This story broke my heart like it did to so many others. So much injustice and pain was inflicted on the Kowalski family and the people responsible should be ashamed. I really hope Jack, Maya and Kyle will get through this and find closure and happiness.
The first decent episode this season. Clear storytelling and some good writing.
It's just a fun show and easy to watch. The action is cool and the story easy to follow. The cast is hit or miss if it comes to their acting performances. William Miller (Adriel) made me laugh at times because of his really cheesy style of acting. His evil laugh is just comedic. The director of this show is clearly a big fan of Alba Baptista's curves. I'm not complaining, but the ammount of cleavage and tight tanktops is a bit much and really unnecessary. You can put her in a hazmat suite and she's still gorgeous.
Listening to Liz Plank talking about men was really awkward. She seems to have quite the short-sighted view on the other sex. I am a 36 year old man and I don't think she said anything that I recognize in myself or my friends. I have a really warm group of friends and we feel totally comfortable with hugging each other and talking about our feelings, problems or doubts. It's 2022 for Pete's sake. A lot of men are really empathic and the complete opposite of what she describes. You should never generalize a group. People are so different from one another. The world would be a boring place if that wasn't the case.
Still think they are doing a decent job with this show. It could have been a complete dumpster fire, but overall I like it. The mix of old and new characters is well balanced and I think they match pretty good. It's light-hearted and goofy and just a fun watch.
These first two episodes just contain about everything that made me love this show all these years ago. Let's hope they can keep this up,.
Oh wow, the downfall of the show has really set in now. I feel bad for Freya Allan. She's trying her best to make something out of an episode that shouldn't have been more than some scenes.
This show is good, but the cast is really hit or miss when it comes to the acting performances.
Unbalanced casting is hurting this show in my opinion. Why is everyone mid twenties and pretty? It just feels wrong. The writing of a couple of characters doesn't fit a young person at all.
Very hard to pick up again to be honest. For a first episode of a season this one just tries to tells too much story in too little time and it confused me a lot.
'Look at what happened to Fred, look at where you are now.' I can almost hear Michael Kelso shouting: Burn!
Watching this show has become my 'feel good moment' of the week. So glad we are getting a third season!
Great show, great story, great cast and a great universe. I wasn't familiar with the comics and it took 3 episodes to get me really interested in this world. Tom Sturridge is stunning and his voice fits the dark character so damn good. The supporting cast has so many good actors/actresses to enjoy: Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Fry and Mason Alexander Park were some of my favourites. The show has a very free way of dealing with sexuality. But where a lot of shows these day have a very forced way of doing this, The Sandman sets an example of how this can be done with care and love. Netflix really needed this W.
Not knowing the comics it took me some episodes to get a grip on this universe, but oh my this is really good. The fight between Dream and Lucifer was so creative and cool. I wasn't familiar with Tom Sturridge, but his voice is freaking mesmerizing.
I'm so happy this show has finally got back to the level it should be on! At this moment it's firing on all cylinders and bangs out one fantastic episode after the other.
I never knew I wanted a combination between No Country for Old Men and Home Alone until now . What a fantastic first episode. Loved Juno Temple in Ted Lasso and loved her in this first episode.
Just a perfect pay-off. Can't wait for next season.
This episode will probably be real hit or miss for people. For me it was a hit. The songs were maybe a bit overdone, but I liked most of them. Tempting the Patrol to stay in the 'music dimension' and being rid of their 'dooms' was an interesting underlying story.
One of the better episodes this season. Peia is an interesting villain/character. The scene with Kyle coming to the farm was awesome.
That moment of butterflies in your stomach when you see your team scoring that equalizer... only to feel it change into a brick when it's disallowed because of the offside rule. Every football supporter knows this feeling. It's the worst. Another great episode.
The guys rocking out to Eye of the Tiger is just straight up legendary!
Another episode, another great quote: ''As a doctor... Smoke more.'' So sweet how he defended Asta and made her feel better in the car.
First Westworld episode in a long time that I enjoyed a lot. The Maeve/Caleb storyline is really growing on me. It's really great to see Aaron Paul acting with decent script to work with again.
I liked the second part of this season a lot more but I still think it's time for this show to end. This season felt like a spinoff to me and it didn't have that real 'You Magic'. The cast outside Penn Badgley was just okay and could have used some stronger characters.
Yes, yes, yes! I love how June and Serena end up together again. Their chemistry is just spectacular. I'm so curious where they will end up in the final season. And how freaking long will it take for Aunt Lydia to finally see the light. I predict she's gonna make a big turn.
''You gotta get yourself one of them lights to make your skin look better, like a flesh light.'':rofl:
A few good scenes this week, but too much time was spend on C and Jay. These characters just don't bring the same performance and quality. I did enjoy the Hale and Caleb scenes though and it's good to have Maeve back. Let's kick some ***!
First episode this season that's up to par if you ask me.
I still enjoy this show although it's really mediocre. But two things...
I like this show, but after 6 episodes I must come to the conclusion that I really dislike Eiza González acting and her character Auggie. Compared to the rest of the cast her performance just feels off and falls short. She looks like she's duck facing half of the time and is more concerned with looking beautiful then delivering a believable en convincing performance. Saamer Usmani's acting is a bit better, but also very flat and artificial in my opinion.
