful soundtrack. Was surprised  to learn that it was shot on film.

In a way we are all Walter mitty's. When we were young we all had this idea about ourselves and as we get older we kind of forget about all that. Watching this film bring so much joy and puts things into perspective.

Jailer

Cheap fucking tricks.
Had a good first half and it should have ended there. Nonsense, unnecessary plot the whole second half. Could have been solid mass movie if first half was it's own movie. Rajni was awesome as always but even he can't save this shitshow of second half.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

How to ruin a great franchise 101.
2/5 stars for the third act and the opening train sequence. Apart from that it was a disaster. Every frame Elena was in was so cringe. This is what happens when u force a character and try to make it look cooler than the original. We're watching it for Indiana Jones not some fucking wombat.
This had everything an engaging story, indy fighting nazis, specially liked the time travel part. This would still be a decent movie if you just replace Elena with a side character who is not trying to oversmart indy in every scene.

Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3

Guardians of the galaxy will never be the same. This was end of an era. this is what we loved about Marvel movies all those years ago when they started out. Movies perfectly captured that feel, Wholesome.

James Gunn delivers again, makes it seem so effortless. Every character gets their moments to shine. But the star of this one is undoubtedly rocket. Best origin story after iron man. And a new favourite for the hallway fight scene. Awsome stuff all around.
