One of the bests of Winter Season 2019! If you're searching for a comedy anime, don't hesitate to watch this, it's hilarious. I really hope this gets a second season. Meanwhile, I think I'm just going to read the manga.
I like the idea of the story and the mystery behind all those different groups of people still living on Earth when they supposedly couldn't have survived the radiation, but, at the same time, it becomes predictable and the cringe of what some characters do or say is unreal, too bad. Let's just hope it gets better in the next seasons.
Really liked the humor and story of these series, how all of the bad things can make you feel sad for the characters but at the same time make you laugh about how hilarious and tragic all is. I just didn't like the acting of the guy who plays Bob Barnard, he was too dramatic in some situations, and the episodes could have been more but shorter. Summing up: well worth the 9 hour watch.
The first 2 seasons are very good. The third one has an interesting idea that could've made a good season, and it is well done up until the last episode... The last episode ruined it. It is so fast-paced that it feels like they wrapped up half a season in that episode, it's a shame. Overall a good watch, though.
This show makes chess seem the most enjoyable game of all time; you will enjoy it even if you don't know how to play or simply are not much into it. Who knew how chess could be so sexy?
The cast is amazing, there's good character development for every character, the scenes are beautifully shot, the story... simply amazing. Summarizing everything, this is truly a MASTERPIECE!
At first it was boring, I struggled to watch at least the first 5 episodes, but then it was getting better and by the end of the 13th episode I was wishing there were more to watch. I think it would have been cool if they continued the series based on the fact that Erin's daughter, Amy, is the antichrist, as it was revealed on the last episode.
Was unsure if I was going to keep watching it at first, but I'm glad I finished it.
Not the best sports anime out there but it's chill, has an unusual storyline, the characters are all fruity which is also unusual in such a "manly sport". Nice animation and character development.
I might have shed a tear at the end of it... Definitely going to watch it if they ever release a second season.
I wasn't expecting to like this show as much as I did.
I started watching by chance but was drawn to it immediately, mostly by Yume's storyline.
The last episodes three episodes were perfect.
This was interesting. Let me start by saying that the soundtrack was probably one of the bests I've heard so far and that the main story kept me curious until the very last episode. On the other hand, this anime has a lot of unrealistic stuff, which bothered me. That chess game in the airport was terrible, it even had illegal moves and just didn't make sense at all. None of the bombs ever killed, at least, one person. Five, a supposed foreigner, appeared out of nowhere and just started to be a real terrorist, much worse than Nine or Twelve, under police protection and nothing really happened to her about that. She literally put at risk the population and nobody did anything to stop her! But I think the worst part of it all was that, in the end, she didn't even want anything from Nine, she just f-cking killed herself in front of him. Five was probably the worst character that I've ever seen, I hated her so much that I was happy when she finally died. I read once, somewhere, a comment from a wise man saying "Five was also the number of episodes she wasted". And then we have Lisa, who is not likeable at all, she does not have a personality and I think that she is easily disposable, they could have done the story without her. Besides that, it was decent, the story and the little details of it were all well explained and the ending was also great.
P.S.: If you're an English speaker you're going to cringe at Five's attempts to speak English ALL THE TIME.
Good acting and a great story but they took way too long on the main character's development, it was like 5 or 6 episodes, that's crazy for a 10 episode season. Then some characters didn't have the attention that they deserved... Overall it felt like it was going to start right when it ended.
I didn't get bored though, so that plus taking into account what's coming for next season it's well worth the watch.
The show is not as bad as I thought it would be... I thought this would be a shitty series where Netflix just uses (again) the popularity of some actors from La Casa de Papel, but I found it decent. I didn't think this would have a second season though, it really should be a one season thing. Too bad that my favorite characters were the murderer and his girlfriend. I'll probably end up watching the second season to see how they're going to try to escape. And it's always good to watch a Netflix original, non-american show, for a change.
I’ve never watched One Piece or read the manga ‘cause, honestly, I don’t have the courage or time to start a 1000+ episode anime or read even more than that. I didn’t even know what the story was about other than them being pirates, so this live action is a good opportunity to enjoy the story without it being too overwhelming.
So far I really enjoyed it, it is funny and entertaining. It doesn’t seem to be cringe and weird like other live actions Netflix put out throughout the years, but I am curious to read other people’s opinions (especially the ones who have watched/read One Piece before) once I finish watching. Looking forward to watch more episodes :)
I liked it! It kept the same quality as the previous seasons, as expected. It was a good ending for the show.
This one was on my dropped list because I didn't like the first season that much. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good. In my opinion, it went downhill on the first season 'cause all of the initial mystery was lost way too fast and the rest of the story was more of a little brain explosion than good.
But now I have to say: I am so glad that I gave this show a second chance! This season was really well done, from the game that apparently had nothing to do with the main characters to all of the different things that happen in a new dimension, varying from person to person.
I will be waiting for the next one!
Overall this show is a waste of time, and I'm glad it lasted only 25 minutes. The first episode was boring (yes, they managed to make it annoying even for only 9 minutes) and not scary, the second one wasn't even an episode... It is something like an AHS intro without the music. The third one is not scary at all, despite being a little bit more entertaining than the first one. The fourth episode is easily the best one, just a little, tiny, bit scary and I liked that explorer vibe from the two boys. The fifth and last one made me laugh, it is a morning routine like some girls do on youtube but psycho version, 0% scary. Hey, but let's look at the bright side: they nailed it on the title!
DON'T WATCH THIS!
Started rewatching this and I'm already changing my rating on this episode to a 10. So many stuff that I did not get the first time watching. Amazing start!
The movement of the animation is kinda weird and the design is nothing special, but that's okay 'cause the anime obviously had a very low budget. It also has some real-life footage, but I actually think it fits the intro and is enjoyable. The overall story is interesting as well, the problem here is that the pace of it is very slow and the characters don't really make sense. It looks like they change personalities and are completely different people in the same episode or between them. The other thing I've noticed is that I don't really know what genre this anime is... At first, I thought it was something like terror or, at least, drama and then on the 3rd episode they try to make it funny (?) but they can't seem to finish the jokes and it ends up being just an awkward thing.
Only watched 2 episodes until now, but I can't understand all the hype about this anime. Watched each episode in two different days and still almost fell asleep in the middle of it, every time. I mean, how can you not be bored knowing that every episode is literally filler-new hero-new villain-ends the villain with one punch? Even the protagonist is bored!
The comedy is not really my type of humour as well, which contributes to the boredom. I find all the jokes extremely unfunny, but even if you find them funny, let's at least agree that they're all bad jokes...
There are two things I liked: the animation – which is extremely well done – and Genos. I feel like he's a good character and I hope he appears more now since, apparently, Saitama is his sensei. Well, I guess I'll continue watching, hoping it gets better at some point. Maybe I'll update this review once I finish watching it (if I ever do that).
Lexa deserved better. I'm not only mad that she died but also disappointed at how it happened. She was the show since she first appeared. Well, at least we had some more quality time between her and Clarke before she died.
Thelonious' "City of Light" cult continues to be annoying, they're all so delusional at this point, and I hope Abby can do something to stop it soon.
Bellamy continues to act stupid as I predicted, but at least his sister has some good brain cells left and is doing the right thing. Sure, she's confused and can't really pick her side but that's just normal when choosing the Grounders means to kill her only family and friends, and choosing Skaikru means killing innocent people right now.
Let's just talk about and appreciate actors who portray more than one character in the same show. Not only did Lindsey Morgan had to be both Raven and A.L.I.E. in this episode — and possibly in the next ones too — but she also had to be A.L.I.E. exactly as Erica Cerra portrays her, and she was great! The way she spoke and her body language was the same as Erica's. Great actress.
After what Pike did to Lincoln, I hope Octavia cuts him deep with her sword and that he suffers a lot before dying. That will be the only vengeance that I will accept. Jus drein jus daun.
The whole episode is great, but that one last scene… I completely lost it lmao
What a great show.
This show is becoming more and more predictable. It was obvious they had to eat each other to survive, the only thing that still surprises me is how Abby is still alive. I was expecting her death like I expected Jasper's. She was also a coward when she made Octavia take all the responsibility for forcing people into cannibalism.
Octavia was always an extremely emotional person, it's justifiable that she's acting this way, like it or not. I didn't find weird that she burned down Monty's plantation, she doesn't want to rely on something that failed more than once (it was mentioned by Abby that it happened before on the Ark). Something tells me that Marcus doesn't know about that side of Abby since he's trying so hard to keep "the devil" away from the valley.
On the other hand, Clarke is acting stupid. I just wish she would listen to her daughter. And please, I need some Lexa flashbacks to come with the chip, at least give us that. Loving the new space group, by the way. Echo and Emori helped with making the group feel complete, especially when they had to leave Clarke behind.
I will definitely rewatch Lexa's battle with Roan, that was epic. Lexa is probably my favourite character, although Octavia is really good too. Sadly, in my opinion, Lexa is one of those characters that has a sign on her forehead saying "I'm going to die soon", I wish we could have more of her for a longer period of time.
On the other hand, Bellamy's character development was completely erased on this episode and probably the next ones, it is just dumb that he's acting that way. Pike only exists to create unnecessary chaos and I hope he dies soon.
Just here to comment that the episode was good and all that but... that ending song!!! Really suited the scene, and it's just so beautiful... Damn, I feel like I'll listen to it in an endless loop now.
The show is boring, it has some mystery but it's not worth the time. I feel bad for Thale though, he actually was the only character that I liked and cared about, so I would like to know a bit more about him. Oh well, another one for my dropped list.
The Promised Neverland, aka The Promised Cliffhanger, ending this episode with a CLIFF-hanger . Ah, the irony!
I was afraid that they would screw up this show after the first season because the story ended there, but I have to admit that it was pretty good. Palermo is a good and well-introduced character, but the other new ones felt like they're just extras, and that shouldn't be the case since they're all a team. Alicia was by far my favorite character this season, I absolutely loved her and her craziness.
I also appreciated that little bit of humor they added to some parts.
I'm excited and looking forward to watch the next part, I'm sure it will be epic!
I really liked the episode, but what was that animation this week? It was so bad that it made me laugh.
I really like Kenma, so it was good to watch this episode from his perspective and more of his team when Lev arrives, since he appeared out of nowhere in the beginning of season 2. This anime is wonderful!
