Still don't love the recasts, especially Ben, but I don't dislike Rosalind's new actress as much as I originally did. What I still can't get over is how awful the soundtrack is.
Nice episode, really like the new character
Very fun! I loved all the Tia nicknames but when the little kid randomly called Penelope "Tia Divorce" I lost it because of course that's her nickname. As a B99 fan it was great to see Stephanie and Melissa, I adore them! And Elena's and Pilar's conversations was one of my highlights of this great episode.
Please no more scenes with Naomi. You have an entire universe so why do you have to focus so much on the most boring character of the show.
Right before starting S03, I watched an Indian guy on YouTube give a pretty good recap of the last two seasons, and at the point where Smith sacrifices herself, he says "and we conveniently don't see a body ", and we both went "hmmmm" at the exact same time, lol.
Anyway, all that to say, 5 seconds into the new episode, there she frigging pops up again, back from the dead. No real explanation. Exaggerated eyeroll
Ahead of its time in terms of subject matter, but really dated in terms of execution and style. The script is too dumb to be the statement against surveillance culture it wants to be, but Scott still manages to squeeze quite a bit of tension out of this material.
5.5/10
Solid ending to an otherwise bland and forgetful season.
This episode was more than a episode long training montage. It was also a focused look at the inherent problems of choosing one player over another and what that means for all sides, including the trainer. How often do we remember who sat on the bench, primed and ready, but never got switched in? I can't even remember the name of the grey haired player who Kageyama replaced...
And the dumb creators of Riverdale have to give us yet another musical scene. Again, just have the cat talk.
No one asked for a musical scene. Definitely not a musical episode. Which they will have sooner or later.
Still, a fun show. I just hope they never have a full musical episode. Fans want the cat to talk. Not musical episodes. Instead, we barely ever see the cat and they had 2 musical scenes 2 episodes in a row this season.
This isn’t one of these episodes. It has the dark humor I love about the show.
What did I feel bad for Lee Sedol through out this whole film. The weight of a whole country on your shoulders. When he won that fourth game, the will to fight sort of came back.
The 'Queen’s Gambit' really said, "Let’s make chess sexy...!"
I can see why Ira is the ex.
Nice episode, glad to see background history of side characters.
Shimizu <3
I really do expected more for a midseason finale.... Well Episode 7 was the best so far, i hope this show keeps getting better, even if its hard without the best TV Show character EVER, Heda!
So Lexa's only worth an accidental death? What the fuck.
Clarke, girl, what are you doing?!?! Did you see that dress she wore? No one wears that to just "get their bandages changed"! Up your perception game Clarke, you're missing all the clear signals.
It doesn't make sense that Bellamy's character development has been thrown out of the window, that he's been reverted back to his season one self without any sort of build up to it. It would have made more sense if they showed his emotions leading up into it, developed it more, showed the process. But nope... It's lazy writing and I'm not even surprised anymore.
'Chancellor' Pike is gonna get everyone killed with his racism so I hope he gets swiftly taken out of action and replaced by someone sensible. Like Kane or Abby.
Also it seems to me like they're trying to maybe make the show more like Game of Thrones, I thought the same when the opening credits were introduced at the beginning of season two.
Continually blown away by Alicia Denham Carey. She brings such subtleties to the role. Lexa was amazing this episode.
The Pike storyline is frustrating but unfortunately realistic, and the scary thing is people are easily led by strong talkers like him. This will not end well at all.
I hate characters like Pike, you just know that the only reason they exist is to cause trouble... Come on writers of The 100, you can do better than that...
Haha, I'm surprised nobody has mentioned yet that Sabrina and Zelda are in a movie together :D I think they are living a mortal double life in their spare times :D I was waiting for Sabrina to rise to the sky at one point and scream "I'm Sabrina Spellman!" and burn all the vesps to the ground :D
Part 1 And 2 = Season 1
Part 3 and 4 = Season 2
Hence, the number of episodes are equal.
Trakt is not doing anything wrong.
So, Nate was never reported for assaulting Tyler and almost killing him (which doesn't just go un-questioned in a hospital), and then Jules doesn't think to report Nate for printing child pornography? That shit is a slam dunk and easy to prove he printed it, and he's not exactly a mastermind.
There are just so many plot holes and things that make no logical sense for the sake of drama. I expected more from HBO.
I'm really excited to see the friendship between Rue and Ali (I loved the actor in Fear The Walking Dead). Also excellent scene between Rue and Fez, if not heartbreaking.
I remember the earlier movies in this series being worth a watch. This time, though, the jokes seem to be even lazier than I remember.
Set up: Johnny needs to do X.
Punchline: Johnny fails to do X (but plot advances anyway).
Rinse, repeat.
The beginning of the movie (at the school) was actually a highlight for me, as one of the few parts of the movie where the jokes were something other than the repetitive jokes about Johnny's incompetence that burned me out half way into the film.
My god... The retardedness of the Spear Hero is just too much for me to take... This is beyond just ridiculous and not even comical at this point. At least we kind of see him and Malty receive their just desserts.
Honestly? I'm getting a bit confused with Eren storyline
I feel the needs to write about this asap not because it was particularly good. It's just that it's inanely average, has a moral lesson it preaches with the bluntness of a hammer and I'm likely to forget it if I don't jot it down right now.
