Dat intro was pretty cool!
This is the most I've cared about the human story in any transformers. It has a lot of heart and is quite funny too. The music is fantastic and it never lets you forget you are in the 80s. Hailee Steinfeld is great and John Cena does what he does best. The action isn't too over the top. There are definitely the way too much CGI parts but those are few and far between. I would like to see more prequel stories with new people every time without Michael Bay.
Dr. Nollette's voice sounded awfully familiar, so I looked him up.
Turns out, he played Dr. Mora in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (the Bajoran scientist who worked with Odo), and Dr. Ma'Bor Jetrel in Star Trek: Voyager (the Haakonian scientist who developed the Metreon Cascade, the weapon that was used to destroy Neelix's home planet). Now I know why I didn't recognize the face: It's the first time I've seen James Sloyan perform without alien prosthetic makeup!
With reviews like “anti-entertaining”, I wasn’t expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised! Granted it isn’t anything new but it’s run-of-the-mill fare done well. Supremely watchable. Ties into the larger DCEU including Peacemaker in believable fashion. The only part I was sad about was the death of a very interesting character so soon after their introduction. Hope they are brought back in some form later.
the same story as 'an american werewolf in london'
One of my favourite episodes of the series.
How did no one point out that using pheromones to seduce people into sex is rape? Someone who is under the influence of pheromones that make them attracted to someone can't consent, that's like saying a person who's so drunk they can't see can consent.
Brad Dourif absolutely kills it in this episode. Such an amazing actor.
It was funny how Michelle was leading Scully and Mulder with her car and it was raining heavily but after she crashed, BAM, rain gone! XD
how could a film that bases an entire storyline around a Ratatouille joke not be absolutely fantastic?
Great animation, mind blowing visuals, tremendous story arc, amazing humour and pays homage to the late Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. The post credits scene was funny as fuck.
Everything is great about this movie...except Quintin Tarantino's painful scenes as Jimmie. At least now we see him in his films a lot less these days. I liked him as a villain in the show Alias though.
Anyway this movie is a classic. Although in a way it is sad that Vincent and Mia is the perfect couple that could never happen. Due her being married to his dangerous crime boss.
A movie that's filled with tasty burgers and good milkshakes.
It was surprisingly good. I liked it and I look forward to watch season 2.
Wonderfully animated, funny take on the Batman universe with characters you expect to see and many you don't, hello Jaws! A lot of the jokes will fly over kids heads but the constant bombardment of wisecracks means this doesn't matter. It seems the Lego movies will run and run (on tiny blocky legs) if they match the quality of this film, where everything is indeed awesome.*
One of my Favorite Movies. Have seen it more then 5 Times and still like it.
'Back To The Future' is one of the most enjoyable time-travelling classics. It's over 23 years old and it still hasn't gotten old. Sadly, they don't make it like this these days but then again we always can revisit them. That's why they're classics. Let your imagination fly.
I got to say that I have not been mind fucked by a movie like that in such a long time..
It is the kind of movie that mid way you would say "I do not understand anything", and by the end of the movie you would say.. "Fucking Hell, Now I get it. I Wish I didn't but I do"
I am just scared from the way that they keep upping the plot twists and endings of movies that at some point in time you would be watching a movie and then you would realize that it has all been a trick and that you are actually not watching a movie at all..
Another thing that below me away through out the movie was the performance of Sarah Snook. While still not over her creepy performance in Jessabelle. She really took me by surprise with her performance.. I have not seen before someone who can say so much with just their eyes.. I can tell that the 28 year old Aussie is going places after this..
On Rotten Tomatoes, The film has a "certified fresh" score of 82% based on 71 reviews with an average rating of 6.8 out of 10.
The critical consensus states "Fun genre fare with uncommon intelligence, Predestination serves as a better-than-average sci-fi adventure and offers a starmaking turn from Sarah Snook."
On Metacritic The film also has a score of 68 out of 100 based on 22 critics, indicating "generally favourable reviews"
If you are ready to be mind blown all the way, watch it but make sure to not miss anything cause it will add to the inevitable sense of "What the fuck was that? that you already going to get when you watch it attentively.
Just throw logic out the window and enjoy the film as it is. Lots of religious symbolism and torture sequences. But really well made. Amazing cinematography minus the obligatory flying fight scenes. Some hilarious scenes and very clean no vulgarity.
Got to say, what a control freak. Would hate to work with him.
I did not expect to like this one as much as I did! While I would say that the bucket for vampire movies is getting too crowded, I will certainly not fault an entertaining one for this!
The characters are rather quirky and it's shot mockumentary style (like The Office) which might be off-putting for some but you have at least give them credit for going through a variety of jokes here! Oh, and let's not forget Stu! Everyone loves Stu!
Absolutely disgusting, but I think that's the point so I guess it succeeded in that manner.
This is a bland and cheap attempt to cash in on the "hip era" of horror movies made popular in the 90s by Scream.
One of the best seasons of AHS (my personal favorite tbh).
“Nice car, centrelink”, “pack it up, eleven”, that’s all I needed to hear before knowing I loved this show.
This show feels great already. Love the fast-pace of it all. Doesn't waste time getting into characters, it just lets them be and gives you what you need from there. I felt like I was in the kitchen.
are you even an ally if you don't drop an episode at the beginning of pride month where an uncensored naked dude enters the dickhole of his lover? are you?¿?
