This is the most out of touch with reality political nut job show out there. Did they source the most unhinged reddit subreddits for material? Why is everyone gay?
What is this? It feels like I'm watching something else entirely? An hour wasted totally. And that Frenchie Colin c**p? WTF? Where did that come from? And for what exactly? That adds nothing to the story and just destroys the Kimiko storyline they've been building for the past 3 seasons. Why?
This used to be one of my favorite shows, and I'm terribly disappointed at how easily they managed to ruin it... What happened, did Netflix or Disney buy it!?
How did the series suddenly become so 'woke' after the 4th season!?
Firstly, the new addition to the Homelander team turned out to be Afro-American girl, of course...
Secondly, how on earth did Frenchie turn out to be gay? For the first three seasons, he was portrayed as super macho, protecting Kimiko fiercely and showing interest in her, and then they completely reversed his character...
What on earth is happening to TV shows and movies at general these days? There isn't a single decent series left that stands for something without being filled with Afro-Americans and members of the LGBT community...
The story of George "Fentanyl" Floyd causing riots across America that fill open the eyes of Americans purify the degenerates that plague the city. A surreal view of San Francisco in 2024 with no one shitting on the street, no one overdosing near a school, no one robbing a Walgreens, a peaceful and just system. The degenerate classes involves gimmie (gimmedats), ghosts (interlopers with big noses) and (dims) vaccine injured that live in a 'sanctuary district' (not to be confused with sanctuary cites in our time line).
Too bad we didn't get this San Francisco.
It is as if they took the most wild and crazy holocaust survivor fables and run them through a holodex simulation. Nonstop laughter all the way through. I'm glad the show takes a break from the seriousness of earths destruction for these silly comedy focused episodes.
This has to be the worst Star Trek I've ever watched. Why does the main character think they're playing a marvel superhero? Every scene that superhero stands there and shouts off the exact lines needed to progress the plot.
Nothing will top Discovery for the most insulting Star Trek series but this one comes pretty damn close. It feels like it's been written by people who have never seen a Star Trek before. Total disregard for history . Annoying one dimensional characters who are never wrong.
I think the best part about these prequel Star Trek's is that Aldi's woke aspects are failed ships as we know the most stable series already establishes common sense prevails in the end.
Welcome to 2018 where all women are engineer scientist princesses...oops sorry, queens.
This too early to have a filler episode. Waste of an hour. Watch the first 5 mins and last 5 mins. Rest has zero value to story progression.
evil cannot create anything new, they can only corrupt and destroy what is good
Blimey, I went in with already low expectations, but "The Rings of Power" falls short of even those & is a train wreck.
It will take an entire day to point out all of the flaws in this abomination. I'm done.
Bezos & Amazon squandered a billion dollars on this mess.
As a big Tolkien and Lotr fan i absolutely hate how im not even excited about this.....
I can't be the only viewer who rolls his eyes at all the fan service.
Enough of LS, fss! Move on. Do something fresh. Bring in new characters.
Looks PC, SJW, feminism free. Good choice. I like it, reminds me of tales from the crypt and of course the creepshow movies.
Can't stand the fat pity. "I'd choose sexy if I could too". Good news… diet and exercise will get you there. Nothing is going to get handed to you in life. You have to work hard to get results. Isn't that what the dojo is teaching people?
She’s a Liberal twat no than thanks!
Ouch.
The visuals are breathtaking, as already shown by the trailers.
ScarJo is trying, you can tell that she wants this to be her new franchise.
It's edited quite nicely, it's got a (simple) story, and it's coherent.
So where did it go wrong?
One of the problems is that it takes away all of the philosophical depth from the original.
Well, that means you can still enjoy it from a simple action flick perspective, right?
Good luck with that.
This film has such a ridiculous amount of exposition, that it badly hurts the enjoyment of the film.
Many sequences consist of characters just talking to each other, and explaining the plot.
Things are definitely shown, but then the filmmakers don't think we're able to put two and two together, and hence add another explanatory scene.
As a result of that, the film doesn't take its time to develop the characters, meaning you won't care about them.
Top it off with an awful performance from Juliette Binoche, and you have your modern style over substance film.
3.5/10
WTF? Is this pretentious bullshit for real?
Hmm. I watched one episode to give it a chance and not give it a hard pass just because I find the YouTube videos so insufferable. I get that's the point, blah blah, but still watching someone sing annoying on purpose is still annoying, so it's not for me. Unfortunately that extends to this show. The show as a whole is well done and I'm a fan of a lot of people involved. It's not a bad show, I'm just not on board with the character of Miranda. Some people "get it" and find it hysterical but I am not one of them. It's just too broad or something, like all I can think about watching is how much it must hurt her voice to do that nasal thing all the time or how her face has got to get tired having to hold that exaggerated sad/angry face mugging. Just seems painful. And the way she storms around, pigeon toed in her "dorky" clothes, it comes off as trying too hard to me, very much the same way Napoleon Dynamite did back in the day. Like, take it down a few. But again, people do love this and I'm very happy for the creator of the character to strike a chord with fans and find a way to connect with a large audience and score a sweet Netflix show and have it be very well produced. Its a legit show and does not feel like one of those situations of a famous YouTuber taking a step up and it seeming way out of their league. It's just not for me.
loved this, really well directed, very stylish, great soundtrack
It's refreshing to see an original storyline for this genre.
Have to say. The movie is better than i expected and is better than the ratings it got. The screencast was new and very appealing. Wont say its really scary but it i was kinda in the zone while watching. somehow i was hooked to the screen. Defently worth a watch.
The writing is SO bad it's not even funny anymore
It's OK -- they bought the rights to the concept and butchered the original 2012 Swedish version, appropriately titled 'Real' Humans ( https://trakt.tv/shows/real-humans ) - "Äkta Människor". It wasn't adapted from a book, the creator (Lars Lundström) developed it as an original screenplay for Swedish television: www.svt.se/akta-manniskor/
The original was outstanding, both seasons -- by the end of the 1st season of the remake, there isn't anything from the original plot -- it's been simplified and homogenized. The original, with English subtitles, can be found on Vimeo. As they've completely changed the story, no need to worry about spoilers... ;-)

This was very disappointing. My only hope is this is the worst episode of the season.
Well that hostage rescue segment was unfortunately a bit stupid...
Great film, almost flawless however there were couple of core story components that were missing, found in the original Kipling stories. Albeit, they did a fantastic job considering the difficulties that must of been encountered trying to create a film like this with nothing more than a single child actor. Whether or not any actual Jungle locations were used or whether it was a complete studio production is so difficult to spot that it really did not matter. 10/10.
