As someone who read the manga this episode still hit quite good, tho I think it could've staged a lil better. Anyways still a great finale. For everyone who thinks next season will even increase in terms of action and violence be prepared it will not. What we will get more is tragedy and suffering. Brace yourselfs.
Akecheta is a fuckin poet. My favorite episode so far. Storytelling, direction, cinematography, score, character developement. Everything was top notch.
Best episode of the show. Did not expect the ending.
that was a hell of a episode.
It's always the same isn't it? Some superrich mfs trying to live forever and control the world..
You could really feel for the deep if he wasn't a serial sexual assaulter..
Seriously why does this show hate marine animals so much..??
Ngl the timelines were confusing af. They overdid it with the turns and twists. It's a downgrade compared to the whole season. Then Maeve lets the bisons run havoc which could've been a bomb sequence, but they staged it halfheartedly, should've better edited, soundmixed and maybe even a better musical theme? But I really liked the non-vocal recaps of the last episodes, they were like great trailers.
I read the manga years ago thats why I'm now watching Ajin. But I really hate netflix' cel-shading visuals. It's even more annoying than in 'Blame', as it was released earlier. Overall really good first episode. Good world building without wasting time. And I really like the score.
I jus realised how much I need a Indiana Jones type of show or movie with these characters.
Pretty sure they could've drowned, gassed, poisoned translucent or whatever, would've been much easier.. Also, if his skin is indestructible why are his pieces all over? The explosion should only effect the insides right?
Ok the ending was quite surprising, didn't expected that. I'm actually abit confused about it. Like, could this mean it really is vr and they are still alive..? Anyways if they really killed them off, on the one hand it's abit shocking off course, on the other I didn't had enough time with them to feel that much for them.
I dont like how Karube instantly was ready to kill Arisu after he was the wolf, like bro you were bffs jus a moment ago. The scenes from the past, which were made to transport the deep friendship between the three, felt artificial to me. I think they gave away the chance to make us really feel their friendship by bad scripting, part of the reason why I didn't felt much for them. And what about Shibuki, besides the sex with her boss, does she not deserve some things from her past which would make us get to know her better..?
Overall I feel like the show could have better staging, acting and score.
Ok this episode has a much better game. We see more players. Some of them willl probably end up as friends or foes in the future. I liked the fight against the first hunter. But overall so far its not much better than lets say the average anime shows 'High Rise Invasion' or 'Btooom'.
Whats funny to me is how often in these kind of shows the main protagonist, who did nothing than being home and playing video games for years, suddenly has the fitness of a triathlon athlete after thrown in such a situation.
The whole sex scene between Chouta and Shibuki was more than abit awkward..
Also I really don't like how often asian shows rely on flashbacks and characters talking to themselfs to explain their motives and actions. I'm a big fan of asian cinema and tv, specially korean and japanese. But while the movies take us viewers seriously the shows often do not and be like we are all plain stupid.
Can the writers let this guy be a good father jus for once in his life tf? I mean he could've joined the next game after he met his daughter anyway, this is so lazy writing. I was suspecting someone has to be undercover in the games or a previous winner, cause in shows like this there always is at least one, but never had a solid hint. And this is the one thing which surprised me in the whole show, never thought it would be the host of the game, and that it will be Il-nam.
Halfway through and the show has become generic cyberpunk. Also Maeve is such a waste in this season so is Bernard. There are also lots of logic flaws now. Like almost ever place is mass surveiled and still they don't ever use face recognition to find Dolores and Bernard? Considering Bernard is the most wanted man it's kinda ridiculous.
Looks like season 3 is going to be a mix of Ghost In The Shell and Battlestar Galactica (2004). So the first episode of the 3rd season wasn't outstanding but was a nice buildup. We get to see things of the real world we didn't get to see until now. Also thought this throughout the whole second season and specially during this episode Evan Rachel Wood would have been a hell of a Terminator.
No way this sickos are replaying imperialisism wtf  also the cgi tiger wasn't all that..
If you think about the racism and violence against the poc this could also be a show in the present, so sad 70 years later we still have to deal with all this shit. I really like the blend of social drama and supernatural. Overall nice first episode even tho I didn't like the cgi monsters but tons of great music specially the 50'es blues songs.
Nothing surprisingly happened, but also nothing superbad. Yea well the hat guy died not so surprisingly, and who might behind it..? Guess, the "not surprise" will be revealed soon.. Anyways now that we have the biggest gaming map of the season I expect some good things in the last episodes.
Horrible editing in this episode..
Was so clear Ali is just to good for himself, Sang-Woo finally showed his true colors and came up with the most stupid unconvincing story and my beyond naive guy Ali be like "Sure bro what you jus said made totally sense lets win together thumbs up, grin", actually Sang-woo kinda already came out as an ass before the second game, well like I always say never trust a broker. Other than that almost everything was as usual predictable and bad staged. Specially ill-nam and gi-huns last scenes.
Only 20 flashbacks in this episode why are the writers holding back? Cmon you can add more so you can have another another turn and another twist and another big secret and another whatnot.. Also is it just me or is the soundmixing getting worse from episode to episode..?
This was actually the worst episode of the season for me until the last 10 minutes changed it. But still it has to much fillers like - once again - the fascistic world scenes of Maeve, and like - once again - some bs journey through Williams mind. It's so repetitive and tiresome.
why does caspar look like kristen stewart?
Aethelhelm's men teleport through 3 countries up and down in lightspeed while Uhtred and his men take weeks.. Also, the black priest how come he always has access to information he couldn't have and then get forced scenes to deliver that infornation to Athelhelm's dude, jus to get the plot on going.. And how come Edward not once wants to talk to Uhtred first when the body was found in his village?? Writing at this point is really bad.
Since the third episode I'm saying the frontman is the cops brother. Shows to predictable. Also, the hosts be like we're showing you our gratitude for making it so far by giving you some cow meat but not treating your big ass wound with a big ass piece of glass sticking out of your belly which also somehow magically Gi-hun never notices, despite she bleeding tons of blood everywhere. Then in the first place why did they even made the glass fuckin explode? Make it make sense.. Whatever idc anymore..
Dolores doin the biggest leak in human history and they stage it like she sent a text msg, don't they have any professional composer and editors anymore?
Never seen so lucky ppl and so many convenient situations ever in a tv show.
Limbrey has probaly the worst lackey ever. Dude is useless.
This is one of the worst written and staged tv show episodes I've ever watched. I won't even go into details but almost every scene is beyond ridiculous or utterly stuipid. It's complete absurd that this episode has a rating of 77%!
Ok so Scooters widow came forward to Peterkin, why is is she silent now?
It must have gone some days until the first court scene, what was Sarah doing until now? Same with Pope, why is he try to figure out the key thing now and not before? This actually should've been their no. 1 priority since they came back but I guess parties and booze was more important..
Even the adults behave like children now lol
Another one of this nice lil lucky coincidences, which happen every few mins in this show, so jus when Rafe is on the veranda theres Wheezies phone jus when Sarahs messaging her, and its not even locked, so nice..
Aaand again Pope is in his grannys house lookin for the key, wonderin where is it, where is it hmmm then a cars lights from outside shins onto the roof and BOOM, luckyyyyy
Omg I won't even go into what JJ tried to do and how unconvincing it was staged..
