While The Office cannot quite reach the brilliance of Friends, Scrubs or Big Bang Theory IMHO, none-the-less it is definitively one of my all-time favorite sitcoms.
For sure the weakest season of them all. Don't get me wrong, there are still some very funny episodes (e.g. most of the ones with Joy and Darnell in witness protection) but there also are quite a few disappointing ones. I did especially not like episodes 4x24 - 4x26 and there are a few others that I didn't enjoy very much. Therefore, when starting to watch 4x27, I thought "Well... maybe it is not so bad that they quit after this season because everything seems to goes south". However, the hilarious very last episode "Dodge's Dad", with its Cliffhanger ending, made it quite hard for me to understand why the series was shut down!!! Stupid studios!
Another great season of Person of Interest. Very intriguing!
While the final is not as brilliant as the one from Season 2, it's still thrilling!
However, I'm not quite sure I like the addition of Shaw and Root to the permanent cast, though... and I definitively regret the elimination of Carter!. This is somewhat curious because I thought her character rather lacking at first, but somehow she grew on me.
Hilarious!!! Surprisingly fun german sitcom. Season two is the best one and the only shortcoming is the partially mediocre performances of some of the actors, especially "Cem" IMHO
The first two episodes are a little silly. But from the third one on the series had me in its grip and I couldn't wait to watch the next episodes. I'm very much looking forward to season 2!
While not perfect, this first season of Arrow certainly is very entertaining: it is packed with action, intrigues and not-too-shallow-characters (even though they are not great, yet?).
The main criticism if have are the following:
1. the Green Arrow is depicted as a poor copy of Batman (boy/man lives through traumatic events, hides his vigilanty identity under the cover of a billionaire, lives in a huge castle to name the most important parallels).
2. all the female characters look like supermodels! I mean come on, even for a comic adaption this is incredible unbelievable. I can't shake the feeling that the producers want to attract teenage boys to the series by casting gorgeous looking women (something that works as I know from my own experience: back in the days I watched Charmed not because it was good but because it had Alyssa Milano in)! I think it would be wise to rethink this decision because it is really annoying that they all look better suited for the cat walk than working as attorney, IT girl, boss of global enterprises, waitresses, and so forth and so on.
3. nobody seems to recognize Ollie Queen under his hood. This is just laughable as his face can be seen on a lot of the crime scenes. I didn't like that fact about Batman / Bruce Wayne and he at least wears a mask, but the hood of Green Arrow isn't cutting it for me.
Great season! Especially the mid-season-final, but also the final is superb!!!
After Lost and Fringe, J.J. Abrams did it again with Person of Interest: creating a very thrilling series that grips you practically from the get-go! Nice.
While not the best first season there is, it has its funny moments and it has me hooked enough to give Season 2 a chance
Nothing to complain about this third season which I watched on Netflix. The show is still strong and I cannot comprehend why they shut the series down after the fourth season! But perhaps when watching the last season, which I am definitively going to do, things becomes clearer...
After enjoying the first season quit a lot on Netflix, I had to continue watching and I wasn't disappointed: most episodes are really funny and despite the ever same setting (Earl tries to undo his past mistakes with the help from his friends) it does not get boring. Two thumbs up!
I put off watching this for a long time and finally gave it a try on Netflix. Man, am I a moron for not having started watching this show earlier. Most episodes are hilarious and while the setting of the show seems not very promising, some how it just pulls it off. I am very much looking forward to the next seasons, its a shame that there are only four of them overall!
Similar to "The Office", I did not love the first season of "Parks and Recreation" but decided to give Season Two a try anyway. And I am quite happy about it because it does not disappoint: while there are still some goofy and rather weak episodes, the series gets better and I hope this trend continues with Season Three, which I am going to watch for sure.
This is the last season featuring Michael Scott / Steve Carell. It is still going strong which I find amazing considering that this is the 7th year they managed to make episodes about the day to day life in an office fun, witty and so enjoyable. Looking forward to see how they tackled the new boss scenario!
Still loving it! It cannot put the finger down why it is funny, but it just is! Excluding the first season, I would say that this series is among the best ones every made: while not quite on par with Friends, Scrubs or Big Bang Theory, I would definitively name it along such great shows as Modern Family, Seinfeld or Two and a Half Men.
As good as the previous 5 seasons! Hopefully Seasons 7 - 9 can keep up!
I wouldn't say that Season 5 is better than the previous seasons, but since its the last one, I still give it 9 instead of 8 points to honor this exceptional show!
The only bad episode of this season IMHO was Synecdoche, and that is only because of its stupidly patriotic ending! Otherwise there are only good episodes, some of them even brilliant. I also like the ending that J.J. Abrams chose for the show, so much better than the ones from Lost and Fringe! Look very much forward to his next show, Westworld.
For me the last season was the weakest one of the series. While I was thrilled by the one episode in season 4 which showed the Observers taking over the control, I think dedicating a whole season to the idea was simply too much. Mainly this is because there are nearly no fringe events occurring in this fifth season, which Fringe turns into an action / crime show ditching most of the (pseudo) scientific aspects that made the show so great in the previous seasons.
I would not recommend to skip it altogether but I'm still quite disappointed by it!
Give it some episodes to grow on you, this first season of Community is really worth it. Maybe not a new "Friends", "Big Bang Theory" or "Scrubs" but still a great watch.
Have to agree with SKE: if you no longer like the show, why do you watch it?!!? I don't get it... Anyway, I also think there have been better Seasons, none the less this 10th was fun and I for one am looking forward to the 11th!
Brilliant! One of the best series I know, on par with the best seasons of Scrubs, X-Files and Big Bang Theory.
Much better than the first season and I'm happy that I didn't quite watching the series despite some of the mediocre episodes of Season 1!
As hilarious as the previous seasons, I just love these guys!
Great season! I especially like "Red Museum" (No. 10), "Colony" (No. 16) and "End Game" (No. 17).
Another very good season of HIMYM, but the upward trend of season 4 didn't continue in season 5. But as were seasons 2 and 3: a big fun to watch!
Not the best season IMHO, but still very enjoyable!
As with all King-of-Queens seasons: funny but there are better comedies out there! And somehow the whole series got stale over the hear and I therefore quit watching it after this fifth season.
My advise to you: watch Friends, Scrubs, Big Bang Theory or Modern Family, they are the much better alternatives IMHO!
As with all King-of-Queens seasons: funny but there are better comedies out there!

This first season of King of Queens is funny and refreshing, but there are better comedies out there!
