Bravo Eddie!!
Amazing movie!!
Alicia Vikander was AMAZING too!
I love it.
Beautiful movie. Seemed a bit cliche to me from the trailers. Like Book of Life or Corpse Bride cliche. In some cases it is but the movie is touching and charming throughout.
Sure Disney has made many films about staying true to yourself and following your dreams. Coco, however is still one of their best like that.
I really love this movie. You can feel the Mexican magic every minute. Thank you Pixar for this gorgeous movie!
Enjoyable sci-fi thriller with some neat ideas. A little predictable near the end, but otherwise, this is one of the best films yet from the Netflix stable.
I've always had a deep respect for Gaga, and after her last record it has grown even deeper. This documentary is beautiful and shows a very vulnerable side of her. Would definitely recommend people to watch this.
The only film in the series where Voldemort does not appear in some form.
Absolutely amazing and I just can't find the right words to describe Sunny Pawar in this film. His portrayal of Young Saroo is heartbreaking but so wonderful. What a brilliant little actor he is
It's a classic for a reason! That acting! That overblown score! That wheelchair! Amazing.
I'm not sure how accurate this movie is to the reality of the beginnings of McDonalds, and I'd guess it's probably not very accurate at times, but it was an enjoyable story nevertheless. Good performances especially from Keaton. Never an empty scene so a decent drama.
I'm no expert on the subject matter but I enjoyed the film. Never as deep or as penetrating as it could have been, this is still a reasonable depiction of a true life story.
I've got to admit I was incredibly surprised by what an intelligent, well-paced and fascinating film this turned out to be. It's a film where you pretty much know everything that will happen from the beginning (even if you're unfamiliar with the true story on which it's based) but somehow it doesn't matter.
The best thing about this film is definitely the characters, which are all incredibly complex, multi-layered and fascinating with great dynamics. The actors playing them embody them in a way that feels very real and raw, bringing a strong sense of realism to a film that otherwise feels somewhat otherworldly.
Overall I can't think of any way this film could be improved. It held my interest all the way through and for every second of it, I was totally immersed in the story, characters and world.
This film fucked me the whole way up. Shook. Shooken to the core.
Definitely a great movie and Ryan Gosling is superlative.
If you are in the mood for a different type of cinematic experience then this film will deliver. The cinematography is wonderful, all the actors pull off great performances and when sound is presented to the viewer it is done in a clever manner.
Everytime i watch this movie, i feel like i can die happy.
An absolute masterpiece. No other words.
Absolutely sensational. Well worth the wait for it to come to my theatre! Cate Blanchett is incredible and this film was a masterpiece and I would see it again and again and again.
I was speechless as I was sitting in the theatre watching the credits roll. This movie is spectacular! From music, acting, score, cinematography to the heart wrenching ending. Mind blown. Easily my favourite movie of the year.
Favorite movie ever. Watched for the third time and only get's better!
Great movie. Gyllenhaal's portrayal of a sleazy news vulture is simply amazing. His disregard for the suffering of his "subjects" is acted out so real, you really dislike the guy and of course what he does for a living (although that should go without saying).
A truly vivid portrayal of a real-world psychopath.
Awwie what a nice way to go back into the world od magic and the creatures so cute
this won't be something that gets glowing reviews, and i won't say it deserves them. remaking something like rocky horror with a "modern twist" would be difficult to do well. however, i really thought the casting was spot-on for most of the roles!
One of the rare "Based on a true story" movies that is actually quite accurate in it's depiction. I was worried that it might "Hollywood" up the story to gain more widespread appeal but it didn't.
If you have seen Citizen Four then the general idea of the movie will be familiar, however it runs Godfather 2 style flashbacks to give more details about how everything came to be and a more personal look into Snowden's life. Which was the only thing I missed from Citizen Four, so I'm glad they chose this was to tell the story.
Acting is fantastic all around and Joseph Gordon-Levitt absolutely nailed his role. I also liked that they didn't try to over-villainise anyone (except for one occasion that was a bit over the top) and more focused on that it was just a system that was out of control, with people just "following orders".
Having just watched the film, I gotta say: if this doesn't make you disgusted with how our government has treated not only its own people but other countries' civilians, then nothing will. Just a note: Republican or Democrat, both parties contributed to this surveillance disaster! I'll end the rant by saying this movie is good, and the ending was incredible, but has a lot of slow parts. With that, the only fair way to end this: Pardon Snowden Already, Obama.
Wild ride from start to finish. In the beginning I thought the acting was questionable but either it got better or you just kinda figured that that's the way the characters where. It was fucking amazing, tbh.
This is one of my favorite movies, such a nice story and beautiful art!
The Duo James Franco and Seth Rogen is the best ! Ridiculously Good :D
Wow, just wow! Brie Larson is fantastic!
