'73 Yards' was a properly eerie and creepy episode, with some actual horror elements and gorgeous cinematography too. Really strong performance by Millie Gibson as well. Doctor Who inevitably faces some limits when tackling with horror themes, given the show's PG rating, but they definitely found the perfect balance here, delivering a legitimately haunting and at times quite unsettling story.
Me: "There's no way they can even come close to being as good as the last episode."
Also me: "OH MY GOD IT WAS EVEN BETTER"
An amazing episode, with stories and threads that will likely make much more sense later on. Suspense, mystery, and emotion, all masterfully woven together.
a true celebration that stopped the whole country
A good-hearted and surreal work of imagination. Great writing and nuanced characters. The audience was laughing throughout and it managed to be touching without being cheesy.
One of the best science fiction movie, the story is great and full of possible science facts, the actors are really convincing, the direction is perfect. If you are a science fiction lover, this movie is a must.
The new seasons feel too long with more filler content.
It was everything they said it would be and then some! Supreme spectacle with otherworldly intensity. Fan first was an experience I’ll never forget. A film for the ages. Long live the fighters!
I think we were all ready to see Maya going, lasting 10 episodes out of pity. But Plasma didn't shine for real and as it's been said a lipsync for your life should count. At the same time they were the same splits (with slightly more passion), anyway, we will never get rid of her...
Just like Priscilla…. I too felt trapped at Graceland. Inside this boring movie. The score is terrible. The story feels so empty and just jumps from scene to scene from their relationship. It also rushes an ending in a movie that dragged on and on. Cailee Spaeny was good and that’s about it.i hate when biopics on artist do movies with out the artists music in it.
The story of Priscilla and Elvis. We all know it…. But this movie kind of sucked…. There is absolutely no emotion between Elvis and Priscilla…. You can see them acting and badly. Also the height difference, wow! Too profound…I know it was there to prove a point but it goes into creepy…. And the courtship in the beginning really did have creepy vibes. I think this movie does not represent accurately…. No Elvis music…. Ok this pales in comparison to the Elvis movie of Baz…. Disappointed…
I loved it. Ruby is brilliant. I don't get how people can say that the 15th isn't doctor-like. Basically Matt Smith's doctor no? I'm hyped.
I'm loving this new doctor who and Ruby. Really laughed at the end. Hope spring will be here soon. It's been a while since I've been excited for doctor who. Thanks Russel for coming back!
I'm holding space for the fact that i might be a dumb dumb but I truly don't understand the purpose of this season. like broadly what the overarching goals of the story are. the shift from season 1s serialized plot structure to more episodic fair is deeply confusing for me
This is not the last episode, right? The ending makes no fucking sense.
What was the moral of this story? That there is no moral in Hollywood? Also the grown-ups are even worse than the kids. Seriously. Eli Roth goes from being so annoyed with their performances to being super enthusiastic. Like wtf?! Joslyn thrusting all over Eli Roth was a cringe fest. Why was this drama with Joslyn's ex introduced at all? And then she says Tedros is the love of her life? What in the actual hell? Why did we all watch this? Why was this made? This is not serious.
What a fake deep and non-sensical ending. I have a headache after watching this.
I am not really sure on the message of the end. Does she realize she couldn't do this without Tedros, or does she go back to her abuser after seemingly breaking free of him? Straight trash.
Enough already! I stopped watching half-time through this episode. What a piece of crap. The participating actors promised some quality, they just don‘t deliver. The writing seems to be from a bunch of 14 year olds. The mysoginy is off the charts. The young girl with the interesting lyrics is the only decent charcter in this show. The rest of them I despise.
At this point, I don't even know why I'm making myself suffer by watching this sht.
But seriously……..what was HBO thinking?
This show is absolutely awful. The cinematography is decent, but everything else is so bad. Art is subjective and people's views are different, but just on a base level, this show isn't art. It's "im14andthisisdeep" levels of writing.
Truly, truly painful to watch. Terrible. Shit. Trash. Big yikes.
the protags get somehow more emotionally immature and embarrassing to the point where i'm incredibly confused over whether we were ever meant to root for them, every scene in this gets increasingly more miserable and self masturbatory in how it puts its characters through complete torture with no payoff and it's sealed off with revoltingly homophobic overtones. subversive revolutionary writing at work i guess!
this is the first time that I did rate a tv serie with 1. zit should be 0. Garbage.
