What an episode, what a finale! A thrilling conclusion to the story and top-notch acting might make this the best episode of this season and maybe even one of the best ones in the whole show. Can‘t wait for next season.
I'd lick a table for $20,000
Not sure what this season is about yet, but I'm having trouble dealing with the lack of wrinkles and changes of shape in the faces of Aniston and Witherspoon. They look like a Madamme Toussaud's version of themselves. Fortunately there's Julianna Margulies: wrinkled and beautiful and looking like an older version of her younger self.
When the end appeared on screen, it made me speechless. The Twelves, complex criminal organization, gathered in one place and were murdered in just 1 minute by a single assassin. Villanelle’s death is no surprise for me but how it executed is very disappointing.
There are no clearly answer to many plots i.e. who killed Kenny, who actually run the Twelve, who pulls the triggers on Villanelle, what about Konstantin’s daughter. Pam’s storyline was intrigued at first but end with such a light impact to the main story. I feel like this season has more filler than plot-driven episodes.
What the hell? Four seasons and now they want to kill off Vilanelle?
Plus, taking a daughter for an “adventure” and outright killing someone’s person is barely measurable. What the heck. I hope this isn’t what happened. I do realise the show has Eve’s name, not hers, and I realise the title, but still.
What the heck. No.
In other news… the 12 started as a student atheist group? Or were they already assassins and agents all of them? Hmm.
they're just spinning their wheels at this point, even the air guitar scene just felt like the writers' room going hey let's get Fiona Shaw to do air guitar! the fans'll love that! for absolutely no reason other than to get Fiona Shaw to play air guitar. absolutely pointless season
Sandra Oh doing the best she can with weakass material, only she is escaping this season with her dignity intact
I thought they were going to drag the whole Christianity storyline through the whole season. I'm glad that's over.
I'm so hyped that this is back on TV and so devastated they killed Kenny. He deserved better.
This episode gives me Harry Potter vibes. Esp. the statue with the raven.
Great stuff from Christian Serratos this episode. Overall, a nice way to end my favourite television show.
The show had its up and downs.
But honestly I found the last season a high tick up in quality over the last few & it felt like a return to form, so I'm glad it ended in a bang (pun intended).
One thing that did prevail thru the up's and down was the cast. They were the heart of the show and put their all into every episode. Many giving performances that are wave above & beyond cable TV. The show gets a ton of hate, but overall I'd say it was a fun journey & I'll definitely miss it.
Thanks for the wild ride & I'm excited to see what they do with TWDU.
P.S - Haters who comment on LITERALLY every episode, can ya'll please just NOT watch any of the other shows & b*tch non-stop no matter how good it is? It will make all of our lives a lot easier :)
All in all a decent episode. I particularly loved the moment where they pull up Negan (and Annie) to be executed but the group intervened. I love how they hinted back at the iconic deaths of Abraham and Glenn through the way it was set up. But in the end nothing really happened right? No major deaths, no shock... it ended with a fizzle.
So now it's only two more episodes and that's that. I hope they bring the action... pump it up! I will not be satisfied if everyone comes out of this alive.
I just enjoyed the episode. After years watching this show; I still don't understand people complaining... Just don't watch it. Plain simple. :)
OMG Milad, you’re such a fucking idiot. I don’t understand what Tamar sees in him.
Best episode in recent times..
Dullest episode ever and I've seen every one
if watching Daryl fix his bike and Carol make soup while hunting a rat is your idea of a good walking dead episode, i'm sure you were glued to your seat during this, i however was bored out of my skull. thank god we only have one more of these filler episodes left
Quite possibly one of the most useless episodes of television I've ever seen
The many adventures of Carol and Daryl. Today Dog will knock over Carol's soup, Carol will capture a rat, let it free, and chase after it on the floor, Daryl will fix his bike with some black cords he tore from cars, and Carol repeatedly stabs a wall with a knife. Spare yourself.
These "exra" episodes sort of feel like they are COVID filler episodes - one to 3 actors, socially distanced, and telling stories that, honestly, dont move the story along more than just give filler "a day in the life" of a character.
This one is another one of these. It's the Carol and Daryl show. (Many years ago, when Carol was the cookie making housewife of Alexandra, I said I could see her and Daryl having a 1960's style comedy - the happy couple. She cooks and cleans and gets blood stains and oil out of the clothes, and Daryl is fighting Zombies at the door and fixing up his bike in the garage....). They part ways (I love how Dawg goes with Carol. He knows where the soft home life is). Carol goes back and wants to be helpful in some way. And Daryl is just being Daryl - scavenging, surviving and look cool doing it.
Next episode might be about them watching the paint dry on the wall.
Ever watched your grandma chase a rat around the house and think I should write a tv episode about this? No? Me either.
Enjoyed this episode. First one in a while. I really like that Maggie's back.
