2 hours of comedy and entertaining action wrapped in a love letter to all the stuntmen
dudeeee, that's last look totally telling you it's gonna be hell for what coming next!!
What's with the bad votes it didn't even come out yet-
Edit: Fair enough.
I soooo love it how the trailer completely ignores that the all-female Ghostbusters movie ever existed. Like it never happened, like it was only a bad dream.
EDIT:
Just watched it. I can't say the movie was spectacular, but it was darn spectacular to me.
I believe the movie paid all due respects to the Ghostbusters and that it was carefully made not to disappoint. It worked!
And yes, I'm high on nostalgia while typing it.
P.S. Anyone else got emotional when Ecto-1 first sounded the sirens?
Great take on a classic character, unexpectedly good and with the best song soundtrack in a while
‘But it is not about me. I can’t lash out like some raging, entitled maniac. That’s a white man’s luxury’ - Stan Edgar -
10, 10, 10, 10's across the board.
Having been around for the 1st top gun I was afraid about this one. But it did not disappoint I heard people say it's better than the original... Well it definitely is!! The casting of Rooster is amazing. Also seeing Val Kilmer again brought a tear to my eye. What a movie and the music of Hans Zimmer is epic as always!!
God damn, James Gunn out here making grown men cry multiple times! He truly is the ultimate superhero director. Thank you for this awesome guardians journey and not folding to the super hero marvel normalities.
This movie was truly a fresh of breath air and will hopefully knock some sense into these other marvel projects.
This is a beautiful story, exquisitely performed! If you are not able to suspend disbelief and see truth in fantasy, I grieve for you, because you miss out on gems like this film. This story deals with loneliness, kindness, friendship, love, courage and nobility. As well as ambition, prejudice, corruption of power, cruelty and powerlessness. Guillermo del Toro wove a sensitive and beautiful story set in a sterile and cruel world. The performances are wonderful by a talented and accomplished cast. The production design brilliantly captures the romantic tension of the piece. I highly recommend this film and give it a 9 (superbly beautiful) out of 10. [Fantasy, Drama, Romance]
I never thought they could make a 2 hour movie with Emma Stone in multiple sex scene's this bad, but they did.
They weren't lying about the name of the episode.
I thought it was a beautifully told if simple story... I’ve been reading critics reviews and am wondering why some people even bother if they’re going to compare everything to GoT, and then complain because the show isn’t a perfect season.
I think it’s as good a first season as anyone can expect from any show that’s not Battlestar Galactica.
The costume design was impeccable, the set design so wonderfully rich, which is impressive considering there is so much grey. Whoever was responsible for the lighting did an amazing job of giving it a complete personality in this narrative.
The performances were a little uneven here and there, but what first season has a perfect possession of every character? None, that’s how many.
All in all it’s a glorious entry, and I love the way The Fae are presented, and as gritty the allegories are with Nazism and the nascent authoritarianism and white nationalism on the loose in the U.S., I appreciate the tone and structure of the politics and how it’s played out from the top down.
I enjoyed this tremendously and am looking forward to more yarn for this story...

RPGs in a nutshell: "Thou shalt get sidetracked by bullshit every goddamn time."
This is a really special movie. It honours the originals and serves as a direct sequel, expanding the lore of their universe and creating new characters that are fun to follow. It feels like an old-style adventure movie of the likes of "The Goonies", "The Sandlot" or "E.T."
OMG OMG OMG that was some of the best star wars since return of the jedi. PURE AMAZING. PERIOD.
Well, well, well. Why, is this an Amish production of The Count of Monte Cristo or just the weirdest circle jerk I've been invited to?
The show had its up and downs.
But honestly I found the last season a high tick up in quality over the last few & it felt like a return to form, so I'm glad it ended in a bang (pun intended).
One thing that did prevail thru the up's and down was the cast. They were the heart of the show and put their all into every episode. Many giving performances that are wave above & beyond cable TV. The show gets a ton of hate, but overall I'd say it was a fun journey & I'll definitely miss it.
Thanks for the wild ride & I'm excited to see what they do with TWDU.
P.S - Haters who comment on LITERALLY every episode, can ya'll please just NOT watch any of the other shows & b*tch non-stop no matter how good it is? It will make all of our lives a lot easier :)
Honestly I really enjoyed this movie. Was it like Ragnarock? No, but it still was funny with some exciting end credits scenes! At the cinemas many people were quite hyped up which made the experence so much better!
Emma Stone and Emma Thompson absolutely delivered in their performances, the storyline is better than I ever imagined it would've been!!! 10's across the board and the Wardrobe was to die for.
If only he would have just killed him instead of trying to get him to confess. That's another character I liked that is now dead in this series.
This episode was something omg and best of the season, of the show, so much pay off to what they were building and terrific performance by the actors and writers. Homelander is in an interesting place...it will be good to see what he does during season 3 and that ending omg. S3 looks super exciting already.
I've been thinking for 30 minutes how to review this without spoilers but I'm as giddy as a 10 year old right now. Simply shell shocked. This was pure pleasure for any Star Wars fan, just go watch it (again)
Ok someone has to say it, the goofy dancing, the serious faces, the music ... those title credits are the best of every episode ... I love them!
This is one of the most heartbreaking, enraging things I've ever seen. Every episode before this one has been impactful, but this one goes even harder. The way I was crying the entire episode because I knew how it would end for that kind, beautiful man. The same way it ended for all those people who deserved a lot better than meeting this absolute psychopath.
I first thought it was another simple horror tv show. It’s deeper than that. The storyline is great and it’s very suspenseful. Although it might have some annoying lengths sometimes.
After watching this, it's hard for me to think anyone could believe there was "evidence beyond reasonable doubt". There were SO many mistakes, questions, contradictions, and procedural misconducts which cast doubts on the State's case.
such a quick show to watch, and so worth it. I think i speak for everyone when i say sister michael is the best character.
Coming back from cinema and all i have to say is that is one of the best sequels i have ever watched. It was a unique experience watching this in cinema because everything worked in a perfect way from great directing to a well made script. It will probably make you feel emotional during it's time and you are going for sure to feel the nostalgy.Sorry for my bad English i am not in a perfect level but don't miss this one it's a little bit of a masterpiece.
