The Walking Dead

As much as I loved The Walking Dead, it sadly got less interesting near the end. I think I lost big interest after the Whisperers ended. Despite that it’s a show I’ve always loved and will no doubt watch again! So glad I got to grow up watching this show when it was released season after season!

The Walking Dead: 9x05 What Comes After

I Generally loved this episode, been one of the best ones in a while! I honestly didn’t know what to think would happen to Rick, especially with the huge explosion on the bridge. I Was so happy to see Scott Wilson in this episode along with Jon Bernthal too.

I’ve avoided spoilers for the future seasons and spinoffs, but thankyou Andrew Lincoln for playing one of my favourite ever actors. I can’t wait to watch you back in the series again!

The Walking Dead: 8x09 Honor

I actually enjoyed this episode, the split between the two villages was intense, but I will say I was very sad to see Carl go the way he did, but damn did they stretch the death out too long.

House: 8x22 Everybody Dies

I’ll admit, a tear did shed for this last episode. An uncontrollable one for sure. What a final episode and what a show. So very glad I watched this series, it’s one I know I’ll happily come back to as my comfort series. Thankyou Hugh Laurie for giving me the enjoyment and suspense from your character.

Righteous Kill

I really enjoyed this movie, I mean who wouldn’t want to watch another film with Al Pacino and De Niro together. I really enjoyed the story but didn’t expected the big twist in the end.

House: 5x20 Simple Explanation

I guess it’s as the saying goes… it’s okay not to be okay.

It was a very sad start to the episode losing Kutner, he was a character that grew on me since House’s initiations begun.

The Batman

Robert Pattinson is now my favourite Batman! The movie itself, It’s such a well detailed and intense story. The visuals are amazing, the acting is incredible for the main and side characters. I love the feeling of suspense everytime Batman appeared or lurking in the shadows, the soundtrack was huge towards that also.

Escape Plan 2: Hades

I don’t often leave comments on movies or tv shows but I feel I had to leave one for this movie. I really enjoyed the first one, it was great and that is what made me excited to watch the 2nd! Escape Plan 2 has a lot of different characters in the film and I feel we don’t get to know them much. In this movie I thought Stallone was going to be a main character again, but no… he’s not in it much at all even the previous main characters are hardly seen. The story I really did struggle to get into. I hardly felt gripped to my seat or curious what could happen next, I felt like it was jumping from scene to scene which kept making me lose interest. It generally feels and looks low budgeted, I just wished they followed the way the 1st movie was directed and came out. I don’t think anyone will mind me saying this but I cut the movie off and didn’t finish it as it was horrendous. I’m sure I’ll give the 3rd instalment of the franchise a shot but I don’t have my hopes up.

Avengement

A fantastic revenge story for a brother betrayed in jail. Truly an entertaining action movie full of great fighting scenes and a good storyline with an amazing cast. I was wondering how casting Thomas Turgoose with a mean group of people would fit in but shows throughout the movie he’s a brave but very much a coward at the chance he can get out of a situation. Big shoutout to seeing Craig Fairbrass in the movie, forever a voice us gamers will know straight away!

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Basically straight to business with how the story was going to end, I also didn’t expect the deaths to start as quick. I generally was hoping to learn some background about our main characters! Also… how are these guys staying alive for so long after they’ve been brutally attacked???

My highlight was definitely “Try anything and you’re cancelled bro”

Meg 2: The Trench

Just finished watching the Meg 2 film at the cinema and I’ve got to say I quite enjoyed it! I read a lot of the negative reviews online before I seen it and to be quite frank it was making me doubt having hopes that it was going to be a good film. But I generally did! Really reminded me of how much I liked the first! Definitely worth a watch!

The Godfather

I’m glad I finally gave The Godfather a watch. Despite its age, it’s now one of my favourite movies! I really enjoyed the storyline altogether. I thought the ending was great and it’s just edging me to watch Part 2 & 3 now.
