Closer to the personal portrait than to the sport, this documentary cannot avoid falling into sensationalism to build the profile of an imperfect legend. And although it is true that it tries to humanize him, it does so by recreating in the worst moments of his life, through interviews with former friends who give off a certain resentment. Although the description of the character is not profound, it does raise interesting questions about racism in sport and the price of fame.
I hate Jim, ruins the show every single time he shows his face...
I know it's just celebrities giving trophies to other celebrities but I find it quite entertaining :P
Mostly the recommendation engine on this site is just laughable. But, likening this great concert to "Glee 3D" that's just insulting.
This is one of the greatest comedies of all time. OF ALL TIME. Sadly I'm not shocked to read the other comment here that hated it because I've run into a few other yahoos in the world that feel the same way. I don't get it at all but to each their own, ya know? I've never laughed harder at a movie the first, second, third, 10th time I watched this. Hahah just remembered my avatar pic is Grubes. Anyway love this movie. Supes hoping they deliver on a Christmas themed Die Hard inspired sequel. Go for Grubes.
Lovable animated Christmas film I hadn't watched till last year. I think I will rewatch it every Christmas now.
I keep coming back to this every Christmas. Properly British humour that hits the spot for me.
