Simone Cooke as playing Misty the detective is really bad. She just gets on the walkie talkie and yells, "Get the bomb squad, neeeoooww!" Really? I think it requires a little more information than that.
Another issue: what in the world happened to the elevator once Jessica let it fall? As Electra and Matt were fighting, it never came down. Makes no sense.
The final scene where the building imploded and is collapsed also was ridiculous. A few blocks of C4 on a single structural beam takes down the entire buikding. Right... Further, they made it seem like there were bombs on every single floor with explosions on each as it fell. That didn't happen. Also the cops were all about a block away as the top fell. They would have been screwed, if we have learned anything from 9/11.
Overall, lazy editing, writing, and production.
It's getting hot up in here!
Marvel's The Defenders is out on Netflix now. I have watched Jessica Jones, Dare Devil, and Iron First. I thought I had to watch Luke Cage before watching The Defenders, but I was wrong. If you watch Jessica Jones then you pretty much know Luke Cage's story. That being said, I watched the first episode and it was okay, but not drawing me in as a viewer and just wasn't very appealing. It's very in the roots and about Harlem, and that's it. There's nothing super-hero'y about it. So, I decided to skip this. Maybe will pull in for a season 2 if there is one.
Very slow opener.. but they have to bring all the story lines together.. so just be prepared. It starts picking up some after this.
Seems like this episode should have aired around halloween time but still funny and entertaining nonetheless.
Some of the long running camera shots are just phenomenal. Amazing work by the director, cast, and crew for pulling them off.
So... are the writer's just taking creative freedom in killing Ra's al Ghul at this point? In Arrow TV and the Dark Knight Movies Ra's al Ghul is still alive. Anyone have ideas here?
An okay start to the season, but was pretty weak. Hopefully it picks up after this episode. Even the banter and wittiness was sub-average.
Right in the feels, man.
Whoa, this episode was great... and refreshing! The quality was much better than 80% of the episodes last season.
Definitely the worst season yet. It's like the ran out of gas and changed the story as real life NFL came out with news about Raiders, Rams, and Chargers changing cities. Then, as the viewer, you are given a big fat shit on your head at the end.
Decent opening episode, I think Jordan will come into this role very well in the coming episodes.
I wish I could have a woman wake up to a scene like that!
Odd how this season only has 9 episodes.
Update:
According to WikipediA: (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuller_House_(TV_series)#cite_note-12):
It was announced on June 26, 2017 that the third season would be split into two parts, with the release of the first part on September 22, 2017 to consist of nine episodes.
The feels, dem feels! They actually used the intro from the first seven seasons without any change, amazing. The episode starts off a little rough with Mulder and Sully interacting very stiffly, almost like they don't know how to be around under each other. Not sure if that is bad acting or intentional. The story starts off alright so we will see what this season brings us.
Looks like Gordon's illness is finally coming back. Also, the whole ordeal with Cameron seems to be coming to a head, which should make the next couple episodes interesting.
This season is just plain bad. Mulder is not around and the writing is written in such a way where he just over yonder, just out of reach, and playing behind the scenes. They love to talk about him, yet never show him.
The story arcs are also really bad this season. Bad way to end the series, but luckily Season 10 is much better after a 15 year hiatus.
These story arcs this season are just plain bad. Did they lose all of their writers from the previous seasons or something?
This season was really great, possibly one of the best yet. It starts out strong and moves the plot from the previous season. It also brings a renewed focus on back stories that makes you want to question everyone's motives even more.
Now, like any TV show, this does slow down a little bit in the middle, but ends with a bang with some great TV.
D'Avin: we need to gotta get dirtier.
John: Ass to mouth?
Haha wow that is a raunchy ass joke for cable!
Great episode, great writing. All of the separate threads of the story start to come together, but then ultimately fray by the end. Where will it go next with that massive cliffhanger!?
Damn, Dona has changed, a lot. She's getting what she wants, hard. 3 years can do a lot for people.
That realization at the end is epic.
Very lazy and poor from the LSTC Team to just replay guests on Fridays.
Probably one of the worst episodes of the entire series. Don't talk about Mulder so much, he is gone!
This was a decent, watchable science fiction flick. It had a decent dystopian, apocalyptic-type plot where the world was on the brink of total annihilation only to be saved by a corporate entity with some magical new technology. The corporation, of course, ends up only caring about the money and screwing people over in the process, causing people, or a person in this case, to rise up and change things. The movie has good pacing; Tom Sizemore, Sarah Habel, and Domic Monaghan offer great performances. It takes you for a bit of a ride in the transition from the second to third act with a couple twists and turn that you may not see coming. In conclusion, a solid B, straight to DVD sci-fi movie. Worth watching if you are looking for something in the genre and are fans of Sizemore, Monaghan, or Habel.
Dang PT got his faced smashed in!
No more Mulder!? Weird.
Jim Jefferies is getting really good at this gig. I really hope he starts doing more days during the week.
Lol, this makes Diplo look very sad, confused, and stupid. Not sure if it's just super hard satire.. or if there is some truth to this. Dillon Francis is also great on camera.. maybe he should think about a career in acting!?
