I was surprised how much I liked this movie! I thought "Alice in Wonderland" was a weird, nearly incoherent movie. But "Through the Looking Glass" actually has a plot that you can follow the ENTIRE way through, and it's a fairly entertaining story involving regret, time-travel and family relationships. A lot of chuckle-worthy moments spread throughout, and it's great to hear Alan Rickman's voice one last time in a film.
I recommend this movie much more highly than the first Alice (perhaps due to the fact that Tim Burton is only a producer & not the director this time). It's family-friendly and visually impressive. And in my opinion, it's worth the extra $$ to see it in 3D for the time traveling sequences alone.
Awwie what a nice way to go back into the world od magic and the creatures so cute
I can't understand why there's such a low rating from critics and stuff. What were they expecting??
The scenery, wardrobe, makeup, everything is so beautiful and colorful. I felt like I was watching a play, a musical, everything was amazing. Emma Watson was a great choice for Belle, Gaston was perfect, the Beast was lovely as expected (Dan Stevens is a great actor - I might think Gaston was a little bit better though) and you're there for Lumiére. He stole the show for me. Ewan McGregor proves again he's the best, most versatile actor ever.
It is exactly the same as the animation, just some changes. It was a great movie overall, I cried like a baby the whole time (favorite 'Disney Princess' tale right here).
I can't understand why people wouldn't like it.
5 MOVIES HOLY SHIT IM SCREAMING IN 98765433478765 DIFFERENT LANGUAGES
I REALLY don't get why most people didn't like it. In my opinion it really worked quite neatly
This movie isn't as bad as everyone made it to be. It's so much better than Fantastic Four and you're an idiot if you even think of comparing them to each other.
