The dragons are such a power imbalance. The stupidity of the last scene? Why would he do that? I mean I can understand him pretending to surrender, but why did he charge for all those men and THEN call the dragon. In Game of Thrones the dragons seemed to be the equivalent of a nuclear bomb... see season 8. Only the Targaryens have them so... how the fuck are you losing a war? So far I haven't seen one counter for them. There is no way an army of regular men could defeat a dragon. Daemon seems like a one trick pony. He's the bad guy... I don't understand his motivation... He wants to be the king, but he would've been heir a long time ago if he didn't have the thirst for...idk blood? Please the king, be the heir, than poison him. Hell... blame Rhaenyra (make her dragon kill him or something) contest the throne. So far Daemon seems dumb as fuck. I might say he is literally Jon Snow in season 7, but the "evil" version. He needs a hell of a lot of character development... or fuck no, just some character exploration at least. What is his limit? His pride? He should've accepted the help from the King. That shows the kingdom he has the King's blessing. Work with what you can get... This show needs a Tyrion, a Little Finger... someone who thinks three steps ahead.
What are you guys talking about it wasn't even that bad?
Disclaimer: I did not see the original.
Yes, the CGI was fucking hilarious but the rest was good. What do u want from a spy movie?
Dominic Sherwood and Jacky Lai were miles ahead of the other actors. Honorable mention to Eddie Ramos.
I'm watching the original movie right after this one and I'm coming back with the comparison.
Welcome back, everyone! It's been 1 hour and 54 minutes for me and I think you got a big ass case of nostalgia. What the fuck was even that? The rhino CGI was for sure an homage to the original. The reboot was a step up. The original one doesn't hold one bit. To be perfectly honest I don't get Arnold Schwarzengegger's charisma? Sue me. I don't think he's that good of an actor. The banter wasn't good. I couldn't give less of a shit about the weapon or whatever, it's been done to death. I liked seeing Rina just fucking girlbossing throughout the entire movie. The fighting scenes were done a lot better than in the original. Yes, the original was made in 1996 but man Titanic was made in 1997, they could've done a lot better. From a rewatchability standpoint I would totally watch the reboot again.
I'm back with some Arnold Schwarz slander, that man can't act for shit.
This is a fine movie. One downside is if you read the book before it's gonna be underwhelming. In the book we had a full 25% of backstory and why he decided to go to the hospital. Here the movie starts with him already there. (not talking about the prologue that really is just a Hollywood tickbox). In the first minutes, we find out that he is 16 should've been 15 why the change but ok... then someone asks his age. Why make him tell us his age when we find it out from dialogue anyway? His character feels like the point of view character, not the main one. Zach Galifianakis's character that I really don't remember from the book that much (except de sweater scene) stole the show. Noelle's face looks scratched by a cat not like she did it herself with a pair of rusty scissors. That was really disappointing 'cause she describes them like it would stop any kind of future job offer. Nia looks like a hallucination. I mean they really put alien music when they zoomed in on her boobs. She totally looks like a sex addict in the movie. She had sleeping with him on a list. At least in the book, he kissed her. Then he says he loves her ???? This brings us to the stupid love triangle, cause of course Noelle is there. Zack Galifianakis, saves it again, with the brilliant delivery of the "Yo mamma joke". He talked with Noelle twice and it wasn't as deep as it was in the book either. Did they just monologue the conversation? Sure, cause we didn't need any build-up for the relationship. And that one performance of Under Pressure o_o.
