Why was my comment deleted? It did not break any rules nor was it disrespectful in any way. I came here to reply to the person who commented my message and I saw it's gone. I will repost it since it did not break the rules. The comment could also be helpful to the newcomers who might think this is a brand new show.

Why in the world is this marked as separate show and the one from 2005 marked as Ended? This is not a reboot, but a direct continuation of the previous episode The Power of the Doctor! I know they want to call the new season Season 1 because of Disney Plus, but it is not, it's actually Season 14. It makes no sense at all. Not to mention that the specials also reference previous seasons. This is not like a reboot from 2005 when newcomers could just start watching from there and ignore Classic Who. Newcomers can't start from here! I don't understand why it couldn't say Season 14 on Disney. All the previous seasons could be imported at some point once the whatever deal they have with BBC expires (I assume that's what is stopping them from putting them on the platform right away).
This is just insane, an insult to the fans, Jodie (doctor not regenerating into her clothes), Chibnall, everyone...
How do we organize our collection now and sync with Trakt? I don't want to label it as a separate show. What's interesting is that IMDB and TVDB show seasons correctly and have Season 14. TMDB does some weird stuff.
Update: If someone is wondering how to organize the collection in Plex, just follow TVDB and it will be shown correctly.
Makes no sense why they insist on rebranding this as a new show. Just making it even more confusing for new watchers.
EDIT: After the first few episodes - not really on board yet with the writing and stories so far. BUT Ncuti and Millie are absolutely fabulous and amazing.
I don't really know how to put in words my love for this show. This was a very satisfying finale and the description could not be more perfect.
We got the answers we needed but its up to us whether we want to believe them. I believe Nora but it doesn't matter. This has always been a love story between two very broken people. Kevin realizing he has been just running from his life and just keeps coming back (see the end of every season). He becomes obsessed about finding Nora and him coming up short for all those years is truly heartbreaking. Nora finding her children and realizing that she is not needed. Spending all that time to just look at them from a distance and see them one last time. They fixed their problems the best the could. In the end, when they finally get back together, they are honest with each other and can be happy together, no more bullet proof vests and bags over the head. The last shot was beautiful with the two of them in a house and the messages of love coming back home. This was a surprisingly happy ending to an overall very depressing show and I'm ok with that.
This is one of, if not, the greatest TV shows ever.
This show goes in the right direction every. single. time. I thought there was no way they could keep Kendall alive but that is why Jesse Armstrong is writing this show and not me.
This is again an episode to rival the heights of season two. A power keg is being set up here with bombastic consequences. Every time you take the Roy’s out of New York, their true colors reveal themselves in ways so riveting. This is excellent television.
It's like that game where the players are tossing a ticking bomb around and around hoping it won't explode in their hands but in someone else's. And I know this is not what Logan meant in the season premiere when he said they can't just throw bombs without getting themselves burnt as well, but seeing Ken and Shiv ruthlessly dumped by their father after one navigated the deal from behind and the other actually saved the day reminded me of that quote a bit.
Interesting peak at halftime, Roman and Jerri seem to be getting the upper hand so far by playing along nicely, we'll see how long that lasts. Also Connor was fucking hillarious, he keeps upping his game episode by episode, maybe that will blow up in his face at some point?
Shining a light on one of Sweden's annual festivals, this documentary will thrill you, enthrall you, and remind you never to visit the country. I'm joking, of course. This is another imaginative horror from director Aster that, like Hereditary, will give you more to think about than the average cookie cutter genre outing.
A unique, disturbing and quite beautiful horror film with trippy visuals, grotesque violence and graphic moments that once you see them, YOU CAN'T UNSEE THEM. Ari Aster continues to shock and amaze with a detailed exploration of pagan rituals, mysterious communites and heartbreak inside a dying relationship; through the running time, this film bringing cathartic moments of psychological (and at times physical) pain, delusion and insanity. At its very core, Midsommar is a perfect nightmare experience that gets even better once you unheart the demented horrors hidden in plain sight.
If you don’t know Mary Shelley’s true story this movie is a great way to start knowing the person behind the writer.
As all biopics it lefts a lot of stuff out and changes a bit of the biography so it can be more cinematic. If it wasn’t for the young actors you might think this movie is from the early 2000 but even though the movie lacks a bit of action and is mainly focused on the dialogues the best parts of it are left unsaid, just veiled enough so the viewer can imagine them, but without saying them out loud, that though doesn’t work as well because it’s a biopic so a trip to Wikipedia after will solve pretty much every doubt, but despite its flaws Elle Fanning’s performance makes it worth watching.
Can you believe Jaden Smith started the Gay Rights Movement.
The style of this film is honestly the main thing I like about this film. But essentially that covers a lot of ground if we simply split a film into style and substance; the boundaries of which blur as each affects and is affected by the other.
As another reviewer mentioned, the essence of the style feels Wes Anderson-esque but set in a more modern, realistic world. I for one, extremely enjoyed this in the framing, camerawork, character styles, editing and story structure.
One thing I'm not sure about was the character of Earl. But as I think about it, maybe it's just because he wasn't the type of character I was expecting.
I can see why people wouldn't like this film but that's exactly why I do like this film. It's like someone who's unapologetically themselves - can't please everyone.
Just writing this review as made me up my rating by 1/2 a star.
