What is this? Marvel's The Hills? It's like Jessica Gao totally ignored who her audience is. The character She-Hulk deserved so much more than to be pictured as a Green Kardashian.
Still waiting for this show to make that extra step and get more than 'just good'.
Oh man.. that ending. So heavy, so sad.
Really slow paced and probably a turn off for a lot of people, but I like it. The show is slowly building up that ominous tension.
I like Michael Cudlitz, don't get me wrong. But the choices made in this episode around the introduction of Luthor were making me feel like I was watching Sons of Anarchy most of the time.
A chaotic episode with new faces that aren't introduced very well and make for confusing scenes. The last scene makes up for a lot of it but for me this is one of the less memorable episodes. An episode without Daemon, Rhaenyra and Viserys just isn't the same. Too much time was spend with less interesting characters.
I like this show, but after 6 episodes I must come to the conclusion that I really dislike Eiza González acting and her character Auggie. Compared to the rest of the cast her performance just feels off and falls short. She looks like she's duck facing half of the time and is more concerned with looking beautiful then delivering a believable en convincing performance. Saamer Usmani's acting is a bit better, but also very flat and artificial in my opinion.
This is the second episode that makes the mistake of focussing too much on an uninteresting side-character. In episode two it was 'Nat' and now it happens again with Jadis. In my opinion Jadis didn't earn the weight to be made so important in this closing chapter. She never had a great build up in the main show or the impact of the Governor or even Negan. It's too bad two out of the 5 episodes so far had this 'focus problem'. I really liked the other three episodes to be honest.
Yet another episode with an almost perfect balance in fun, funny and touching.
It's not bad and pretty fun to watch, but it just needs that little extra to make it a 'good watch'.
Oh wow. I couldn't believe it when the episode ended. This was straight up boring and I was left with the feeling that nothing really happened in this episode. A couple of nobodies were killed and we got a lot of dialogue that didn't move the story in any direction. Ben-Adir fails in bringing tension and danger to the story. He acts like a thug and he doesn't give me the feeling that Gravik is that intelligent.
So far this season is missing that extra bit of magic the prior seasons had. It has it's cool moments, but the story just isn't it for me.
I fell asleep, started again and fell asleep again. Not my cup of tea.
A good episode, but I really had trouble adjusting to the slow pace after the thrilling last two episodes. I didn't like the first few slow episodes and the show switches back to that now it seems.
Building up to total chaos and escalation. I love it!
Fantastic episode filled with great dialogue en politics. There are so many ticking time bombs in this show.
An epic finale to the season with a fantastic 80s/90s feel to it. This is the third season of this show that I've binged in one day. It's mostly fun with some drama here and there. Didn't see that chopped off finger coming
The season had it's moments, but overall it wasn't up to par. A good cast made the best out of it and delivered on some strong scenes.
Ending on a high note, with the storylines coming together in a great way. A fantastic finale to a great first season. Lucy staying silent for something like 30 minutes this episode, listening to her dad and Moldaver (with scenes in between ofcourse) gave so much weight to the scene. Absolutely loved it. Can't wait for season 2.
Best episode so far this season and a great lead up to the finale in my opinion. I had some trouble picking this show back up and I even hesitated to stop watching after a few episodes. Glad I didn't.
Happy the show is back. Excellent first episode.
This show is at it's best when it keeps close to that Punisher/Daredevil vibe. When it strays away from it, it loses a bit of it's strength in my opinion. Still like it a hell of a lot more than shows like Secret Invasion, Ms. Marvels, She Hulk and Moon Knight.
It's a good episode with outstanding performances by L. Jackson and Olivia Colman, but I do have one gripe with this show so far. It's really a matter of personal taste, but I just don't like Kingsley Ben-Adir's acting and I don't buy him as Gravik up until this point.
Great chemistry between Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch made this a really good episode.
The episode runs a bit long, but the first 45 minutes are really strong. The alternate reality where Hitler stands trial is really interesting to see and done in a good way. I want to shout out Carol Kane (Mindy) for her outstanding performance again this season. For me she outshines Al Pacino and that's something.
A bit of a messy finale. I liked this season and even loved a couple of episodes, but I do think this season missed a good villain. I was dissapointed they didn't do more with the V for Vendetta link. Overall I still think this show is great and I enjoy it a lot. Will definitely check in for a fourth season.
This finale really surpassed my expectations. I was really skeptical after the spinoffs were announced and the most liked characters had plot armor. My money was on Rosita to be the 'big death' and I was right, but it worked better than I thought. The scenes between Magie and Negan and Carol and Daryl were the high point for me. Jeffrey Dean Morgan did such a great job turning Negan around and became one of the main reasons I stuck with the show. Over all this last season was decent and I'm happy the show ended on that note.
I'm a bit pissed that they don't just end it here and are turning it in to a universe. Following this show was a 12 year commitment and i do feel enough is enough. Not sure if I'm gonna watch the spinoffs.
This was just in one word fantastic. It's been a long time since I've seen a show land a season's finale this way. I had a lumb in my throat for at least an hour when the drama started to ramp up. In my opinion this last episode is cinema worthy. I loved every second of it.
I've been a fan of Taika Waititi since Boy and What We Do in The Shadows (The 2014 movie) and I'm so glad they gave him carte blance with first Ragnarok and now Love and Thunder. For me it's a perfect match. This may not be one of the best Marvel movies, but it's so much fun. The comedy fits the characters and there's still a lot of (gorgeous) action to enjoy. The fight in the hall of the gods (gold blood) and the one against Gorr in black and white (big 300 vibes) were stunning. The drama was okay and I did enjoy Natalie Portman's redemption. I never disliked her character, but she was sent of like a boss. Christian Bale is on another level when it comes to acting. I loved every minute of him on screen. As a Ted Lasso fan I couldn't believe my eyes when the first post credit scene played. So stoked to see this actor in the MCU.
Welcome back Colin Robinson. Oh how I've missed you . Loved Laszlo's song and felt so bad for him when Colin told him he didn't remember the time they'de spent together.
