I watched it with a friend and we both really liked it. I am not a fan of biography movies but this one with a steady and gradual move through the storyline and portraying an almost accurate picture of the French elite class before the revolution caught my eye. No wonder why the French Revolution was one of the bloodiest in history and I believe the same rebelliousness still runs through the veins of the French population.
Decent body horror, cheap jump scares, and plot that gets crazy that some will love and some will just say WTF. All while Sydney Sweeney delivers a "not the best, and definitely not the worst" performance.
After years of Game of Thrones Sundays, it was great to be able to fill this void with House of the Dragon, so I was eagerly awaiting season 2 and its first episode did not disappoint and made the wait totally worth it. This season starts exactly where the previous one left off, with Luke’s death and all the consequences that this death meant for all the characters, some seeking war, others living through grief, and others not knowing what to do. How I missed this series!!!
Excellent start!!! Now I will waited eagerly what happened next??? Waiting for next week:kissing:
Just when I tbought I was out, they pulled me back in!
Everything looks top notch…
Very establishing episode, so it feels like a solid if muted collection of scenes setting up the places and stances all the characters are rather than a cohesive whole... at least until that decisive, vicious turning point of an ending. I adore the new intro though.
They weren't lying about the name of the episode.
Man, I didn't think they made gothic horror anymore. This was great.
A deliciously twisted fairytale for grownups. Surprised not more love is given to this calibre of filmmaking.
Francesca gets nervous about her husband's cousin. I didn't like the decision to take her sister to the honeymoon. Benedict very forced to be bisexual. Netflix and the agenda. I Like Penélope and Colin love story was good. The revelation of lady whistledown the have to left that to the final season.
Benedict for next season don’t Know.
This has been the most underwhelming season so far (even though I like the visibility that Nicola Coughlan received with it, she seems like an amazing person and a talented actress).
There were too many stories shrinked into these few episodes, which resulted in not enough screen time for the more interesting ones (or the leading Polin line, for one). I did not care enough about the Mondrichs and especially not for Benedict's adventures. Even though I love the raciness of Bridgerton (rightfully called horny Downton Abbey lol) and there weren't many intimate scenes this season, I was uninterested in Benedict's sex craze, it was off-putting for some reason.
I have grown to love Francesca and this new actress. I did not understand her reaction to Lord Kilmartin's cousin though - maybe they are prepping for their storyline next season, but the reaction was very out of place for me.
It's like watching hide-and-go-seek by people who don't know how to run.
There are a couple moments of genuine suspense in this home invasion rife with WTFs, clichés and poor jump scares. Nowhere near as good as the 2008 original but, to the surprise of absolutely no one, superior to The Strangers: Prey at Night (2018).
Huh… so, I thought they would do like an ‘origins’ story for the strangers (I didn’t watch the trailers) but it’s just the original movie in another setting lmao bar for bar. Kinda get that the small town plot was to let us know those ppl are definitely involved but there was just no pay off, ugh, still, it was tense, so I’ll give it a 6. Nothing new, original is better.
While it’s basically the first movie (but worse) the ending has me interested in seeing where they take this next.
I just loved the whole movie. Sofia Coppola did an amazing job, every single detail is so well captured. I really emphasize a lot with the story and i was moved till the end. Heartbreaking the ending with a lot of hope to be more..
I saw the film Elvis and the two perspective of their life it's soo heartbreaking. Amazing work.
Really enjoyed the scope and focus of this, every single shot besides the second to last is from the POV of Priscilla.
Sofia does an incredible job at setting and capturing the mood while subverting the expectation of that mood at the same time.
Knockout performances by Cailee Spaeny and Jacob Elordi here. Beautifully shot and set and not to mention the incredible musical direction.
Not going to be for everyone and some may find it a bore, but if you give in to it, it will repay you.
An appropriate number for this movie, huh? I went into this with a great deal of reservations, but I came out having had a great time. I think Disney struck a better balance between the spooky and the funny here than they did with the 2003 version. Disney Parks fans are going to LOVE the details here. The score was delightful with the recurring attraction motif throughout. I think it’s an odd choice to release this one in July, but they did it with Hocus Pocus in 1993, and look at that now (though Hocus Pocus is arguably a better movie). This gets a thumbs up from me (but keep in mind, I am a HUGE Disney fan, so your mileage may vary).
Very entertaining and eclectic bunch of characters, a fun line up for a very simple and fun movie. Loved that Danny DeVito was in the movie, just a fun watch.
Your typical Harlequin / Hallmark romance. You know what happens before you watch it. Enjoyment when needed.
It's not going to win any awards. The movie is just cute dumb fun. The main dude is an obnoxious asshole so I would have run away with the photographer, too...facts!

I don't know much about Saint Brigid, but the character in this movie is an icon!
Let‘s be honest. We all watch this only because of Lindsay Lohan and she is definitely the star here. The story is lighthearted, fun and at times really goofy but this isn‘t a bad thing at all. Overall it won‘t win any prices but I wouldn‘t say it‘s a waste of time either.
What a great 2nd sequel for the infamous Greys Anatomy following Bailey's husband, Warren as he pursues a career as a fire fighter. Just like all the other dramas and its parent series there is plenty of edge of your seat drama as the firefighters personal and professional lives clash. Aside from the past few seasons that have gotten too mushy this is a very entertaining show aside from the emotional relationships as the calls for fires are intense.
They certainly front loaded the series with some great supporting talent. I was pleasantly surprised to see Scott Patterson (GILMORE GIRLS), Laura Vandervoort (SMALLVILLE and SUPERGIRL) and Canadian acting royalty Tom Jackson. The pace of the series is slow and the writing and acting seems to be missing a director but Nova Scotia was the draw and she’s performing splendidly. It’s a wait and see for me. I hope it is more than just a slow burn seasonal romance which seems to be the genre of Morgan Kohan and Chad Michael Murray (ONE TREE HILL). After this pilot, I give the series a (fair) out of 10. [Romantic Drama]
Anthony really said :nose::nose::nose: SMELL
I was grinning from ear to ear throughout the entire movie absolutely superb and so much fun in fact just complete sexy bacon! 8/10
Fall Guy was great, was fun and ridiculous yet entertaining love letter to stunt actors and the stunt community who deserve more time in the sun, told through a charismatic and action-filled performance by Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt. Quality filmmaking - strongly recommend!
Jody showering Colt with praise and Colt is just straight up malfunctioning :joy:, I loved their chemistry.
