Forgive my lack of acting skills but how the hell does Jared play doe-eyed perfect bby Sam and also evil, soulless, villain Sam? He goes from golden retriever to hellhound real fast lol.

@drusjella it happened in the lucifer storyline too and i was blown away. he's really good at playing lucifer sam vs sam sam
That was fun as hell...best part is in the car when home girl makes robot sounds as she slowly Jack knifes her legs, swivels and kicks dudes face off with her foot bones bahahahaha priceless

@mr-sackamano my favourite was "smokes only cost 6 dollars in Arkansas! (cue crazy eyes) You FUUUCKED UP!"
Again blackfacing Annabeth.
You know how fun it is to recognize a character in advance cause you read the books? Like Dionysos and others...But then there's Annabeth: tall, blonde,....
She's a fucking small brunette here just to cast a Black person in it...
When will people finally learn that replacing anu character with another etnicity for the sakebof having this etnicity is also so fucking terribly racist! This shit is so racist.

The author of the books, Rick Riordan, said in the very beggining, when they were announcing the auditions to Percy that they were looking for a good actor who could represent the personality of the character, they weren't looking for any specific race.
I don't see you complaining about Grover... he's a redhead, that in the official illustrations of the Demigod Diaries is also white, while in the TV show he's not like that.
Besides, it's not like they're changing a classical figure or smth with the only justification of being inclusive. it's a teen book collection, where they put Annabeth black bc they liked the actress, would you like more a shitty actor, that would be physicality like in the books, someone who couldn't play Annaneth as well as Leah did?
I would also had loved seeing them like in the books, a Percy with brown hair, blonde of the gray eyes Annabeth, and many other things... but they were not being racist just bc they didn't do that.
they're not being racist, grow up bro.
A movie with an identity crisis. It doesn’t seem to know whether to be a comedy or a horror movie. I lost interest before it was half way through and never recovered. The rest of the movie was background noise while I did some other work. I wonder how long Disney will last as a profitable conglomerate at this rate of decay.

you know there are movies called horror comedies right and this is what it is
I have almost died of boredom...

Why don't you just drop it then? This was one of the best episodes so far, it's not going to get better.
The writing in this season so far has been pretty terrible. The new characters are a military group that commit genocide against other survivors for no reason. And leave their dead bodies outside of the walls to deter zombies even though they have massive concrete fucking walls. Then they kill people who are sick but not dead even though they have medical supplies, makes perfect sense. There is little to no logic left on this show anymore, everyone is just fucking crazy and idiotic. Why would their helicopter randomly be shot down in their own territory, why did the father randomly decide to jump out of the fucking helicopter and why did Alicia let him? Why did Jake disarm Alicia before telling her to walk off alone into the zombie infested Forrest, why did everyone stand around and watch when Jake was about to shoot the injured girl for no reason, why were those Mexicans about to kill the only doctor they have just because he didn't know how to deliver a baby..NOTHING MAKES SENSE. I was just shaking my head throughout the entire episode, might have to drop the show if this nonsense continues.

@adecool He jumped out because he was going to die and turn. He did it to protect Alicia
I am so over everyone covering themselves in walker blood. It's beyond overused now.
loading replies
@redshirt Don't you wear a swimsuit every time you go to the pool or it's too much overused ? Things are as they are. If you know how not be bitten, you use it NO ? t's like you said " Oh, they killed the Walker again with a gun, and in the head.. oh, it's always the same... Oh this man use his Spade for digging his garden..." LOL
Since when the dead turn in 10 seconds after a heart attack?

@balazs955 Right, but almost instantly seemed unusual
I really enjoyed this episode. Some action, some exploring, some character development, strong Dead Island vibes. Honestly I have no idea why people hate on this show. It's only on its second season but people already whine that it's slow like the forgot the WD was the same in the beginning and still is from time to time. Or some idiots say how they don't care about these characters. Did anyone instantly care for Rick and his group? Of course not. It's a work in progress. And let's be real these guys are just starting out and the apocalypse is all new and fresh and yet they are already kicking a lot of ass, maybe even more than the WD characters did in their first couple of seasons and they were more seasoned from the start.

THANK YOU!! I agree with everything you said. It's definitely not a bad show and it wouldn't be realistic with super skilled and/or zombiesmart characters in the beginning of an outbreak.
How did Rick survive for a month without food or someone changing his IV? Wouldn't he have more of a beard after a month? Why didn't they check the hospital for survivors? Someone had time to barricade a bunch of walkers in, but they didn't take the time to check for people in a coma? In a hospital? And why is Shane kissing Rick's wife? I'm only watching this because the 14yo wants to, but I think I'm going to become irritated very quickly.

complaining about how accurate a show about zombies is lol
Everything is great about this movie...except Quintin Tarantino's painful scenes as Jimmie. At least now we see him in his films a lot less these days. I liked him as a villain in the show Alias though.
Anyway this movie is a classic. Although in a way it is sad that Vincent and Mia is the perfect couple that could never happen. Due her being married to his dangerous crime boss.loading replies
@jim222001 I've always said he should have cast Eddie Murphy as Jimmie. Just imagine Eddie delivering the line "Don't fuckin' Jimmie me, Jules!"
Enjoyable but incredibly overrated and an absolutely terrible ending.

@aldy you tripping the ending was perfect. the blocking, the framing, the build up, the explosions, the last line of the movie, the music all add up the best ending of any movie ever made.
Hope my great-grandkids will see this movie.

@jensdl hey, yeah im still alive lol. Gonna watch the movie on Wednesday.
But i have no great-grandkids so far. Not even children lol.
“Nice car, centrelink”, “pack it up, eleven”, that’s all I needed to hear before knowing I loved this show.

Lockers? In an Australian school? Since when?
Another brilliant episode. Still in awe of the breathtaking visuals and the amazing score. The acting is really good as well and just overall very good storyline so far.

@roanoke860 I hope one day you recognise what is objective and what is subjective. Strange that you can feel so confident your opinion is fact when millions don't agree.
are you even an ally if you don't drop an episode at the beginning of pride month where an uncensored naked dude enters the dickhole of his lover? are you?¿?

@bobdole12 I would argue that's the most ally thing you can do
This movie would be way funnier if we weren't living it.

I’m quite astonished that it isn’t banned as many films on YouTube or FB.
Too many diehards giving their "critical" review after being butthurt it doesn't exactly match their expectations. Take their reviews with a grain of salt.
If you go into the show and just ENJOY it for everything it offers, then you will not be disappointed. I've already fallen in love with the characters and the amazing scenery. The acting is on par and the budget is as expected for Amazon!
The only complaint I have is that the orc seemed a bit OP, like fr they didn't seem that strong from the movies, but I digress. Overall, I am thoroughly impressed so far and can't wait to see where it goes!
loading replies
@macbethjonathan-gmail-com I actually really liked the orc. Remember, there's been no threats or war or conflict for many years at this point. NOBODY has seen an orc before and suddenly it's right there, savage af, in your living room. And you are unarmed.
Makes perfect sense that the orc's an actual, genuine threat. In LOTR it took trained soldiers and heroes to defeat them after all.
--- WARNING - SPOILER N' STUFF ---
Nobody else think that the way Gus walked out of that before he collapsed was a bit stupid? Sure he's tough and seems like he doesn't feel anything, but seriously, to stop and adjust his tie?! It just didn't feel right to me...loading replies
@tjasprg He was still walking after he died, like a headless pollo (chicken).
