shocker opener! slow season so far but this spice it up to super hot. lol
This movie is not really a comedy, though it does have Rachel Sennott's brand of humor and jokes peppered throughout. I actually thought the main premise was fairly compelling, and when everything was working, it was really engaging. Unfortunately, at random moments, the acting/dialogue/editing would suddenly become very amateurish and take me out of the movie. It just happened sporadically, and it felt like I was almost watching two different movies. The movie landed the emotional punches when it counted though. Because of this, I think it's still a good watch despite some of its rougher edges.
The Procreation Room. LOL. Really!
Made me laugh when she said we can skip straight to P and he panicked
I took a longer pause between episode because I kinda got bored. But I can't say I had the urge to get back. I hope this will all be setting up for a good season finale.
Every time the story turns to the political issue, my interest wanes.
Judging by the comments here I will not even watch the second episode. Oh well, what a shame.
Dreadful finale. The last 5 minutes made all the events of the show meaningless.
Great finale -- until the last two minutes totally crapped the bed.
It was pretty good up until that last scene with Ben waking up again... it didn't make any sense and ruined everything.
Could Waits actually be on of the kids in the picture ? That could also explain why he knew about the starfish. Age wise it could fit.
Daddy making a false confession and the reveal he had a little sonething with his daughter shines the light upon her I guess. Maybe the confession was about protecting her ?
It's probably too late to hope for an improvement at this point but I still feel disappointed every time an episode ends. It's just so empty, going through the motions with zero intrigue and zero spark. It's also a telltale sign that the show's not good when so much of the story relies on characters holding the idiot ball all the time. So they plan a risky ambush to catch Clement red-handed holding the book, but wait for like a minute and decide to go in and grab him anyway before there's any sighting of said book, why?! And then they go Pikachu-face when of course he doesn't have it. Just dreadful.
The daughter is still annoying, and they made Raylan a shit father for no reason other than low-hanging drama. They also went and used the trick with the guy being tailed idling at the green light and flooring it on red, making sure the police are t-boned when they try to follow AGAIN. It happened to Tim in season 5 and it’s just as stupid this time with seasoned cops apparently being unable to properly tail some dumbass with plot armor.
I’m really having a bad time with this so far. This is not Justified, this is a regular boring procedural with Raylan literally inserted into the story that does not include him originally, and it shows.
It didn't end up mattering, but: Boyd entrusting the incredibly important and valuable hand-off of Drew Thompson to Colt, who is a drug addict and has proven himself to be an unreliable liar, was a terrifically stupid idea.
I thought it was just OK. It's no Das Boot, but the score and some of the visuals were nice. I found the fake Russian accents to be an immersion-breaker. I much prefer movies based on true events to use actors that speak the language of the people who were there. It feels more natural. I think it's also a bit distracting for the audience when they see a big Hollywood actor like Harrison Ford or Liam Neeson, you don't expect them to be Russian.
What??? COVID in 2017? I should’ve watched this show when it originally aired, could’ve prepared myself better.
Oh so we're helping the future with COVID. K, that makes it slightly better.
Good episode though :yum:
The troopers bringing the walkers to the city so they can put it in lockdown is the stupidest own goal I've ever seen in a show or movie :type_4:♂ for the rest of the episode, or actually season, I don't even know where to begin. Every few minutes logic flaws everywhere jus like the smart walkers suddenly.. The writing overall really went from shit to super-shit..
Not that I could have come up with better plot lines, but this show is reminding me of Killing Eve now.
What Kofun wants to live blind! What type of idiot thinking is that?
MODERATOR EDIT: I changed your wording because it was offensive.
ds1's comments echo my sentiments too.
In addition, I loved how Maple Syrup smuggling was a key crime in the episode. A very Canadian problem!
Going to miss the show - I've spent a lot of time in Montreal (live in London) so it was nice seeing the city so often again.
Hey it’s Reilly. He made it to America to play a small role. LOL.
Lon Suder is now my favorite non-main character across all ST series that I've seen, and I've seen all the main series.
If you like Stanley Tucci, you'll love this. He takes a nice relaxing trip to various areas of Italy to give us a different perspective of the foods and locations. If he ever gives up acting, he's got a great future as a TV host. 9/10
Yes CNN sucks, but I'm watching it on Kodi - no ads. :>)
This is not a movie, this is a podcast zoommeeting with a slideshow.
It breaks the fourth wall in such a way that this thing is an advertisement for itself, unfortunately the quality of acting and writing isn't up to snuff to make you believe that this supposed film is worth the watch. What's even worse: many of the characters and their interactions are annoying, the people are annoying, the voices are annoying. It's annoying.
Razzennest is like Blair Witch without the Witch, no it's not it's Razzennest without the Razzen (at least in Dutch slang): Nest (Crap).
