Filoni and Favreau have done it folks in my world. Let me have the shows and the kids can have the new movies. Good compromise.
First episode was really amazing! Great pace, no silly fillings, all the Star Wars ingredients; from the mood, the races, the peculiar way of filming and transitions. Humor was nice and mild, but never overdone. I can't wait for the rest! <3
And that, kids, is how you make vegan propaganda.
Edit: And by that I mean that I wanted to see an experiment but they clearly were biased towards methods, data, results, etc.
5 episodes in on Season 3 and it's.... incredibly mediocre so far. The writing and the fights have taken a big hit on quality.
This was a very weak season compared to the first 2. It wasn't exactly 'bad', but the vast majority of it was totally aimless and felt like a monumental waste of time. Felt like the last couple of episodes were the only parts worth watching. They made a big mistake continuing Grogu's story from the end of S2 in The Book of Boba Fett show instead of S3 of this one.

A very cool season that starts kind of slow, but really picks itself up the second half. I loved the way they keep expanding the story of the Mandalorians in the Star Wars universe as I believe they are one of the most interesting characters in the series.
It continues to be the best (disclaimer: haven't watched Andor yet) spin-off show in the franchise. I liked seasons one and two better. I guess, I liked the space cowboy vibe of the earlier seasons better....
This third season is well produced, has all the nice costumes, stages and FX that became a trademark of this show. Score is again awesome. And yet, the season's ranking is worse than the mean of all episodes' It simply doesn't tell a concise story. It takes forever before you realize what the main story is supposed to be. Some parts of the story seem to be totally unrelated to the overall story. Even totally inconsequential. It often feels like an open world-game. They have created this huge open world and sometimes they decide to tell side-quests rather than an actual story.
It's absolutely worth a watch though. Just don't expect a complex story. Enjoy the visuals and the cute kid and you'll have a couple of hours of innocuous entertainment. Cleaned from all edginess by the Disney corporation.
I didn't realize it was over... And was watching the finale. Realized it about halfway through. I'm seriously upset this gem of a show is over. The characters are great, and so is the style.
Yes, it's not Gravity Falls. Is it supposed to be? Honestly... People and comparing things. Just enjoy things for what they are.
This show is supposed to be this way. That finale was incredible anyway.
That final version of Luz, I have to say was so awesome. The Titan one. The line she says while ripping Belos off the heart is my fave in the series
[Disney+] If the first season brought a kind of western tonality that differentiated it from other "Star wars" stories, even more developed throughout an irregular S2 but sometimes even better than the first, in S3 the Mandalorian has completely lost the North, the story doesn't know where it is going, it looks sideways at the narrative structure of "Andor" (2022) without being able to catch up with it and only in the final episodes does it seem to return towards a plot that ends up being too much debtor of the conventional stories of the saga. This should definitely be the last season.
I'm so concerned, nothing at all keeps happening episode per episode.
I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this yet! I was sceptical at first about connecting with a protagonist that never shows his face, but Pedro Pascal’s voice and performance, the storyline and Grogu (baby Yoda) and, now, the addition of Kate Sackhoff to an already exceptional cast, have completely won me over. I’ve been rating the episodes a steady 8 (great) but, noticing how excited I am when a new season drops, so I probably should increase my rating. I give this series a 9 (exceptional and canon rich) out of 10. [Star Wars Adventure]
I watched the show 2 times. It's not enough ever.
They've been getting pretty fast and loose with the story this season.
I understand you're not supposed to think too hard, but even a fifth grader would call bs in more than a few instances.
Favareu sets up fun situations, but fails to get there believably. Not necessarily mad at it, but it's uninspired.
Art design and world building is outstanding, and I'm still all in on the cuteness train!
I also love that they never invented railings. Seriously though, it does make for some stunning architecture and open spaces, but you know OSHA would be soiling themselves.
Season 3 is a few steps down in quality from the previous seasons. ITs not bad, but just not as superb as before.

A very fun, hilarious, charming, and beautiful series from beginning to end. I absolutely loved the character development, ideas, environments, and themes that The Owl House covers. This will definitely go down as one of Disney's most memorable series. Such a shame it got canceled because it could have gone further with much more seasons.
It's true that Season 3 is not a good as the first two, but it's not bad at all. Almost all episodes have something amazing that you can enjoy. There's enough great action sequences to go around and Grogu's cuteness still doesn't get old. It just lacks a bit in the story departement, which is a bit of a bummer, but by now we have to accept that we have a small Mando-universe on our hands and I'm sure that everything that we've seen will come together eventually. As season 3 goes, I still enjoyed the hell out of it and I'm sure we'll see a glimpse of Din Djarin & Grogu in Ashoka later this year. And I can't wait.
I really enjoyed this. This is really building up now. I think we'll see Moff leading some Mandalorian. Should be fun to see. I still don't fully trust Greef and think he could be behind a few things... But I hope I'm wrong.
I loved seeing Zeb  probably the best part for me! I hope we see him again! The fights and battles were great. I then love seeing Bo-Katan being asked to remove her helmet and go on her adventure to hopefully reunite The Mandalorians . So much story can come from this and so much possibility. I hope it ends good. Plus, we got big builds for The First Order and how Mod could be a major part. Loved it! My only grumble is it was too short... As they all are
This season is so much better if you can binge it. I couldn't imagine watching these one-at-a-time.
Excellent story arc. The story told in Season 3 goes far beyond fight scenes. Season 1 dropped us into a world where this 'Mandalorian' type existed and we got to know them as mercenaries, and Season 2 gave us some backstory about the Forge, but now in S3, we're learning a whole lot about the culture and history. Kudos to the developers who are really fleshing out (finally!) a Star Wars people group.
The final 2 episodes were good, but the buildup dragged on and on. And they should really decide what to do with Grogu - just being cute and cooing all the time doesn't cut it anymore.
This season's end feels a bit like a series ending to me: Mandalore's back, the Mandalorians are reunited, Gideon's (presumably) dead, Djarin finally adopted Grogu... and goes back to his bounty hunting days. They'd have to do a whole new arc now, hopefully adding some time jump for Grogu to grow up some.
Din Grogu is da best! Every episode he does something more adorable than in the previous episode. lol
Fantastic seri, it's definitely on my top 5! Cant get enough of it.
This show feels like they made filler episodes out of footage that was supposed to be in other shows and called it a day.
Best star wars series ever! Stunning performance from the part of Mando and The Armorer... Everything is perfect from the storyline to the characters being well developed to the CGI. Nothing to say about this show other than regretting not savoring every episode more than I did!
Amazing show but I grew to loathe episodes with Skyler in it. Shes incredibly masculine and very irritating which is perhaps the point. However it took away a lot of the shows focus IMO.
Binge-watched it 3 times so far, and I’m still not done with Breaking Bad. Simply put, it’s brilliant in every way.
