These faith-based movies play very differently for people who have it verses people who believe in other things than God. The movie was okay but it by no means spoke to me or made me anything other the annoyed really since the word "God" repeats itself like 20-30 times in the movie. At some point it's like okay, I get it, and I can accept it and be fine watching it but it doesn't need to be shoved down my throat which this movie without a doubt did do in it's pursuit to it's predictable ending. A little less faith cram and about 20 minutes less time would've done this movie wonders.
By far the worst host I’ve ever seen in my life. Cringeworthy. Bring back Ricky Gervais!!
this is my favorite movie from Harry Potter always <3
Margot Robbie is a gift to cinema. This movie is a gift to our society. It's enjoyable and fun but part way through it become a pretty good commentary on our society and how men and women treat each other. It talks about capitalism, consumerism, feminism, the patriarchy, men's mental health, and how wrong we get the simple act of living sometimes. I'm sure there's gonna be people who think this is ultra woke, but maybe (and ironically), that's some people need.
I went for the laughs and left the movie theater with an existential crisis. I loved it <3
3 Thoughts After Watching ‘The Little Mermaid’:
Halle Bailey IS Ariel. She was absolute perfection. From voice to vibe, she captured her essence impeccably. I believe a star has officially been born.
Melissa McCarthy had veryyy gargantuan tentacles to fill. And I think Pat Carroll would’ve been incredibly pleased with what she did with her sea witch.
I thought they built upon the original film’s story in all the right ways. Fleshing it out to make a little more sense. Providing more substance. While not everything was picture perfect, it worked and gave fresh magic to a beloved story.
Bonus Thought: I thought it was a fantastic movie to look at, especially under the sea. Gorgeous colors and visuals. Eye candy all around. And that includes Jonah Hauer-King. :pound_symbol:snack
I´ve seen Jurassic Park a couple times over the years and I´m always amazed how well this stands up to to later movies. This never looked old, not 10 years after, not 20 years after it was made.
This will sound weird, but if you like BoJack Horseman then you will love this in every way as it feels almost like a live-action version.
Self-absorbed, ridiculously carried-away trash that thinks it's way more edgy and pertinent than it actually is. An adaptation of a popular novel, it's clearly the victim of a studio mandate to swing hard, if not particularly accurately. It's loaded with starpower, with Tom Hanks, Bruce Willis, Melanie Griffith and Morgan Freeman sharing the spotlight, but none can help their sailing astronomically over the top with the material. Each character is more selfish and despicable than the last, even Freeman's grandstanding judge and Hanks's over-his-head bond trader on trial as political fodder.
Lofty hunks of social commentary are swung around with all the subtlety of a war hammer, belaboring the point until we all lay bruised, bloodied and beaten on the floor. Potentially-pointed stereotypes get played like aces, but fail to register as more than a long series of cartoon characters with a big vocabulary. It's confused, sneering and wretched; no surprise it could only attract flies at the box office.
The best part about this it that I could watch the Reveren dying three times.
Also: Daniel Radcliffe.
I anticipated the sound coming back when the two girls got into the cab and it still kinda scared me. Amazing episode.
Amazing episode! Really different than anything i've seen before. Great job!
I watched this to the end because I couldn't believe it could be so bad the whole way through. I was wrong. What a terrible movie.
Oh come on guys! The movie was good entertainment. Why whine about every little detail, when you can enjoy two hours of mindless fun and action. The ending was awesome. Can't wait where this is going.
Is there any reason this is organized the way it is? I mean at least a list that is in the DVD episode order would be nice.
Why do people like it? I just don't get it.
Generic flat characters, and predictable plot ... The movie is ok to pass the time, but nothing more.
And ,Dark Elves , seriously?
I really love this movie. You can feel the Mexican magic every minute. Thank you Pixar for this gorgeous movie!
Cristina should have done a guest star appearance...
One of my favourite shows!
if you have not watched this show, you're doing something terribly wrong
This show has the best finale I have ever seen! While the show does have its points where it gets boring, the ending made it all worth it! Very well done!
Like Larry, in Orange Is the New Black, Fish Moonie's story needs to be cut to help focus the show's main storyline. Every time I see her, it takes me out of the Gotham world and down a road I just don't care about.
