As someone who has a hard time watching awkward stuff, this was excruciatingly painful to watch.
If someone is wondering about the definition of the German word "Fremdscham" – this is it.
All the gun inflicted deaths in the world and the scene that got me was a casually torn-off ballet dancer's toe nail.
Apparently the most polarising one so far? I absolutely loved it because I'm into absurd humour, others hated it, presumably because episodes like 1 and 3 set a wholly different tone.
Thefuck did I just watch,
Thefuck did I just watch.
I don't remember why/that I watchlisted this one, but boy is it a downer. If you prefer slow phsychological horror over PEW PEW KILLER MURDERFACE horror, then I'd probably recommend it for the beatutful shots alone.
This episode ticked all the boxes.
So fucking painful to watch.
Almost done with it as I'm writing this, and I want to finish it, but shit, it's really hard.
And good. Very good.
I watched it because I was interest in the premise, and because of Olivia Wilde.
I was disappointed by the underutilization of both, unfortunately :/
Seriously though what the f**k, Adventure Time.
I think I'm filing this one as a guilty pleasure. I can't tell if it's actually good, but somehow I enjoy it more than I expected,
Well to be honest, I only watched this movie because I saw that one Rick & Morty episode I now have to rewatch because there were probably references to this movie.
As for the movie itself: Interesting idea, kinda meh though.
I watched this knowing nothing about the story, and it felt like the script was put out by the NerdGarbageBot (https://twitter.com/nerdgarbagebot).
Pitch:
Imagine if the Hunger games were set in the third trial of the Triwizard Tournament, but set in a dystopian future
I think that about covers it.
Was mildly entertained, though.
Oh dammit, just as I had my sleep cycle back in order, this pops up and it's 2am and I just started episode 6.
Also: Totally hooked, I even like the child actors, and I've previously dropped shows purely because I couldn't stand the kids.
Two episodes in, and I haven't laughed so hard at a show since Police Squad. Glorious, but I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. Actually, I'd ask people if they know/liked Police Squad, and then I'd recommend it to them, as I'm not sure if the show would work without already liking Police Quad.
TL;DR lulz were had
Apparently the anime community is not very confident about this show, but as someone who loved Attack on Titan, Claymore and other dark/fantasy stuff, I really hope this doesn't devolve into a shit show, because I really like the premise and design.
The ending totally screwed the show. After the first few episodes I joked about crappy, stereotypical ending, and that's exactly what happened. Yet another show that was cancelled way before it actually had a chance to be as awesome as it could have been.
