A sensationally good comic adaption, the best one I've ever seen to be honest, and one of my all-time favorite movies!
This is in no small part thanks to the astonishing performances by the lead actors and actress.
So all in all: a perfect plot plus perfect directing plus the perfect cast equals a perfect action movie!
The funniest action movie I know with a "larger than life" performance of Johnny Depp as "Captain Jack Sparrow".

The best fantasy movie I know and the beginning of J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" saga. Monumental and epic story of the never ending battle between the good and the evil.
Brilliant ending of a brilliant trilogy! While Bane is not a villain as brilliant as the Joker was in "The Dark Knight", the plot is still very thrilling, entertaining and packs a lot of action into the 150 minutes of run-time. The special effects are top notch (as with the other two parts of the trilogy) and the whole Good vs Evil themes does not get boring at all. Besides the Lord of the Rings and the Harry Potter series this is definitely one of my all-time favorites!
I did not expect all too much from this movie and bought the BluRay mainly because of all the good things I kept on reading about it. But boy, was I in for a surprise: the story is told in a saracastic way and with some very black humour, but at the some time with so much emotions that I just have to love it.
The characters (from the drug addict grand father, over the overworked mother, the suicidal uncle and the mute-by-choice teenage son to the jobless father, who tries to get a new career as a motivational speaker started) are absolutely hilarious, the criticism on kid beauty contests as one example of what is wrong with this world and its beauty mania very pointed and the plot so entertaining that I just regret not having watched this comedy earlier.
Another superb season, the only thing I do not like is the laughter track! Scrubs an Modern Family show us that a great sitcom doesn't need one and I would love it if Chuck Lorre would decide to ditch the laughter track, too.

Hilarious! Finally gave Shameless a try on Netflix and instantly loved it!!! It is so harsh, dirty and shameless that I couldn't get enough of it. Nearly all the characters feel real, there is none of the typical Hollywood "glossiness", no artficial feeling to it. And while sometimes very asocial and selfish, you have to like most of the characters. Cant wait for the next seasons...
I especially like "Paper Clip" (No. 2), "Nisei" (No. 9), "731" (No. 10), "Piper Maru" (No. 15), "Apocrypha" (No. 16) and "Talitha Cumi Apocrypha", the latter three being the best of the MythArc episodes in my opinion.
Additionally "War of the Coprophages" (No. 12) is one of the funniest X-Files episodes.
Season 3 is therefore one of the best X-files seasons there is! Just superb!!!

Unbelievable, this is already season 6 and I would have thought that by now all the nerdy aspects and topics were covered. But I was wrong, season 6 as outstanding as were the previous seasons.

While we have seen a lot in previous movies Disney somehow managed to perfectly merge old with new and produce one of the best 3D movies I have ever seen. If you are remotely interested in action and / or SciFi movies I can only recommend this flick to you. Even if you have never seen a Star Wars movie before...

I still love it and even after watching every season for the second time I have to say that after Friends and Scrubs, Big Bang Theory is in the top 3 of my all time favorite sitcoms.

The Terrorist "V" takes on all his enemies in a Post-WW3 London. One of the best action movies I've ever seen! This is still true after watching it a 2nd time (and I guess it will probably be true after watching it a 3rd and 4th time ;-)).
The final chapter of the LotR saga. Not as great as the first movie but really, really good anyway.
Hilarious!!! Surprisingly fun german sitcom. Season two is the best one and the only shortcoming is the partially mediocre performances of some of the actors, especially "Cem" IMHO
I wouldn't say that Season 5 is better than the previous seasons, but since its the last one, I still give it 9 instead of 8 points to honor this exceptional show!
The only bad episode of this season IMHO was Synecdoche, and that is only because of its stupidly patriotic ending! Otherwise there are only good episodes, some of them even brilliant. I also like the ending that J.J. Abrams chose for the show, so much better than the ones from Lost and Fringe! Look very much forward to his next show, Westworld.

After the very good 4th Season the expectations are high. And you won't be disappointed: Season 5 is top notch. I think it's the best season of Buffy!

Hint: the episodes from Buffy 5 are always one episode behind the one's from Angel 2 (as was true with Buffy 4 and Angel ).
