Good lore expansion and was progressive.
The Abe Jurassic Park parody. MAKING A JOKE ABOUT CANCELLING THE SHOW AGAIN IS CRAZY . A good finale but an annoying cliffhanger. Other than that it's good.
Finally got some good music. A very explicit episode but also very good. Angel and Val remind me of Fizzarali and Mammon. And Husk losing his overlord status to gambling is wack and to what we presume to be Alastor makes you think about how many people owe Alastor. But Husk doesn't seem to restrained so Idk what his debt is.
Seeing more overlords was good but this definitely begs the question of who is more powerful heaven vs hell. Even one overlord is so powerful I'm curious how all of hell would compare. Also where do already dead souls go when they die a second time? And where would sinners go if heaven wiped out all of hell? Music still sucks tho.
Love the reference to the show Pim showed Charlie in season 1. Lots of rotoscope in this one and Jared Fogle is crazy.
Wow this is a lot. Crazy animation, an insane reappearance of an OG, more goofy faces and shots, and an ep centered around Alan that references the pilot!?
"We could rule them like gods. Angry gods." - Jake
"Welp you killed her." - Jake
The first look at Susan which is sick. A classic.
Peptide rap go crazy. Great and funny start to the season. Eyeball pegging was not something I thought I would see but okay then.
I absolutely love the writing in this episode. So much character and infliction and fun voices and faces. I love the references to the pilot in this episode and just how much character this has. As well as the nod to ninja type enemies in the future. A clear rip on Naruto with a ton of really cool effects and feels like they're playing card wars with their attack names. Ez 10/10
This show keeps getting farther away from Ted. It's supposed to be John and Ted and meanwhile politics are literally left and right. Very disappointed that this only got worse. The fact it was non stop was overkill. This was a weird ep.
Wasn't a big fan of Scudworth's B plot.
Kick ass finale with sadly more shitty music. Lots of action and just what this show needed. The whole mercy thing was stupid af and Sir Pentious dying again to go to heaven begs lots of questions. At least Adam died. Eager to see what comes next.
This episode defines rising action. The buildup to the finale and a solid plan to do so.
Idk this episode just felt boring. Not much happens but Lucifer gets screen time. More shitty songs and foreshadowing of Alastor. Kind of answers the question of Husk from last episode but not completely. And when Husk says Alastor's also on a leash? Who else is really above him other than heaven? What did he do and where did he go?
Really glad to see them getting back to IMP finally? That's what the show started as and I think it's gone too far off it's path. This episode was so good with the Moxxie Millie conflict and more family members to uncover while also being mostly on Earth.
Awesome to see bad guys get what they deserve and to see Moxxie's family. Intimidating ending though and I doubt they can stop the entire mafia but at the same time Millie kinda proved that wrong. Considering Moxxie's mom I don't know why he would live that long after that.
Terrible song, short plot, seemed too similar to Angel Dust and unlikeable characters. This episode felt like such a waste. And it's still not updated to be S1E8 >:(
Best song in the show and some crazyy lore that no one saw coming.
Nah a Loona fursuit is crazy.
"First of all fuck you," - Blitzø
Love the innuendos in the beginning and are actually funny again somewhat. The return of the Cherubs and the spies with um, FULLY WEAPONIZED PREISTS?
The Noggin Clontith gnome sound effect is used for a butt plug what the actual fuck. This whole Stolas arc is kinda wild but mature so I'm proud of him.
Sadly 90% of the dialogue is horseshit but I love the fish character and the cats. The animation looks incredible!!
Charlie's gaming laptop cameo :sunglasses:
This episode just feels like the Enchanted Forest ep from season 1. :/
I think some people think this is a filler episode but it's got some GREAT skits and cuts. Very funny one.
"You are a BALD." - Larry
Cool episode that makes you think about everything you rate.
Basically SpongeBob movie 1 end scene lmao.
Episode goes so hard feel free to watch. So many good clips and details here I can't even list them all. Also Konami Code and Mario star reference. I love that the same background music Tobias uses in his video is the song used when Gumball is possessed by Carrie in The Ghost. Absolutely love this one.
Harry Potter reference with a good cutaway.
Also yes there's a little filler in this but it's funny filter.
"Why is it called a hospital flip."
Insane animation shot music video style that looks amazing.
The voice cast kills it also shout out to Gumball grinding Coach's head and hippie jumping through Donut Cop. This is episode is just so good.
Something straight out of Regular Show, what's not to love! Stripper clowns and hamburgarlars playing to the death on a shitty vr game Mordecai made in his garage.
Too many funny parts and jokes to even explain, you have to just watch this episode again. :)
Good acting and a weird Scott/Hope era with a cool ass new mini boss. Another example of this show doing terrible lip sync btw. I like how they teleport out of their car and changed into suits in a blink.
"I'll touch you if I want." - Yellow Jacket WOAHH
Guys Letterboxd banner episode. Pretty damn good but like is YJ just stuck there as their coat rack for eternity now :sob:
This is more like it! Dude getting owned by ants and I love how in character Josh Keaton is with Paul Rudd and his portrayal. The little ant fist bumps haha it's perfect.
